Seem to have a different problem purchasing music
Hello,
I have an HP PC using Windows XP. I've been using iTunes and the music store for several months now and haven't had a problem until recently.
When I click on "Buy Now," first I get this message:
"Your shopping cart's contents have changed. Either the prices of some items have changed, or items have been added or removed from another computer. Please review your shopping cart and click buy now. OK"
Well, nothing has changed, so I click OK, some time passes, and I get a red X with this message:
"We could not complete your Music Store request. The server was not found. There was an error in the music store. Please try again later."
This has been going on for days. I should mention that I used to have ZoneAlarm and I refused to give Bonjour permission to access the Internet last week, because I didn't realize what it was.
This is what I have tried:
Double-checked my account information.
I removed all songs from my cart, re-searched for them and re-added them.
I updated iTunes to the most recent version.
I removed ZoneAlarm, SpyBot, AdAware, and turned off my Windows firewall. I use AVG anti-virus software and always have--I didn't remove that.
I re-downloaded Bonjour.
I have the XP Service Pack 2 so I did what the FAQ said and ran the "repair" on Bonjour.
Restarted my computer numerous times.
Is there something I'm missing? I have looked at a lot of the support information on the Music Store, and the error messages I get aren't even mentioned.

I sent a copy of this post to Support, and just received a reply.
They said I tried what they would have told me to try, and my strange error messages are likely because I had these songs sitting in my shopping cart when the widespread problems happened in the Music Store. It was suggested that I should disable my shopping cart and buy using one-click until the Music Store problems resolved. I did do that, and I'm able to purchase single songs. However, I was still unable to purchase an album. But since I'm not the only one with that problem, I can wait on a fix for that.

Since downloading iOS 7, I have been having trouble purchasing music from iTunes Store. When ever I try to make a purchase I always get the message "Your account is not valid in the US store" As I am new at this I don't know what I can do to remove this problem.
What country are you in ? If you aren't in the US and the address on your account isn't in the US then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select your country.

Why does Apple not give a list of error messages and possible solutions? I have the (-54) error continually that has suddenly appeared and cannot find a solution, even though other users seem to have the same problem.
This is a user to user forum. Apple isn't here and won't answer you. You need to contact Apple directly. You can use the Contact button at the bottom of the screen.

How do I bring music from my CDs in iTunes from an old PC to iTunes recently installed on my new PC? The music is all on my iPhone as well.
To clarify, on my iPhone and in iTunes on my old PC I have a combination of purchased music from the iTunes store and music I had imported several years ago from my collection of music CDs. It appears if I now sync from my new PC via iTunes, it will wipe all of the music from my iPhone and then sync up only the music I've purchased from the iTunes Store.

I have an Ipad mini but the screen seems to have a sticking problem
I have an Ipad mini but the screen seems to have a sticking problem around the O&P DELETE area if in Landscape mode which results in the continual typing of these if in Keyboard mode or the selecting of whichever app is in that area despite me not actually touching it. Any ideas how this can be fixed at all?

The cable from the power adapter (charger) to my 3rd generation iPad is fraying, but it looks like the available cables now have a different end on them. Can someone tell me exactly what I need to purchase to replace the cable (adapter too?). I also noticed the power adapters are now 5 or 12 watt, but the one that came with my iPad is a 10 watt. Is this going to be an issue?
Using stevejobsfan0123's link, searching the Q&A for "length" shows the cable is roughly 2 feet long.

Another Ipod Problem - Purchased Music wont play
I just recently recieved my fifth repaired Ipod in a year and a halves time, and now I have another problem. I loaded all of my iTunes songs to my iPod, but all of my purchased music will not play, it just skips over them to the next song. What is going on?
Thank you for your help in advance.Could you share this again? I have looked for answers to this issue in multiple threads and have yet to find anything that works. All the latest stuff, resync, etc. and the purchased music still won't play after some interval of time. It plays fine for a while then it just skips through the titles.
Is it a time thing or something you can set?

Seems simple but: want to trannfer purchased music from one Mac to another
On the family iMacG5 have backed up my daughters small library of "purchased" music to a dvd using the "data cd" setting in preferences.
1)can i use this cd to transfer or import to her new MB?
2) is there any danger my ripping data back-ups could be viewed as making and or burning a musin cd, ie maxing out at 7?

Hi guys,
I recently updated to 6.1.3 and seem to have to have network connectivity issue. The network bar stands at 2 to 3 where as the same connection on another phone stands well at full 5 bars (at the same location).
And also App store takes ages to load.
Any remedy for this ??
P.S: I have done the basics like rebooting, cleaning history and cookies of Safari, exiting all backgroud processes, turning off location service and minimal push-notifications. But doesn't seem to take me anywhere . Kindly Suggest !!

Black screen, grey screen, light blue screen, pixelated screen, white screen with darkened corners, flickering screen, white stripe across screen, no connectivity to anyone's computer incl bluetooth. Recurrent dead battery. Occasional apple on screen.

Since downloading Spotify app (trial for 1 month), i seem to have lost itunes from my dock, including my music. How do i bring it & all my music back. the last time i saved it to my hard drive was 3 months ago.
If you start iTunes from Launchpad or Applications. It will Show the icon on the desktop. Right mouse click select Options and Keep in Dock.
When you say your music has dissapeared is it removed from your hard drive?
username/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music is the path to my music on the local hard drive?
If it is missing from itunes then redrag the Music folder back into iTunes and your music should reappear.

I seem to have two apple ID.s, and one is my email address. How do I correct this as I can't delete and replace the ID?
Saw this in another forum. You could try it.
Under the FaceTime Account you can only have 1 email set up, but below that you can set up multiple email accounts as phone numbers, I do it all the time.
FaceTime is set up with my account, but since the iPad is more of a family device (its mine, but everyone is allowed to use it), my sister programed her email so that her friends can call her on the iPad and so did my Mom and brother. Their friends dial their numbers (email addresses) and the iPad still rings even though the main number is mine account.

Hi! I have an 8th generation ipod and have purchased a new laptop with windows 8. I purchased new songs on itunes and can't seem to transfer them to my ipod now. Doesn't give me an option to check the box under albums like I had to do before my new computer purchase. I have authorized this computer to accept itunes. Not sure what else to do. Don't want to lose all my songs already synched. Help! Thanks!
What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

I can't make any purchases, could have to do with change from ClickandBuy to Creditcard but I can't find the issue.
I can individually re-download each song from the initial search page and then they show up. The "Report a Problem" button does not work on either the music receipt or from the accounts page.

Anything you purchased from the iTunes Store can be downloaded again, as often as necessary, as long as it still exists in the iTunes Store.
