Segmentation Model not working in IE11

Hi,
I am not able to launch segment builder screen on IE11. It keeps on loading. However, I am able to launch the same on latest mozilla. Can anyone help me fix this as I cannot ask the customer to just use a particular browser. Is there any available note?

Please first make sure that Mouse Properties\Pointer options\Hide pointer while typing is ticked.
If this option is already ticked, then try following steps to troubleshoot:
Update the driver for the mouse to get the best performance.
Choose a different cursor as Rob said for a test.
If this issue occurred recently, check if you have any newly installed programs or IE add-ons which cause this issue, you can test this in no add-ons mode, click start button, type "internet" in the search box, choose "internet explorer (No add-on)".
* I test in My IE, I have Hide pointer while typing checked, and in some typing boxes in IE the cursor will hide automatically, while some are not, but I think it's not an annoying issue for me.*

People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version

i am using sharepoint 2010 and windows authentication
recently i have updated my ie to ie11 and problem goes here.
when i try to select from people picker, there are an unexpected error happened
however when i use other ie version, people picker work fine, what goes wrong?
i have already added my system as trusted site
if there any others thing i miss out?

According to your post, my understanding is that People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version.
IE 11 is known to have compatibility issues on SharePoint 2010, please make sure to:
first of all, try installing latest update for IE 11 (several compatibility issues were fixed since the first release)
add the site to compatibility view (in IE> Tools> Compatibility view settings> type site name> add)
add the site to trusted sites and set the zone security level to low (in IE> Internet Options> Security> trusted sites> sites>add your site there> ok> custom level> select low> reset> ok)
You can use developer tools (f12) and set browser mode to the version that is most compatible with your environment.

People Picker/Edit Web Parts/More not working in IE11

So, we just installed IE11 in our company and found the following issues with SharePoint 2010:
People Picker not working
At Search site, when you type in string(s) and hit Enter, nothing happens (you must click the search button)
Cannot edit web parts on Wiki Page
After doing some exhaustive homework (and installing Sep 2014 CU to see they were fixed), the only 2 solutions are:
Run in compatibility Mode
Fix the below tag in the Master Page and People Picker headers (14 hive)
meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8"
So, I just want to know if others have encountered this and what they did to resolve (compatibility mode or change the tags or other).
I have a ticket open with Microsoft, we installed Sept 2014 CU, and are still having these 3 issues.

We know that IE11 has compatibility issues. Kindly follow below mentioned steps to solve this issue
1. Installed all the latest Update for IE 11
2. Add the site in compatibility Mode (Tools> Compatibility view settings> type site name> add)

Drag and Drop not working with IE11,Firefox or Chrome on Windows 7 x64 SP1

Hello,
I am trying to use drag and drop on my system but it is not working. other's within my department have no issues, but they are using IE10. I also have SharePoint Designer 2013 installed.
Any suggestions?

Derek,IE11 is having some compatibility issues with the share point.Apart from IE11,it should work on IE10,9 and Firefox and chrome as well.
Please check the links below that explains the issues with IE11 and the functionality of Drag and drop and limitations as-well.
1.Since SharePoint 2013 fully support IE 32-bit version above 7, there might be compatibility issue with other browsers. I’d recommend you use IE 8,9,10 32-bit for optimal Performance.
2. Open the same document library in Internet Explorer as this functions does not work with Firefox or Chrome by default
3. Make sure the IE (Internet Explorer) Version should be 32-bit and not a 64-bit

Flash player not working in IE11 on Windows 8.1

I am on Windows 8.1 and working with Windows 8.1
When I test Flash, I get this screen
When I check if the player is enabled or disabled I get this screen (seems that Flash is enabled):

Most of the problems come from the abomination Microsoft calls a browser---Internet Exploder 11.
IE has always been the problem child of browsers, but 11 has got to be the biggest pile of garbage to come out of Redmond, WA since Vista. They rewrote the "User-Agent Strings", which websites use to identify the browswer and provide the proper content for it, like ActiveX specific things. Some sites now ID it as Gecko (Firefox) while others ID it as Webkit (Chrome or Safari). Problem is, that when the content is adjusted for those User-Agent Strings, it REQUIRES the appropriate browser engine, which IE doesn't have (it uses Trident). EVERYTHING falls apart after that.
So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using a different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
Firefox (from Mozilla)
Opera (from Opera)
Safari (from Apple)
Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

Stateful session Bean in Model not working

I made a sample application very very simple, and the weblogic server cant find the @stateful annotation on the class. is it there another possibility? here i post the error i get:

New Context for 'Problems' in Rule modeler not working

Hi,
I am using the Rule modeler to determine the Service team based on selected Categorization schema for Incidents - it's working fine. Now I want to implement the same for Problems
I created a new Z Context (Master Request) to create a rule policy for Problems -> assigned rule policy to a ZServ.Mgr.Profile Unfortunately the rule policy is not working for problems. The new ZContext was copied from existing SERVICEREQUEST context which also copied all the services within.
Am I missing something ? Please help.

