Select tag - get the text by the vlaue
Hi,
Does anyone know how to retrieve the text of an option by the value?
I have a <select> list and I have a value. I would like to get the text of that value WITHOUT selecting that vlaue.
I would expect something like: dd.options["code"].value

After upgrading the new operating system on my Droid Razr M it seems some useful features no longer work such as when typing a message the text anticipates the next word and when trying to delete individual messages from a contact, you can no longer tap and hold to select multiple message you have to delete them individually or the entire thread. Is there a way to get these back?

As expected, cdm-git also works fine since DMs only work in the root mode as of now.
Just for the record, both type commands output "/usr/bin/startx" and pacman -Q gives "systemd 215-4".

we have created a new query by copy of existing query. iwe have changed only the sales area in the filter.
when we run the original query in japan language, getting japan text for the material where as for the new query it is not getting japan text.
we have extracted text masterdata for sales area but when we run the query it is not displaying material description in japan language.
how to get text for the material in the new query?

What is the output for text filed you are getting as of now?
Check the properties of the material in old query?
Generate the query in tcode RSRT and execute and check.
Check if the Display as properties is selected as "Key and Text".
try to replace it back(sales area) in filters and check in new query - if u are getting the desired output or not.

The easiest is to use the reporttext.
In a post expression, you can use something like
Step.Result.ReportText = Evaluate("Step.Button" + Str(Step.Result.ButtonHit) +"Label")
and then the default report generation will include it in the report. Otherwise, you need to get the text into the Resultlist by various means (check the user manual, or the TestStand II customisation course) and handle the report generation yourself inside of the appropriate sequence in the process model.

in a document with several sections, in section VIII and IX one cannot select the text of the page foot nor set the pointer in it; so, one cannot write nor change the page foot text. Please help!

It's a bug striking in long documents.
Select a word somewhere higher in the page then use the arrows to reach the wanted insertion point.

How do I get old texts from the Cloud

Not an option. In Windows you can change display characteristics to increase text size but that would affect all applications not just PSE (you'll also probably need to select 'Use System Font' in Edit> Preference> General)

I just installed DVD Studio Pro 2 in a Power Book G4 Lap but I cant see subtitle text typing after doble click a new subtitle. I see the text that I am typing in the Inspector Window but the grew square in the Monitor Window seemes empty. Once I finished the subtitle I can run the video and the subtitle appears in color, font and size chosen. Creating the next subtitle I can even go to the one before click once over the subtitle, then click above to get the videoline tool over the subtitle and I will see the subtitle in the Monitor and editing the text in the Inspector I can see the changes in the Monitor. But as soon as I doble click the grew square appears and the text dissapears. Sin doubt the text is there because I can select the invisible text with "Apple"+"A", and then change fonts and sizes and it works. In Color settings I tried every posible combination of Mapping types, color and opacity. In DVD Preference I checked the subtitle settings. The monitor text defaults work perfectly and double clicking texts in the Monitor window where a grew sqaure appears and the text is visible just works correctly. Somebody can help? Do I need to change some configuration in the LAP?

I recently upgraded the iTunes software to 10.2.2.12 on my Windows XP laptop. Since then, iTunes stopped displaying the Summary info
, the text on the buttons, the various drop down options. The buttons seem to be working but I can't tell what that button is supposed to do
or the option I am selecting. This is preventing me from syncing my photos to the laptop.
this was not a problem with the previous version of iTunes.
Actions taken :
- I tried downloading iTunes again and repairing the install. That did not fix it.
- Don't want to uninstall it as I am worried that I would lose all the songs and the purchases etc.
1. Has anyone encountered this ?
2. Is there a solution for this ?

Yeah it does, although the problem predates version 10.2.2.12. It's been around since earlier-on in the version 10s (at least).
It's usually Segoe UI font trouble on the Windows 7 systems too. Unfortunately, the Vortical troubleshooting technique only works on XP and Vista systems, so dealing with the issue on a Windows 7 system is trickier. (There's a bunch of different possible issues relating to the fonts that could be in play, and so the treatment tends to depend on which issue in particular you've got with the Segoe_UI fonts.)

How do I left justify the text in the tabs of a JTabbedPane.
In 1.3.1 this used to work by supplying an HTML string with <div align="left"> but when I run with 1.4.1 this is now broken and I get center justification.
Does anybody know a way to get the text in the tabs to be left justified.

PhilipFirst, I found while using JTabbedPane that the "standard" behavior is to allow to a tab the exact space needed to display the tab text. Hence with this behavior, there is actualy no difference of "left" or "center" aligned text. So I assumed that you found a way or another to make your tabs wider than the "string width"...
Here is a solution:
