Now our heads has gone for a toss....can anyone kindly suggest what and where we have missed out.

IDoc type could not be determined for the IDoc
    Message no. B1090
    Diagnosis
The IDoc passed to the ALE layer could not be processed. The specifications passed in the control record were not correct.
The basic IDoc type (field EDIDC-IDOCTP on the outbound side or EDI_DC-IDOCTYP on the inbound side)has not been specified for this IDoc.
The attempt to read the basic IDoc type from table EDIDO also failed. No table entry was found for IDoc type  from field DOCTYP.
    Procedure
    Possible error sources:
    - The calling program did not provide values for the fields specified above correctly. Make a note of the transaction in which this error occurred and consult your ALE administrator.
    - The IDoc type  is not known in your system and must be maintained.
    Kindly do the needful.

If you want to create IDocs from the proposal run, outbound parameters (we20) with the 'Test' flag are required in addition.
see OSS note 504230 : Message EUPEXR forms the logical unit around the individual payment messages (PAYEXT IDocs). The E1IDRD1 segments contain the IDoc numbers of the payment messages in field DOCNUM. Segment E1IDRS1 contains check sums (total of all amounts, account numbers, bank numbers, number of payment messages). This information is provided for the EDI subsystem. Set up EUPEXR In Transaction WE20 for the partner profile for the house bank, create the outbound parameters for message type EUPEXR with IDoc type IDCREF01. If you want to create IDocs from the proposal run, outbound parameters with the 'Test' flag are required in addition.

  • How to insert the standard idoc segment in the idoc

    Hi Experts!
We  are using  SRM 7.0.Wo got a requirement as below:
In our organiation there will be both regular employees and the non-employees.For non-employees address will not be maintained in Tcode PA20 in backend ECC HR  system.Where as for employees address will be maintained.
As the HR replication will be done by scheduled jobs, in case of non employees replication is not happening due to the missing address in PA20.In order to avoid this we are building some logic and as part of it we need to add the standard IDOC segment  'E1P0006' in the main idoc as this particular segment is for address and it is missing due to the missing address in PA20 for non-employees where as this idoc segment will be there for employees.
As am very much new to idoc concept can some one help me how to handle this if any one of you came across this kind of scenario.
Please find the attached document for the idoc seq we have.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Kalyani

    1. Open the form
    2. Choose Tools--> Diagnostics
    3. In the block field choose $DESCRIPTIVE_FLEXFIELD$
    4. Field will show the list of all the DFF's enabled for that form.
    5. Choosing one will display the name of the DFF in the value field.

  • IDoc type could not be determined for the IDoc

I am trying to Post the payment run through the transaction F110.
In the payment run log i get the following message:
"IDoc type could not be determined for the IDoc"
But in fact the IDoc is generated and it is displayed in We05.
I have configured the Message type PAYEXT-PEXR2002 and EUPEXR-IDCREF01 both for the partner.
Has anybody Idea about why this error is coming and how i can resolve this?
This is important because in Payment run log, they need to know the IDoc number generated for that run, else it may become difficult for user to identify which IDoc was created for a particular payment run.
Would appreciate if anyone can please help on the same.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Narayanan

    Hi,
If you are paying the payment through F110, if the payment exceeds the limit what you are spefied in available amounts in FI12 screen. First Please check this screen.
still if you are having any problem
    Check in the below path:
IMG- Financial Accounting (New) - Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable - Business Transactions - Release for Payment - 1. Create Workflow Variant for Release for Payment
    2. Assign Release Approval Procedure for Release for Payment
    3. Define Users with Authorization to Payment Release

  • How to find out the printer name for the Idoc

    Hi guys
I want to find out the printer name for the Idoc,,some default printer is attached for one idoc, then how can we see the printer name for this idoc.
    Regards
    Madhoo

    Hi,
For ALE/IDOC the  medium will be either ALE or EDI but not printer. So it might be wrongly attached. As such there won't be any printer attached to idoc.

    Hello,

There is no saprouter between ERP and MII as in the thread from Christoph Mertins in November 2008. The user rfc-i33 on the ERP has SAP_ALL permissions.
    Has anyone an idea ?
    Kind Regards,
    Thomas Strecker

    Thomas,
There is a link for a basic IDoc installation that may help.
    [IDocListener|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/bpx-community/manufacturing/how%20to%20send%20an%20idoc%20from%20sap%20ecc%20to%20the%20sap%20mii%20idoc%20listener.pdf]
One other issue that has occurred to cause problems is registering the program in Visual Administrator.  If you registered the ProgID in Visual Administrator, there will now be two ProgIDs registered (MII does self registration with the RFC Destination upon starting the server).  Delete the registration in VA, if you did it.
If there are other error messages available, please post them.
    Good luck,
    Mike
I also just remembered, if you have two ProgIDs that are the same, running on two separate MII instances, you may run into a problem.  Not sure it will have the same symptoms or error messages, but something else to check with (especially when migrating from dev to prod).