P.S incidents have an action definition with method DISPATCH that determines service team - same has been assigned to Problems.

Had to use 2 Dispatch methods to determine the service team.

WDS 2012 driver filtering by model not working

I am trying to filter all the drivers and force them to install for a HP Elite 8300 USDT and it is not working at all. When I remove the filter all the drivers install except the USB3. What gives? Any ideas?
I am using Server 2012 R2, but I am still using Windows 7 boot, do I need to upgrade that to the server 2012 R2 boot.wim for full support?

Run this command “wmic csproduct get name”,
make sure you typed the correct model name. And I found that remove model and keep only manufacture filter works with HP machines. Check the following thread:

Java Applet is not working in IE11 in win8/win 2008 server

we have developed web application using PHP. in the start of the page we have link which will kick start the Java Applet application on click.
It is not working in IE 11 browser with all windows machine until we add that page in the compatibility view settings.
we have tried with many options like setting the meta tag in the start of the HTML page.
but this is also not helped. we expect some more idea/solution to solve this issue.

IE 11 is not a supported browser of JavaFx. See http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javafx/downloads/supportedconfigurations-1506746.html.
If you want Oracle to change their support policy, ask Oracle customer support.

RoboHelp 7 is not supported with IE 11. It only works till IE 8 or less.

GPEDIT.MSC DO NOT WORK WITH IE11

When accessing the gpedit.msc in a Windows 7 configured tablet, we encountered the following error
after installing IE11: [$(string.Advanced Enable SSL3 Fallback) referenced in attribute displayName could not be found.]
I am unable to apply the enforce full screen mode policy for the kiosk mode because EI11 is no longer under user configuration>administrative templates>Windows components.
The gpedit.msc works find with IE9, the tablet is in a workgroup (standalone).
Any fix for this discrepancy?

Based on my test, for Internet Explorer 11 it still works fine. How did you do that?
Try this:
When enable it, Internet Explorer display like this:
Thus Firstly please check if this entry Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer
appear in your Local Group Policy Editor. And then make sure your Internet Explorer version is Internet Explorer 11 without problem.

Windows 8.1 Fingerprint Reader Will Not Work With IE11

After upgrading to Windows 8.1, I am having issues with Fingerprint Reader in Internet Explorer 11. I have upgraded to the latest Lenovo FPR software for Win 8.1 (6.0.0.8102) which has not helped.
FPR works fine to log-on into Windows 8.1.
When I try to activate the FPR in the LastPass Vault (IE11), I get an error message for a missing file - BIOCPL.DLL. I noticed that this file is present in the System32 directory for Windows 8 but it does not exist in Windows 8.1.
I copied biocpl.dll to the Win 8.1 System32 directory but it still doesn't work.
Any ideas??

Sounds to me like you are going to need an update to LastPass that is compatible with Windows 8.1.
BIOCPL.dll is the OS component that implements the Biometric Control Panel on Win7/Win8. But Microsoft moved all the Biometrics stuff from desktop into metro, in Win8.1. That's why this file no longer exists in the OS on Win8.1. Sorry to say, I don't think there is any possible solution to this problem other than asking the LastPass people for a new version.

Adobe Flash not working on IE11 for Windows 8.1

I have the latest Windows Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 8.1 and the latest Adobe Flash Player but over half of the web browsers aren't working properly or won't connect due to 'You need to upgrade your Flash Player' or 'You need to upgrade your Flash Player and enable Javascript'. I have the latest Adobe Flash Player and Java Script is enabled (see below).
I have enabled Flash Player and Disabled Active X Filtering and checked I have the latest IE11 and Latest Adobe Flash. I have read forums of many users that have this same issue but have not had one conclusive fix. Please Help!! Thanks

I am facing similar problems in windows 7 platform. I updated both my browser and my flash plugin yesterday and since then I am not able to play any video on youtube. Every time I start a video I get the message "An error occured, please try again". However, the same video works fine on Google Chrome.
I have tried all the above suggested methods, but no results. I also tried to revert back to FF 29.0.1 and shockwave flash player version 12.0.0.9. But I am still not able to play any video.
Same thing occurred in my laptop as well as on my desktop.
