Select multiple pictures and Rotate

This is very frustrating. Pay hundreds for a pro program and it won't perform a task that iPhoto does all day. I highlight a group of photos and try to rotate either using the menu or the tool bar and it rotates one picture (the last). Just unacceptable.
Any help would be appreciated.

You likely have turned on "Primary only". Information about this useful tool is found in the Help file which comes with Aperture and also provided on-line:

It is possible there is some other reason you cannot rotate all currently selected images. I can assure you it works.

Are these connected clips? Probably not at this stage.
If they were connected, and you wanted to shorten each one, the way to do that is to make the connected clips a secondary storyline and then shorten them. The magnetic storyline will pull them up next to each other.

Select the first image. Then Command-Click on each additional image you want to select as part of a group.
If you are using List mode, you can click on the first, then Shift-Click on the last, and all the files between the first and the last will also be selected.
Command-Click will still work to add additional non-sequential, or to remove items from the list already selected.

Selecting Multiple Pictures

When selecting pictures in Photoshop Elements you can use Shift Mouse click, Ctrl Mouse click, or just mouse click to select one. As most of you know when you select multiple pictures using the Ctrl mouse click, by about the 57th picture your control finger gets tired or even worst you accidently do a drag and now you just copied those 57 pictures.
Is there a more efficient way to select multiple pictures? Say to copy to a memory card for an electronic picture frame. Or is the only way the same way it has been done in windows since 1990?   Maybe adding a check box next to the pictures would help.   Am I missing something is there an easier way?

I am not trying to open 57 files.   I am selecting 57 files to copy to a memory card.   I then take that memory card to my electronic photo frame for display. There are other reasons to select multiple non sequential images. To put on DVD or to make a slide show. But for some reason Adobe does not see this. All they have to do is add a check box by the photo, so you can select random pictures and then perform some action on those pictures.   This shift select and ctrl select started in 1990 with windows 3.0, let's move on. If Adobe is going to charge so much for their software without providing an upgrade discount, at least they can make the software more user friendly.
Make it easy to post photos on social pages, easy to share via thumb drive or memory card.   Make it easy to load pictures onto picture frames and portable devices. Adobe there is a world outside your doors, get with it. Also stop asking if I want an Adobe ID every time I start the software. I don't need your marketing crap built into software I purchase from you.
Adobe you used to be a decent company.   You have become self absorbed, blind, business men locked up in your offices with no idea what is going on out here.   It all started when you removed Adobe Audition from the Premiere CS3 suite. You took on an attitude from that point on. An attitude that you can ignore the customer and demand whatever you want. Is there a way to select MULTIPLE tabs and then copy ALL of the the URLs and titles/or URLs+titles+HTML links? This can be done with the Multiple Tab Handler add on; However, I prefer to use a Firefox feature rather than download an add on. Thanks.

Currently, I can copy ONE tab's url and nothing else (not its name). Or I can bookmark all tabs that are open. However, I'd like to have the ability to select multiple tabs and then copy ALL of the the URLs AND their titles/or copy ALL of the URLs+titles+HTML links? You should definitely be able to upload multiple files by Shift-clicking or Ctrl-clicking the files you want to upload. Just to make sure you don't have an old version of the service cached, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. After clicking the File Upload icon in the upper-right corner, you should be able so select multiple files for upload.

How do i select multiple steps and move them?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to select multiple steps and move them all into a branch of a condition outcome. Here's the thing, I have almost completed my workflow with several steps for dynamic approval, however, i need to put a condition at the very start of the workflow and it does not seem that there is an easy way to move all of the steps into one branch. I find the workflow explorer really clumsy in this respect. Is it easier to just drag one outcome of the condition, say to the very end of the workflow? It does not seem to work for me though...hmmm...

Funtion Module 'SWD_GET_WORKFLOW_DEFINITION ' gives the structure of the Workflow definition. The informations are stored in following table.
1. SWDSTEXT -> Table which gives WF Steps and descriptions
2. SWDSBINDEF --> Binding information is stored in this table
3. SWDSMNODES -> All nodes information is stored in this table
4. SWDSMLINES -> Workflow lines are stored in this table.
SWDSMLINES and SWDSMNODES are important tables for current requirement. By changing SWDSMLINES the bulk copy and paste can be incorporated. But this is very very risky, better to have a backup of workflow definition before doiing anything.