    Dear Gurus:
I need  help in completing small test that I am doing to send MATMAS IDOC to xMII.
    I have done:
    1.     RFC connection SM69 and tested ok
    2.             xMII IDOC Listner config with my SAP client
    3.     Connection appears in –smgw ok (in logon client screen)
    4.     Completed Distribution channel and we20,we21
All above looks in place when I send one IDOC (BD10) it remains in 03 even after I run RBDMOIND. Besides IDOC is not appearing in C:\Lighthammer\JCO\Output.
On tRFC I see error “The meta data for the IDoc type "MATMAS05" is unavailable.”
    Note that

    b) xMII version 11.5
    c) I used "How to send IDOC ...." Version 2 PDF that is available on web (thanks to Bimal)
    d) I looked at other two posts which has to do with LOIPRO message type and with JCO issue

  • Populating the custom segments for the Basic type attached to HRMD_A (IDOC)

    Hi,
I've enhanced a few infotypes and want the new fields to be available in an IDOC created through the program RHALEINI.
Here are the steps I followed.
    Step 1 :(we31)
We created new segment Z1IT023 , containing all the fields from infotype 0023 along with the custom fields added.
    Step 2 :(we30)
We created an extension of IDOC type HRMD_A07 by name HRMD_EX to include this segement.
    Step 3 :
We added an entry in table EDIMSG against message type HRMD_A , with base type : HRMD_A07 , extension : HRMD_EX , version : 700
    Step4 :(we20)
Now , we made changes to partner profile by adding entry for message type HRMD_A with base IDOC type as HRMD_A07 and extension as HRMD_EX
    Step5:
We changed the entry in table T777D and specified the IDOC segment as Z1IT023.
    Step6.
We then tried to execute the report RHALEINI to generate the IDOC. The IDOC got created, but it didn't have the data for the segment Z1IT023.
In fact, there is a different solution to this... by adding the custom segment(containing nly the new infotype fields) as a child of the original segment E1P0023 and then writting code in the user-exit to populate the segment, but our intension is to have a single segment with all the infotype 0023 data. Besides, I believe in HR, making an entry in T777D should free us from writing any code for populating the IDOC segments.
Can anybody please suggest me, where am I going wrong. How can the new segments be populated automatically.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sujit.
    Responses will be suitably rewarded.

    Hi,
Did u get any exit to populate the custom segment?
    Thanks,
    San

  • Finding the correspponding IDoc No's for values in a segment of the Idoc

    Hi,
I have around 100 work order numbers, based on which I want to find out the failed Idoc numbers. These work order numbers are part of one of the segment fields in IDocs. I know the message type of the IDocs.
I do not want to use transaction WE09 as it would be too time consuming, entering one work order number and finding the correspponding IDoc. Is there a way of finding all the correspponding IDoc numbers for the work order numbers that I have at one go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Mick

    Thanks Raja.
But I dont want to write a report. I was just want to get the IDoc numbers using a table or a function module. Any idea if using Transaction SE16N can help?
If yes how should I go about it, as I have already tried querying table edid4 passing all the work order numbers. But no result. What I have observed is that the data is stored in the field application data in the table and to get data querying the table, passing the work order number might not be possible. As the application data contains a lot of other data also.

  • How to generate multiple files for each segment in the IDOC

    Hi,
I have a IDOC with multiple segments, for each segment, a file needs to be generated,
There is only one target structure. Please let me know as to how do we handle this requirement in XI.

Use multimapping in message mapping. Then map the Idoc node to the Message Type of File.

