I have a big problem, I hope someone can help me.
I create a new Row with the code
Row r = myVo.createRow(); And set values with
r.setAttribute("attr", attrValue);How can I select the current row in this view Object ??

whenever I selects different row page gets postback and selects
the first row again and there is no way to trap posback event in JSF
like ASP.NET

How to Select the Current Row When Using af:iterator?

Hello all,
I encounter the following problem when using af:iterator to display data from
a View Object:
When trying to display the content of a row via a popup, only the first row is
returned no matter which row is selected. So a selection of the current row
should exist or some other method which should allow the access to the
current row.
The af:table has a selectionListener attribute which permit to achieve this.
Does anyone know about some similar attribute or some method for
selecting the current row when the af:iterator is used?

I would be interested in the answer to this basic question as well. I cannot get the selected row value of an attribute in an iterator for a view if I simply set-up a attribute binding to the iterator. It seems that this should be possible. I've had no other option but to obtain the current row and the related attributes programmatically. This works fine, but if there is a more elegant option, then I'd certainly like to use it.

this is tricky because it involves manual coding. You would need to add a radio button. You would use

in an extra column and define the group attribute so all rows participate in a single select case. The, when you select a group you need to fire a change event that allows you to determine which radio button is clicked. Based on this information you select the current row in the table. I didn't code this, but this is how I would do it. As said, gows with some coding especially when you nedd to synchronize the radio button with the selction users do by directly clicking into the table

Editable columns in table don't select the whole row

I am new to the forums and posted this to the wrong one the first time and I am not sure how to move it so I am just reposting it here. Sorry.
I have a table with 7 columns. 2 of them are non-editable and the rest are either radio buttons or check boxes. When I click on the 2 non-editable columns, the whole row gets highlighted. When I click on any of the editable columns, the button is selected, but the whole row is not highlighted. If I made the editable columns non-editable then the whole row gets highlighted when the column is clicked on. I want the button selected and the row highlighted when the editable columns are clicked on. Here is some relevant code:

Unable to select the created Ports(greyed out) in the import manager

Hi ,
We have created some ports with specific Remote system and XML schema's and also assigned the map to it.
The processing type is manual for now,since we want to load data manually using import manager from the Ready folder of the port since PI is dropping the files there.But when I load import manager and select the file type as "Port" and also the relevant remote system ,I cannot select any of the list of ports created ,All are greyed out.
All I need is to select "Port" option ,remote system and use the created port from the dropdown list of import manager " connect to source" step,which i am unable to select as all the port s are greyed out and unable to select.
Any help greatly appreciated...

Hello Arvind,
There is no need to start the MDIS (Import server) if you are importing the data manually.you just open the import manager, login into the repository and select type as XML as per your case and select the remote system (it depends on your requirement) and select the port on which your xml files resides.and enter in the import manager then map you data accordingly and you can import into the repository.
when you want to automate the process for importing the data in repository then you will need to Start the import Server. In that case import server automatically pick the file from the ready port folder and also set the property in console as the processing type is Automatic.

Presenting/Selecting the "result rows" in a query

Here is a description of my problem:
I have a query which returns values for materials grouped by purchasing groups:
Group 1 Material A KyeFigure
Group 1 Material B KyeFigure
Result: KyeFigure
Group 2 Material C KyeFigure
Group 2 Material D KyeFigure
Result: KyeFigure
I'm using a Web application designer chart to present the values graphically. I would like only to present the result rows in the chart, not item values. But since the chart picks all KFs presented in the table (items as well) this is not the case. I've tried to find a way in the chart-settings without any luck - it seems not possible. The documentation states that you're supposed to design your table the way you want it to show in the chart. However, I'm not allowed to redesign the cube or the report. It is not possible to drill up characteristics either (this affects the calculation).
My question is: Is there a way to extract the result rows into a new table and then base my chart on that one or simply somehow present only the result rows in a chart?

Hi Daniel,
You can create the query view in BEx Analyzer. After you execute the query, use filters, drill downs etc to get to the exact "view" of data that you would like you chart to present. Save this query view. Then in your web template assign this query view as the data provider.

If I have 4 tables - Building, Dept, Emp, Text

A 2 H blah6
B 1 K blah7
B 1 L blah8
B 2 E blah9
B 2 F blah0
I need a query that will bring back the first bit of text for each pair of building and dept records.
So the results I would get would be
A 1 blah1
A 2 blah4
B 1 blah7
B 2 blah9
blah2 wouldnt be returned, because we have already had a record from the Building A, dept 1 pairing.
Likewise we wouldnt get blah5 because we have already had a record from the Building A, dept 2 pairing.
Can this be done in 1 query??

How to display a table without selecting the first row as default ?

How to select the of rows seelct list from interactive search bar of intera

Iam using apex 3.2 x
I need select list value into my item :no_rows .
How to take that value dyanamically.

You can get value using JavaScript
$v('apexir_NUM_ROWS')If you need set value to your item session state.
You can do e.g.

How do I select the end of a row or column in Numbers?

I am trying to select to the end of a column in Numbers. In Excel, I simply hold down the shift+command+arrow keys and I can select the entire row or column int he arrow direction. How do I do this in Numbers?

Here two other scripts :
Select-to-top and select-to-left.
Both of them take care of possible headers.

How do I set only the first row of a DataGrid as the selected row?

I have a "Go" button on a search form that fetches data into an already data bound grid. After the data is fetched, I want to make the first row in the Datagrid the selected row, as if the user clicked on it. If the result set is empty, I don't want the code to crash. (I only want one row to be able to be selected at a time)

Error in Step 4.5 of the create page

Hi all,
In running the CREATE PAGE applications... At Step 4.5 On debugging at this step the Search page opens but on clickin on the Create Employee details it returns an error page as follows.....
