Selecting "Information" gives Quicktime popup window. What's wrong?

I am using a freshly installed copy of Pages (from App Store) on a MacBook Pro 13" (2011). The first operation after startup already fails. When I select "Information" (via icon or menu) I get the popup window belonging to Quicktime featuring (translated from German) "Start/Stop", "Title image", "Repeat", "Volume", and "Control", but no facilities to set the page format.
What can I do to make the software useable?

Why are you using a script to load the movie? Why not just
embed it in the
page 'normally' like you have on the other popups? But do it
properly so
they will play in IE6. They do play in Firefox, though. All
except the "24"
one.

When popup windows open in Encore I am unable to select within that window

Encore 5.5, for instance. . . .I got to file, dynamic link, import sequence and a pop up window comes up. I am unable to select anything within that popup window to tell encore where to find the files I need. This is the case with ANY popup window when working within encore.
HELP!!

No idea in terms of Encore as such. No problems in other programs?
Try another mouse? In another USB port if USB?
I can confirm that in the new project window, for example, you cannot tab or arrow between fields. If your mouse can't select, you're stuck. Same for dynamic link.
Did you use the cleaner tool when uninstalling?
I am not sure if reinstalling Encore necessarily recreates the preferences file. I would try this in any event. "Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys while choosing Start > Programs > Adobe Encore <version number>. Release the keys after several seconds. The application will not start at this point, but the preferences file will be deleted." The more complete instructions are here at #12:

None of that will matter, of course, if it is a mouse/mouse driver issue.

How to get the values from popup window to mainwindow

HI all,
   I want to get the details from popup window.
      i have three input fields and one search button in my main window. when i click search button it should display popup window.whenever i click on selected row of the popup window table ,values should be visible in my main window input fields.(normal tables)
   now i am able to display popup window with values.How to get the values from popup window now.
   I can anybody explain me clearly.

Hi Kranthi,
Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.

Ambiguous label translation on attachment download popup window in cn-ZH(Ver:29.0.1 )

I do have select my location as "China" then aks question but don't know why here I am. Anyway, I just want notice that there is a ambiguous label in atachment download popup window: "哪个是" what in English would be "which is". And I think "类型" or "文件类型" would be better.

Anyone know what's wrong with my audio jack?

So I've had this computer for about 2 years now, got this when I graduated High School now I'm going into my junior year of college. Out of the time that I've had it I had to replace the hard drive once, and nowadays the headphone jack is giving me some sort of strange feedback. I read other posts regarding systems preferences regarding headphones and it works just fine. The weird thing is that whenever I plug my headphones in to the audio jack, I receive a lot of unnecessary feedback. I'll hear buzzing, static, and my sound is all the way at max volume but it sounds as if it's at the minimum. Whenever I jiggle my headphones the static gets louder, but that doesn't seem to solve the problem or give an idea to what's wrong.
Props to anyone if they know whatever's going on with my stuff. Thanks

RE: Getting multiple values from more than one multiple select popup window

I have a button on a JSP of mine that when clicked creates a popup window (right now it is called popup.html) with a multiple select menu.
My question is how do I get all the values selected from the menu into my JSP (sample.jsp) so that I can set each of the values for my bean.
The other problem is that I have more than one select multiple menu.
Please help if you can. Any advice or suggestions here would be greatly appreciated!

I realize that I can use request.getParameterValues to get the values selected from my html because I am passing them to the hidden inputs I have and then using the request.getParameterValues to get each of the values.

How to create a button to get File Open popup window and select a file

I have an applet that contains Browse button. When user clicks on that, a File Open popup window should be displayed to enable user to select the input file. This file path should be given back as parameter.
How to do this? I have tried using LoadFileData but not able to get the desired result.

Do you need only the path or also the file back into Siebel?
If you need both, the have a look at any attachment applet, that will give you a good start.
Are you using Siebel in High Interactivity (HI) Mode or Standard Interactivity (SI) Mode?
If you are in SI Mode have a look at the html type

How to create popup window for data selection in maintenance view. For example when you go to view v_t510 in se16, there you will see a popup window to enter values. after you enter the values in that window, then data related to those values that you entered in the popup window will displayed.
How can we do that for the custom maintenance view?

In your custom maintainace view, if you select the Data browser / Table view maintainace under the tab "Maint Status" as "Dispaly maintanence allowed with restriction" than system will give you popup to restrict by selection.

AVI is a legacy file container originated by Microsoft back in 1992 and which has not been officially supported for more than a decade. Like the container, many of the codecs commonly used to create AVI content are also "legacy" compression formats most often supported on PC/Windows platforms. In fact, some codecs have never been transcoded for Mac use. Of those that have, many never made the transition to Mac OS X or the transition to Intel-based platforms. Those codecs that are still supported on the Mac can normally be found in the avi to quicktime converter available as an online download. While some common AVI compression formats may be supported by the QT X Player app, QT 7 currently provides a more compatible AVI playback environment for most "legacy" compression formats. If the codec(s) used in your AVI files are not supported by the avi to quicktime converter for QT use, you can try the VLC media player which may still support more esoteric compression formats. If VLC does not support the files, the normal approach is to discover which specific audio and/or video codecs were used to create the file and perform an Internet search to see if a compatible Mac component is available for download.

Select which view to show in a popup window

in my WD4A application I have several popup windows. So I have created one window with one view for every such purpose (and call them via if_wd_window_manager->create_window).
My question: Is it possible to create one (generic) window, attach all possible views to it and select the view I want to load during call of the popup window (maybe via an inbound plug)?

what you can do is prepare window set one view as a default......now in wdoinit of window you fire a outbound plug (linked to inbound of different views) depending on your check it will navigate to desired view.. this is what we have done in EHP's also...where depending on switch state we navigate to old or new views..

Firing a view based on a selection from a popup window

Hi,
I have a main window in which there is "Display Details" button and a view container to hold a view. On clicking this display button I'm showing a pop-up window which will show the user the options to select a particular view. After the selection and clicking on OK in the pop up window the corresponding view should be shown the view container.
I tried this by firing an outboung plug to the corresponding view based on the selection in the popup window. The problem is I cannot create a navigation link in the window as the popup view is not part of the main window.
Could you please provide me your insights on how to handle this scenario?
