'Select Employees' setting under Team Calendar
Hi,
Question. I am configuring the above item in the backend for portal. I have managed to get teh team calendar out in ESS - Leave Request and MSS-Team calendar using the following config:-

Hi Experts,
We have implemented Team calendar in ESS for Leave request application as well as in MSS.
And we required direct report employees list only should display under ESS/MSS team calendar workset
Direct report employees are only 8 to that manager but in ESS/MSS team workset including these 8 total 15 employees are displaying.

You can change how the employees are displayed. In the standard system, the Formatted Name of Employee or Applicant is displayed. You can, for example, also display the personnel number or use a different format for the name.

Good morning,
I am attempting to replace the older iViews (leaverequestapprover and teamcalendar) with the newer iView (approveleaverequest) which seems to combine the two functions.
When implementing the approveleaverequest iView, I get the following mesaage "No Team setup for the user in the selection period. Contact Administrator."
However, looking at the older Team Calendar iView, teamcalendar, I can see the team. Both iViews are assigned to the Team page for comparison.
Not sure what's wrong but I'm confident I have all the configuration correct else the test team members wouldn't be appearing in the older iView. I've read some other unanswered posts that asked the same question and rechecked all the objects people had suggested.
What's even more puzzling, if I have one of my managers submit a leave request to their manager, the approveleaverequest iView will show the entire team with the leave request for the manager waiting for approval.
I'm stumped and could use some guidance on how to get the team calendar to work.

MSS Team Calendar available for Employees
Hello Colleagues,
We have a requirement to make the "Team Calendar" available to employees view own team data.
Is that possible using just customization and/or iview changes? Or it requires development?
Another solution we've been thinking is creating a "Team User" and assign it to the MSS role in the Portal, and put it in the same hierarchical level as the Team Manager is, and give this user access to the team, in order to make the employees able to see the team calendar whenever they need by logging in as "Team User".
Any comment or suggestion is appreciated.

Main Calendar and Contacts wont show in thier respective selected group boxes under "sync with outlook".

Team calendar on ESS shows no data for employee
Hi ,
We are converting to webdynpro leave request from old ITS leave req.
when I click on the team calendar from an employee ID , I dont see any data of the team with in the same org. unit. It shows me a blank table.
From a manager view, I get a graphics rendering problem , which of course, I think can be resolved.
But can somebody help me to understand the problem from the employee side. why is it not displaying any data of the same org. unit members.
Appreciate a quick response on this.

mode: T Team view mode
Group of Org view: ESS_LEA_EE
Group: Adhoc.

Team Calendar Iview showing all employees absent for every day?
Hi All,
We're using r/3 4.7, ESS 50.4 and MSS 60.1.20. The team calendar displays with all employees absent for every day. Clearly, this is not correct.
Is there extra config to be done or something that we are missing?

Team Calendar in ESS Leave Request (Error)
Hello,
we are configuring the Leave request in ESS and MSS in the portal (EP 7.0, ECC 6.0, latest release). The Leave Request process and application, Time accounts and Workflows all working fine and the customizing is done in the IMG.
Only under ESS -> Leave Request -> Team Calendar we are getting this Error:

1. First of all make sure that the Internet Graphic Server is activated + up and running on your SAP ERP System (see also SAP Note 704604)
2. Then you have to set the Customizing Parameters for the Team Calendar in IMG (SAP ERP System):
a. Tcode: PTARQ -> Customizing
b. Working Time -> Team Calendar
c. Node Create Rule Group -> Example: 00000001 (SAP Standard)
d. Node Adjust WEBMO Feature -> Assign all Nodes to your Rue Group
e. Node Spec. Absecne to be displayed -> Here i assume you have set up the Leave Request Process and WF already, so you only need to assign this to your Rule Group:
Example.
00000001 SAP Standard 01 0100 Leave 01.01.1800 31.12.9999
f. Node Select Employee -->
Here you need to set the Group of your Employee which should be displayed in the team calendar:

I've done the customization for team calendar is spro settings. When the Manager logs in on ESS, he is not able to see the employees reporting to him. What settings I'm missing? I've used one rule group & in that I've assigned team view mode to view grp & used grp of organisation as MSS_LTV_EE.Hi Sandeep,

Dear all,
I have got a problem with display of team calendar.
The categories of absences don't display in calendar. The employees are selected correctly.
I made all the steps of customazing.
-Create Rule groups
-Specify Absences to be displayed
-Specify Color Display of absences
I don't use any BADI. My version portal is 7 SP 18 and ECC 6.0 stack 16.

I dont remember the exact auth object but ask security team to apply trace for the user id and identify the same.
Also i would suggest you to check following setting before checking authorizations-
Get the Group of Organizational Views applicable for rule group in your case from following path
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide--> Personnel Management-->Manager Self-Service (Web Dynpro ABAP)--> Service Specific Settings-->Working Time--> Team Calendar--> Select Employees:
After getting Group of Org View Check the Evaluation path used in OADP configuration.
Please check if the evaluation path is correct as per your requirement.

MSS Team Calendar - Direct Report
Dear All,
We are on EP7 and using the web dynpro Team Calendar. The client have requested that in one of the view, it only display the direct employee for the manager (A002 relationship). Anybody knows how to configure the "evaluation path" and the "rule for target object to cater this request".

How to extend team calendar level subordinates to manager

Upon go-live our company has decided to use standard SAP ESS/MSS config. However after 3 months of implementation
our manager has problem to see staff absences using team calendar. Current standard ESS/MSS allow manager
to see all the staff under his organization only.It means the manager only can see one level sub-ordinates staff.
Now, we have decided to allow manager to see 2 level of subordinates.Appreciate your assistance to help me to config this

EHP5 Team calendar to view direct reports
Dear All,
Can anyone help, Currently I have made the settings in IMG and the team view in team calendar is icking up the employees in the Same Organisation unit. The requirement is to pick the Direct reports. In all the help documents it says to select ESS_LEA_EE_DIR options in the drop down in table "V_ptreq_team" however this option is not avilable in the f4 list. Is there another setting i have to maintain before doing this step?

Team calendar works on evaluation path to display the employees
Please check the table V_ptreq_team for Leave request which uses

Problem with Team Calendar from Create Leave Request
Hi Expert,
We are facing following 2 issues with Team Calendar-
1) When manager checks Team Calendar from create leave request he gets a warning message 'No team set up for the user in the selection period.Contact Administrator'
I know this issue has been reported earlier as well but i didn't find the thread where it has been answered correctly.
- OADP configuration is correct.
- Manager is head of org unit.
- Also IT105 exist for manager as well as employees.
We are currently checking on authorization side for this.
2) Team Calendar is showing leave details only for the current month. If we navigate to previous month it does not show anything even though there exist leave data for the given month.
Please suggest if we are missing something.