How do I select multiple songs and uncheck them from compilations (itunes 10.5.2)

So I found to my annoinance that itunes has recently moved much of my music to compilations that shouldn't be there. I tried searching online for how to turn compilations off or select multiple songs and uncheck them from compilations all at once and although I found both answers, they must have only worked for older versions of itunes. I no longer can find the option to turn off compilations under preferences and when I try to select multiple songs at a time then press "Get Info" the "part of a compilation" checkmark is not there. It is only there when one song is highlighted. This is very frustrated. In fact I would venture to say I've never been so angry with Apple. There are 609 songs "stuck" in my freaking compilations! I don't have time nor should I have to take the time to go through every single song right clicking it, pressing "Get info", unchecking "part of compilation" then clicking ok. WAY TOO MUCH TIME! If anyone has any good news on a faster way to do this I'd be VERY THANKFUL!

You could use Automator to do this - take a look at the article at http://www.wikihow.com/Batch-Rename-Files-in-Mac-OS-X-Using-Automator to see how this might be done.

Is it possible to select multiple clips and create a sequence from each individually? If you select multiple clips and select "New Sequence from Clip" it puts all of the clips into one sequence. Is there an easy way to quickly perform this on multiple selected clips separately?

So now I *have* used Butler with PPro, and it works very well, here's an idea of how to do it:
Import folder of clips
Ensure first clip selected in bin and sorted by Media Type
Most of these commands need shortcuts assigning - mine listed below
Macro:
To create seq from selected clip:
‘New seq from clip’ (Shift+CMD+N)
To duplicate this seq:
‘Reveal Sequence in project’ (Shift+F) - not strictly necessary as it will already be selected
‘Window | Project’ (CMD+9)
‘Edit | Duplicate’ (Shift+CMD+/)
To rename the duplicate
‘Enter’
Various keystrokes to rename as required
‘Enter’ - to make name stick
‘Shift+Enter’ - to reselect that sequence
‘Esc’ - to get out of editing name
To change resolution of duplicate:
‘Sequence Settings’ (CMD+5)
‘Tab’ x 3 (to get to H Frame Size)
‘xxxx’ (to enter frame width)
‘Tab’ x 1 (to get to V Frame Size)
‘yyyy’ (to enter frame height
‘Enter’ x 2 as prompt will say previews will have to be deleted
To then find next clip ready for macro to run again:
‘Open in Timeline’ (Shift+CMD+O)
‘Match Frame’ (Shift+Spacebar)
‘Reveal in Project’ (Shift+CMD+F)
‘Window | Project’ (CMD+9)
‘Down Arrow’ - to select next clip
I tried it with Butler (manytricks.com - free trial, $20 to buy) and it worked a treat, takes about 3 secs per clip
AHK (for windows) is at autohotkeys.com and is free.
You could start making multiple macros - that would enable you to do grade / resize in middle of duplication - and then export etc, but I figure you can figure that out ;-)

I am having to select multiple layers and their sublayers in Illustrator 2014, but taking the procedure described in the post below only lets you select multiple "main layers" with the sublayers left unselected.

Would someone please explain how both layers and sublayers can be selected in the Layers panel?

I believe it is a matter of implicit selection, which may be a bit diconcerting.
You may try this:
1) Create a (small) number of layers with sublayers (or use the set yopu have), and tick Paste Remembers Layers;
2) ShiftClick first and last (relevant) and Ctrl/Cmd+C;
3) Create a new document and Ctrl/Cmd+F.
Is anything missing (obviously, everything copied has been selected)?

Hi - I am unable to select and rotate more than one photo at a time. I select multiple photos using the shift key, or the command key. All the photos are outlined, with the final one having a more pronounced outline. But when I click rotate, or select rotate from the photos drop down menu, only the last or most highlighted pic rotates. Am I missing something?

Beneath the bottom right of the Viewer, second from the right, there is a button that that I think you will find to be slightly gray, and if you mouse over it, it will say "Primary Only". Click that, and all you select will now be rotated. This setting is often most useful as "Primary Only", but not always.

Is there a way to select multiple sequences and batch export them using the same settings in CS6?

I am a current Final Cut Pro7 user and looking to switch over to Premiere Pro CS6. We edit approx. 100 short (15 sec.) videos daily, and then select them all at the end of the day and batch export them over night using the same export recipe for all. I have having trouble finding an easy way to do this in Premiere pro CS6, as command +E is grayed out if i select more than one sequence at a time.
so far, it appears that i have to select each video individually and manually set encoding recipe and export location for each.... Not only would this be terribly time consuming, but it leaves a lot of room for error and missed videos. I thought i would be able to send all of the sequences to Adobe Media Encoder, but i dont see that option either.
Any suggestions/

Open Media Encoder and add your Sequences:
File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence
Navigate to your Premiere Project and select it in the list.
You can then select multiple Sequences from the Project (Ctrl+Click)
and load them all at once into Media Encoder and apply
the same encoding preset to all Sequences at the same time.
