Seem to be permanently shut out of I-Tunes Store

Hvae been shut out of ITunes Store for 9 or 10 mos. Have reauthorized computer many times, changed password, checked security settings & downloaded (successfully) version 10.3. I'm ready to scream.  All I do is get sent back to the advertising page for 10.3. Am able to access purchased music, but can't get into Store. Please help!

Forgot to mention that I never get an error message. Just....nothing happens.

  • Lightroom 5 permanently runs out of memory

    Lightroom 5 on Windows 7 32 Bit and 8 Gigabytes of memory (more than the 32 Bit system can use) permanently runs out of memory when doing some more complex edits on a RAW file, especially when exporting to 16 Bit TIFF. The RAW files were created by cameras with 10 up to 16 megapixel sensors with bit depths between 12 and 14.
    After exporting one or two images to 16 Bit uncompressed TIFF an error message "Not enough memory" will be displayed and only a Lightroom restart solves that - for the next one to two exports. If an image has much brush stroke edits, every additional stroke takes more and more time to see the result until the image disappears followed by the same "Not enough memory" error message.
    A tab character in the XMP sidecar file is *not* the reason (ensured that), as mentioned in a post. It seems that Lightroom in general does not allocate enough memory and frees too less/late allocated.
    Please fix that bug, it's not productive permanently quit and restart Lightroom when editing/exporting a few RAW files. Versions prior to Lightroom 4 did not have that bug.

Posting here, because it was not possible to post it at http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/new It's very bad design, to let a user take much time to write and then say: "Log in", but a log in with the Adobe ID and password does not work (creating accounts on Facebook etc. is not an acceptable option, Adobe ID should be enough). Also a bugtracker such as Bugzilla would be a much better tool for improving a software and finding relevant issues to avoid duplicate postings.

    First of all: I personally agree with your comments regarding the feedback webpage. But that is out of our hands since this is a user-to-user forum, and there is nothing we users can do about it.
    Regarding your RAM: You are running Win7 32-bit, so 4 GB of your 8 GB of RAM sit idle since the system cannot use it. And, frankly, 4 GB is very scant for running Lr, considering that the system uses 1 GB of that. So there's only 3 GB for Lr - and that only if you are not running any other programs at the same time.
    Since you have a 8 GB system already, why don't you go for Win7 64-bit. Then you can also install Lr 64-bit and that - together with 8 GB of RAM - will bring a great boost in Lr performance.
    Adobe recommends to run Lr in the 64-bit version. For more on their suggestion on improving Lr performance see here:

  • Adobe shutting out TLP customers from Upgrade Plan

    I am a network administrator for a small company of about 10 million dollars per year.  We have a copy of Adobe CS6, InDesign and 12 licenses of Adobe Acrobat.  For the last 6 or so years we have purchased the Upgrade Plan though the Transactional Licence Program for the Creative Suite and InDesign.  I am mystified why Adobe is now shutting out smaller customers like use from being able to subscribe to the upgrade plan?
    The changes in licensing over the last 6 or so months have been very negative for us.  We feel like we are being forced into buying upgrades instead of being able to be on a predictable upgrade plan.  I hate to say it, but Adobe's licensing is now worse than Microsoft's.  At least MS is willing to offer any company Software Assurance at any level.
    We also use QuarkXpress in additon to InDesign.  I guess I will need to start pushing that we use Quark instead of Adobe. 
    I hate to be bitter, but this really leaves me feeling screwed by Adobe.

    They also stated the "new" features being released on the Cloud would be released to all users in the next full release. However now there is no next release for perpetual license holders other than the cloud going forward. This is blatant misinformation as well, information they no doubt knew but withheld to ensure further sales of CS6 in the meantime. Very shady practices on Adobe's part, many efforts seem to be made to boost sales of CS6 even when they knew what was happening behind the scenes with their decisions that are now detrimental to many customers going forward.

    I am having essentialy the same problem, but my iPod came from a PC and is now on a PC. The person who gave me the iPod didn't give me the wall adapter piece, so I bought a "Griffin" brand that was said to be compatible with this model. When I first plugged it into the wall, the Apple appeared with a bar underneath as though it was loading the new software. When the bar got to the end, the "plug into the wall" icon reappeared, but when I plug it in to the wall now, that icon is the only thing that shows, even after resetting and trying to run diagnostics.
    When I doc the iPod on a charger I have or plug the USB into my computer and "reset" it, a battery with a charge icon appears, but there is no "motion" in the icon so it doesn't appear to be charging. The screen eventually goes back to the apple then to the "plug it into the wall" icon. HELP!!! Is is possible the wall adapters isn't the right one? Should I be charging through a firewire cable instead (which I also don't have...)?

