Selecting items in Classic View

I must have done something to modify my settings because I'm havaing difficulty selecting items in a DW document on the design side in classic view. I don't know what setting I've changed but when I try to select an inserted media item within a spry, I'm only able to select the entire spry on not the contents. Any ideas?

It's possible that your CSS has applied an "overflow:hidden" style to the container within which you are trying to select items (this is to manage any floats within that container). What happens if you double click on the item you are trying to select?

Try deleting this file. com.apple.finder.plist
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that file from the Preferences folder to the Trash, empty the Trash and restart your Mac.
See if that helps. If not.. delete this file as well. com.apple.Preview.plist

We are using SRM5.0 with CCM2.0 and when I tried to assign items to view for procurement catalog's by selecting the category,receiving error message as "select atleast one row",please advice me on the same to resolve this error.

Hi Venkata,
Once you navigate through the categories you will be presented with items within these categories on the right hand 'Items' frame, you need to select the items you wish to present in the view from here and once marked/selected choose the 'Assign' button which will assign those selected items to the view. It is not possible to assign a category to a view, if you want all items within a category assigned to the view choose the table menu selection 'Slect All' and assign, then all items in this open category will be assigned to the view.

How can a classic report be filtered using one select item and dynamic action?

APEX 4.2.1
DB 11g
I have a page with 4 reports on it. The top report is an interactive report and the following 3 are classic reports. The users would like to be able to use a select list to filter the 3rd report by PO line number without refreshing the entire page.
After verifying that the report is set to allow partial refreshes, I took the following steps
1. Created a PO Line select item (p_po_line_select) in the same report region
2. Added p_po_line_select to the report query
3. Created a dynamic action on p_po_line_select with 2 true actions
     1. Set value (p_po_line_select)
     2. Refresh report region.
The Set Value dynamic step was not working; I would get an out of memory error at line 2, memory stack error, or the value did not get saved to session state depending on the settings I selected. I was able to get it working with the following set:
1. Action = Set Value
2. Set type = PL/SQL Expression
3. PL/SQL Expression = :p_field_does_not_exist
4.   Page items to submit = blank
5. Selection Type = Item(s)
6. Item(s) = p_field_does_not_exist
p_field_does_not_exist does not exist as a page or application item which leads me to believe that this is a bug and I am just lucky that it worked. I would rather know how to do this properly. Can someone please provide a link to a working example of how this should be done or state which settings are wrong?
I was able to reproduce the issue in the following app

SHOW ALL / HIDE ALL BUTTONS produce error in chm but not in "View Selected Item"

My SHOW ALL and HIDE ALL buttons work in the View Selected
Item mode. However, the compiled version generates an error tag:

In short, the the compiled chm is located in the SSL. I tried
adding showhide.js and ehlpDhtm.js to the SSL folder, but that
didn't make a difference. What is missing? How do I fix this?

2) I pasted btnhideall.gif, btnshowall.gif, printerblue.gif
into

I opened the Baggage File > Project (Name) folder,
selected New Baggage File, and added, respectively:

vii. root.fpj
4) I also opened rhbag.apj in Notepad. It shows
a) ehelp.xml and RoboHHRE.Ing accompanied by
<usercreated>false</usercreated> tags
b) the remaining baggage files are accomanied by
<usercreated>true</usercreated> tags
5) Finally, I used Notepad to display two topic files in
which the error message identified a Line: XX. In one case the line
# is 42, in another, 19. In both cases, when I counted lines,
starting with <body>, I ended up on:
onClick="JavaScript:hideEm()"
However, I am none the wiser for my effort and don't know
what (5) might be telling me.
6) The only thing I can think of is that the compiled chm
file is two levels away from the Project Name directory that holds
all the files. The files live in Robohelp 6.0 > Project Name
while the compiled help is found in Robohelp 6.0 > Project Name
> SSL! > MicroSoft_HTML_Help > Project Name.chm.
Should I be adjusting the Relative Path within the topics?

"View Selected Item" does not display

I'm using RoboHelp7 out of the Technical Communication Suite.
When I'm working on a topic and select the
View Selected Item button, the topic does not display. When
I first tried yesterday, nothing happened (IE didn't open and there
was nothing in my tray). I contacted Oversea's support and was
informed that there wasn't an incident for this occurance. I was
instructed to uninstall and reinstall RoboHelp.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the applications and the button
still doesn't work; however, this time there is an hourglass for an
instant before not producing any results.
The button doesn't work with anything that I've created or
with the example projects (Clownfish School). Any help would be
greatly appreciated. I'd hate to have to regenerate the project
just to look at a quick change.

