My problem is a little hard to explain but I try.
What I want is to select a small area and then use the selected area to paint other areas of the image. Do not know how to do it and if it's stamp tools or pen tools to be used?

Sounds like you're looking for the Clone Stamp Tool. Set to Aligned, the sampling point resets when you release the mouse after painting. Untic Aligned and the sampling point stays in the original spot for the next stroke. It's a good idea to clone onto a separate layer with Sample All Layers selected. Then you don't lose original pixels. Allows you a do over later.

Aaronyou'll find that most of the useful functionality of the labview user control interface is hidden within the property node and invoke node functions. just right click a control or indicator terminal on the block diagram and mouse over to create, then to property node or invoke node. lots of fun stuff in there. attached is an example. one file is saved for labview 8.0, the other is saved for labview 8.6.

Importing business area and then using workbook file
I need to use a workbook that was created by another user and saved as an external file.
They exported their business area and sent it to me with the workbook.
When I tried to open the workbook after sucessfully importing the business area I could not find the imported business area and the components that go with it and their was no way to browse to find them.
Can anyone help me with this problem.
Thanks.If you want to use an external workbook that was saved to the desktop. You choose open and then click the icon with the label computer underneath.
If the components in your business area are not the same as the ones where the workbook was created you will be given the option to substitute values to match what is in the workbook with what is in the business area.
When you choose this option however, it displays only the first three business areas you have access to. There is an up and down arrow but no scroll bar implying that these are all the options. However usual windows practice did not apply and the ommitted scroll bar did not mean that all the list was displayed, clicking the down arrow would uncover more business areas.
When I finished sustituting the variables I still got a join error. It was taking too much time so I got username and password of the account where the workbook was created. -
How can I apply a timestretch to different null objects and then use them to parent layers?
I am using several hundred stills which are held on screen for different lengths of time. Is there a way to create null objects with various timestretch values and then use them to parent my stills?
I'm trying to find an equivalent to the 'paste attributes' function in Final Cut Pro.

AIf you have movement on the stills you can set up expressions based on in and out points. That's what I do. I then drop all my stills in order into a comp then set the out point for all stills for the longest duration. I then set group colors for layers that I want to make different lengths, do a group select and then adjust the out points for those layers. When I'm done I sequence the layers using the keyframe assistant.
The other way I work is to use an audio track with markers for timing. I have an expression that reads the markers and sets opacity for the layers based on pairs of markers. The motion is also controlled by expressions. That's an even faster way to set up an animated slide show.
The last way I work is just to set in an out points for all layers, sequence the layers, use expressions to do the motion and then use time remapping on a pre-comp to adjust the timing of the slide show. All methods are quick and easy.
Here's a fly in bounce and then drop out fxx preset that will give you an idea of how expressions based on in and out point work for slide shows. You just drag the layer to it's resting position, apply the animatiokn preset and the layer flys in, bounces, and then drops out the bottom of the comp. Works in 2D and 3D space. -

"This disk needs to be repaired. Start up your computer with another disk (such as your Mac OS X installation disc), and then use Disk Utility to repair this disk."
Stick the disk in, reboot holding c.
Disk Utility is a menu option about the 2 or 3rd screen in the installer. (don't install OS X!)
Because your booted form the installer disk, you can repair the disk.
Quit and exit the installer and reboot.
If your drive is not repaired, make a note of all what it says, for Apple to use.
Reboot and get your files off to a external drive,
Take the note and your comptuer to Apple for a warranty/Apple care call, they will replace the drive. -
Is it possible to break an edit into small scenes, and then sew them together, but without losing quality by using the 'publish and share' options?

What is important here is that you know the properties of your source file(s), set the project preset to match the properties of those source files, and then export with settings as close as possible to the original. Often you can do this without noticing quality differences in the export.
I am understanding and defining your issue as you wanting to maintain the quality of the original imported files in the export. If that is the case, the please supply the following, and I will give you a step by step
a. What are the properties of your source files (including bitrate). Here I am looking for
video compression
audio compression
frame size
frame rate
interlaced or progressive
pixel aspect ratio
file extension
A quick way to get that type of information is knowing the brand/model/settings for the camera that recorded the video.
2. Based on that information we can set manually a project preset to match those source property.
3. When we go to export...example Publish+Share/Computer/ and your choice and its preset, we can customize the preset selected
under the Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab of that preset in order to try for the best possible match between the properties of the
original file and the properties of the export.
But, please let us know if you also need help in trimming the original import at the Timeline level prior to export.
Your mention of Publish+Share suggest that you are working with Premiere Elements 11, 12, or 13. What is the computer operating system?

What are the steps to make it seamless for a customer to use the install program and then use the installed program?

You don't have to format the card in the router. You can do that on your PC. Just format the CF-card as FAT32 and plug it into the ASA.
BUT: If you just want to "upgrade" the old card with a different one, then first attach the original card from the ASA to your PC and copy all files (including the hidden ones) to your PC and then copy them back to the new card. That way you also move your licenses to the new card which are stored in hidden files and your private data like keys. -
iTunes: I just redeemed a gift card in iTunes and then rented a movie. I want it charged to the gift card but think that it was charged to my credit card. How do I ensure the charges are against the gift card?

On the top left of my computer screen there are what look like the bottom half of small grey and white squares stacked on top of each other. They form a line about three inches horizontally along the top and they cover half of the regualr bar (so half of the apple sign int he corner is covered) and I cant seem to get rid of them. What OS are you using and what version of Safari?
If you want to check your HDD, Open Disk Utilities>First Aid and run Verify and Repair.
The only remedy that I can think of that may work is an OS reinstall.
I seriously doubt that your MBP is being hacked.

I want to be able to use airplay to stream audio to another iOS device, and then use that audio stream to be used when recording video instead of the built in microphone / microphone input. Is this possible?
A third-party app probably cannot obtain a stream from another app. To the best of my knowledge, such a capability is not provided in the software development kit, apps being "sandboxed" from each other and so allowed to communicate only in very specific and limited ways.
I'm not completely sure what you mean by "limitations on video capture". An iPhone, to the best of my knowledge, can natively record video only through it's built-in camera, and audio while doing video recording only through the built-in microphone or mic/headphone jack. There might be a video recording app that would allow audio input from an external device connected to the dock connector, but I'm not sure.

Is it possible to reinstall Mac OS X Lion on MacBook and then use Time Machine to restore to the previous backup I made before reinstalling Mac OS X Lion?
My MacBook was not normally booting up. It would turn on, make the Apple startup noise, and the bottom loading bar would progress just a little bit, then my MacBook would shut down. I tried rebooting it many times and the same thing would happen, it would just shut down. Then, I read that I can reset the PRAM (by holding Option+Command+P+R after the Apple startup noise comes). That worked, but now I get a screen that asks me to choose one of the 4 options (see: http://images.macworld.com/images/article/2012/07/lionrecoveryutilities-289404.j pg). I choose Restore From Time Machine Backup, but it progresses to 17.6% and gets stuck there forever. I tried doing it again, and it got stuck at 17.6% again. That is why I am asking if I should just reinstall Lion, then restore a previous backup on the fresh new Lion?

You need to resync you applications or redownload them for free via app store. They may be read by your phone, but they are really not there. Re downloading will fix this.