    He dragged the icon out of the dock at the bottom and disappeared. That icon is merely a "shortcut" that opens the application when you click on it.
    You still have the app. Open your applications folder and look for the App Store app icon. Click and hold down on the App Store icon and drag the icon down into the dock to replace it. That puts the shortcut back into the dock.

  • Other computers shutting out internet on my computer

    I have a Time Capsule, and I have my iMac which connects to the Time Capsule for wireless internet.... The problem I am having is; When another laptop (Mac or PC) connects to the internet, it's shuts out the internet on my computer.... (not the connection entirely) but I can't acsess the internet....
    I am sure there is a simple fix to this problem.... Can someone help me out?

    I would think it is the way the Time Capsule is configured although there is a possibility of a hardware problem. I use my Time Capsule for backup and internet with two computers and have had up to four connected (for internet usage) with no problems. I have also helped setup several Time Capsule networks and have never had this happen.
    You should try reconfiguring the Time Capsule again using Airport Utility or maybe even doing a hard reset followed by a reconfiguration. If you decide to do so I have the hard reset instructions posted below. You should also document each step in the reconfiguration process, so if it doesn't work when finished you can post that along with your network setup information so someone might be able to help you.

  • Blu-ray discs don't seems to write a 'lead-out'. Help!

    I am using Premiere Pro CS4 with Encore CS4. Up until now I have always used DVD's and not blu-ray discs and have never had a problem. I now film in full HD and would like to be able to build blu-ray discs in Encore.
    I import to Encore through dynamic link, and set my blu-ray project to PAL 1980x1080, 25fps - the same as my original footage and premiere sequence. The disc appears to burn ok, and you can see there is data on the disc. However, the disc is rejected by my sony blu-ray player, and both the blu-ray disc drives in my PC. It keeps telling me that the format is unsupported. I have tried lowering too 1440 and even 720 and it makes no difference at all. I made sure the region was correct too - region 2 (as i'm in the UK).
    I have tried importing very short sequences so that I can watch the process, and I have noticed that unlike my DVD discs, the blu-ray doesn't seem to write a 'lead-out). It says it's complete but it's almost as if it doesn't finialise the disc for playback.
    I am so confused, and at this stage rather frustrated! Has anyone got any pointers as to what may being going wrong here?

    To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
    Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them.

  • Administrator shut out! password lost.

    Situation and problem description:
    administrator forgot password. shut out of system. lost admin password is same as login password.
    Logged on using another account which has no system privileges nor most applications nor utilities (a child's account).
    Time Machine Back ups on separate hard drive are obviously not accessible.
    Can not use installation CD as this account has no privileges - so can not use the option to reset password holding down C key.
    There is a key logger installed but again it is tied to the administrator and so hot key cannot be used (the key logger will have recorded the new password which has caused this problem - together with lack of foresight, obviously.
    Any solution considered including ways to initialize disk even if content is lost -  currently the computer is only good enough for my 5 year old.
    I need a hacker!
    Hypnosis an option? (joking...then again, maybe not!)

    I'd suggest being more specific. What do you mean by "it seems to have thrown windows out of the system?" The Windows virtual machines should still be in the Virtual Machines folder in your documents folder. Are they there? What version of Fusion have you updated from and to?

    Hi,
    I am presuming you are looking in the Video Menu but are finding you do not have "permission" to enable Screen Sharing.
    In Messages Menu > Preferences > Video section what speed setting is set in the Bandwidth Limit drop down ?
    It should be no lower that 200kbps if you want to Video chat or Screen Share  (the Min for both is 128kbps)
    Even if it shows a speeds higher than this change it to something like 500kbps then close/Quit Messages and then restart it. (i.e change the setting anyway to give a bot of a jolt)

    You can condense multiple clips that are stacked above each other into a nest. The nest appears as a single clip in the Timeline. If you need to modify the individual clips inside after you have created the nest, it can be expanded again by double clicking it.