  • Maximum number of times for the segment in the idoc

I am in WE30 transaction, and i am creating a new idoc type, and i have a doubt in the maximun number of a repeated segment.
    Example idoc 1:
    Line_of_order xxx
    Text y1y1y1
    Text y2y2y2
    Line_of_order xxx
    Text y1y1y1
    Text y2y2y2
What would be the idoc orders structure :
    A)
    Line_of_order min:1  max: 1
    Text min 1 max 2
    B)
    Line_of_order min:1  max: 2
    Text min 1 max 4

    It would be:
    Line_of_order min:1 max: 2
    Text min 1 max 2

  • Manual price condition item for the Idoc IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS

    Hello,
I need to inform the item manual price using the function module for IDOCs IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS. I am trying by the segment E1EDP05, field Price, but it doesn´t work properly.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards

    Manuel,
Merely putting the 'price' into a segment-field won't result in good result. You will need to (potentially)populate a few more fields to tell SAP what you want changed. Here is an example, I have a Condition Type called 'Z123' which is a manual condition record. It has been defined as a 'dollar-off' based discount (as opposed to a percentage etc). If I want to push through a discount of, say, $1.00 per unit then I will be populating the following fields within E1EDP05:
    KSCHL - 'Z123'
    KRATE - '2.21'
    MEAUN - 'EA'
    KOEIN - 'NZD'
Try that and see how you get on. Also check your EDI config around the handling of Messages for Inbound Orders.
Here's another hint... Simulate what you want to achieve by creating a sales order manually on the system with the relevant condition types populated and then trigger an outbound IDoc. Take a look at the E1EDP05 segment of the outbound IDoc and it will effectively tell you what you need to populate and where to populate it.
Since I'm on a roll and feeling altruistic, here's another hint for you... Use WE19 and use the 'Inbound function module' icon and from the dialogue box select the 'Process in the Foreground'. As this function module is effectively a dirty old BDC wrapped around a SAP standard FM, you can step through it and see how it is behaving...
If you are still having problems, let me know, and I will help you out as much as I can.
    Cheers,
    Paul...

  • Problem : IDoc to file Senario, multiple segments in the IDoc.Intresting !!

    Hello People,
Just a very good problem, to put your brains work.
The senario is Idoc to File.
Now Suppose the structure of IDoc is in such a way.
    segment1 -  fields A, B, C, D --- >> Single
segment2 - fields E,F            --->> This segment can come multiple times.
    segment3 - fields G, H          -
    >> Single
    segment4 - filds I, J, K          -
    >> Multiple.
Now the format of the file is Fixed Length.
The record will be inserted Row wise.
Let us assume that the number of segments are.
    segment1
    segment2
    segment2
    segment3
    segment4
    segment4
All segments are at the same level.
    Example of file :-
    A  B  C  D  E1  F1  G H I1  J1 K1
    A  B  C  D  E2  F2  G H I2  J2 K2
So please let me know, what kind of structure should i create in my repository for the Target and also let me know , the File content Conversion part ..
    Thanks in Advance.
    Harpreet.

    hi,
Repeat the row for each segment and in the (i)th iteration of the map it to the (i)th segment from the input. Now in your FCC, it will be like writing a normal fixed length conversion.
For e.g. you target structure will look somewhat like this.
    Document
      Recordset
         Record(i)
           FieldA
           FieldB
           FieldC
           FieldD
           FieldE(i)
           FieldF(i)
    and so on....
    Cheers,
    Sarath.

  • How to find out the table, data for the IDOCS is pulled from?

    HI
The ZFPH9999397 VENDOR FEED job runs the RBDMIDOC program with the variant Z9999_397.  This creates IDOCS that are sent out and eventually wind up in IMOS.
    The IDOC Type is CREMAS.
Can you tell me which table or tables the data for these IDOCS is pulled from?
Or tell me the procedure to find out the table name.
    Thanks,
    das.
Edited by: sathish dasari on Dec 10, 2009 11:54 AM

You can use Transp. Table      TBD62 .
    enter Message Type                      CREMAS
you will get the list of tables and the fields from which data is pulled based on the change pointers in Transp. Table      BDCP.

  • What is max no, min no asked when attaching a segment with the idoc in we30

    hi,
when creating a new idoc i am attaching a segment with the new idoc its asking for Maximum number, minimum number . what is this maximum and minimum number.

    hi preetha,
    Segm.type       Z1xxxxH
    mandaotry segment Y
    Minimum number  1
    Maximum number  1
    Parent segment
    Hier.level      1
min and max are 1 for header denoted as XXXXH
this is one segment that is assigned to the idoc.
in defining idoc u need to assign the number of header and child segments..
a child segment will be like this
    segment.type       ZXXXXD
    minimum number  1
    maximum number  6
    parent segment  ZxxxxH
    hier.level      2
zxxxd is the child segment with 6 entry levels
this tells u the maximum number for the child level
means more than 6 are not to be see if u open the idoc in we19.
    all in
this idoc has 1 parent segment (one entry)
                  1 child segment  (6 entries)
    hope this helps
    regards,
    Vijay