Yeah, sometimes the Preview window likes to perform a
pisadeering act for us!
You might give the following steps a try:
1. Close RoboHelp HTML.
You need to do this because the values we are about to change
will be destructively changed once we close RoboHelp HTML and
restart.
2. Open the Windows Registry Editor.
(All standard disclaimers apply. Back up the registry,
sacrifice a chicken, yadda yadda yadda)
3. Locate the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\version\RoboHTML\version\MontereyFrame\
4. Double click the item labeled Preview in separate window
and ensure the value is set to 1. If it already is, terrific. If
not, change it to 1 and click the OK button. It doesn't matter if
the option is set to Hex or Decimal.
5. Double click the item labeled PreviewMaximized and ensure
the value is set to 0. If it already is, terrific. If not, change
it to 0 and click the OK button. It doesn't matter if the option is
set to Hex or Decimal.
6. Double click the item labeled PreviewWindowCX. Make sure
the option is set to Decimal and set the value to 50. Then click
the OK button.
7. Double click the item labeled PreviewWindowCY. Make sure
the option is set to Decimal and set the value to 50. Then click
the OK button.
8. Double click the item labeled PreviewWindowX. Make sure
the option is set to Decimal and set the value to 50. Then click
the OK button.
9. Double click the item labeled PreviewWindowY. Make sure
the option is set to Decimal and set the value to 50. Then click
the OK button.
10. Close the Windows Registry Editor.
11. Restart RoboHelp HTML and preview a topic.
The window should now be floating above the RoboHelp HTML
application in full view.

When run, the example below shows a Select Many Shuttle with four choices in the leading list. When items are shuttled to the training list and the page is submitted the trailing list is rendered with no items selected. Is this a bug?
Configuration
This example was constructed using jDeveloper 10.1.3.5.0.
A new application was created using the Web Application [JSF, ADF BC] template although no business components are used.
Steps to Reproduce

I'm holding my Nano in my hot little hands with ALL of the things you listed, but here's the sad, simple truth: you CAN'T use iTunes to sync everything. It works well for:
1) Music
2) Videos (except sometimes in Vista)
3) Photos (as long as they're not too large)
but is terrible for:
1) calendar
2) contacts
3) To-Do lists
For the latter use something like "iGadget" (www.ipodsoft.com). I also edit/store notes w/iGadget plus it allows you to export files, etc.
I gave up on syncing iTunes w/Outlook long ago. Good luck.

Could not find selected item in LOV

Item availability for selected items and directly create the delivery

Hi All,
For a very big sales order ..lets say having 700 line items ...is there any convenient way to create the delivery for selected items ..e.g. 30-40 line items rather going and selecting the line items then doing the item availability.
do you have any LSMW format by which we can do the item availability for selected items and directly create the delivery.

Hi ,
There is no stand way of doing it . You need to take help of abaper to do this :
1. Create a t code where if you give sale order number , it displays a report with all the items with a check box near to it as we see in SE16 .
2. This report could be best in ALV form where users can do "ctr+f" and search only the required materials then select those lines and press a button on the top of report .
3. Once the button is pressed , program will run vL01n ( create delv in backgrnd) in a BDC form . At time of delev creating , the bdc program in backgrnd uses only those items which were selected by user and not the other items .
4. Program will create a delv using a BDC in background and return the delv number for user to view tht.
U can also try using FM : RV_DELIVERY_CREATE to create delv in backgrnd after user selection if BDC is getting tricky.
Hopefully ,this shuld work and will be a easy process for the customers.

Display infopath form in listview, select item to populate the form

Hi-
I once used a list where if you selected the list item by clicking a <-> button,it then populated the infopath form on that page. I have a page with two webpart zones, one for the list and one for the related infopath form. How can i connect the webparts,
so when i select a single list entry the infopath form populates?
I cant remember the tutorial i once found, loved this feature.

Hi,
That icon comes up when you connect the InfoPath form web part with the list web part. The view that is displayed on the Infopath web part will populate with the list item selected in the list view. When creating the connection, choose the option to Get
form data from and it will automatically select the Infopath on the page. This is a similar post but done in O365.

Limit on Page-By-Item in Disco Viewer

Hi There.
Is there a limit on page by items on Disco Viewer.
It works fine but as soon as i add more than one page by item no matter the result i select it defaults to <All>

Do you mean that it doesn't filter the data according to the value you selected ?
I am not aware of a limitation on the page items and for sure you can have more than one.
Personally I have seen workbooks running under viewer with more than 5 page items.
What version of viewer do you use? maybe you need to patch it up...

Sourcing: Propose sources for selected items

I am running SRM 7.0 in classic scenario - for now in a demo environment. I try to figure out how the sourcing work if I have contracts.
I creates a central service contract in SRM. This is not replicated to backend at the moment but do it have to be replicated to backend to be proposed as source for my shopping cart in the sourcing cockpit?
I have created a contract in backend (and only in backend) and this is visible in "Propose sources for selected items"
Another issue I have is in the following process.
1. A user creates a SC with a service item (text item)
2. This goes to Purchasers worklist
3. Purchaser creates RFx and select bidders
4. The bidders respond
5. The Purchaser select the best offer and creates a contract.
6. The SC is not possible to order anymore so the Purchaser creates a copy of the original SC (on behalf of the user who create the SC in the first place).
7. I expect that the contract I created in bullet 5 would be proposed as source of supply in the new SC but it isn´t :-(
I therefore wondering if it is because the contracts is not replicated to backend at the moment?
Note:
I order a text service item and I have filled the Supplier Part number in both the contract and SC but this do not help.

Hello,
If you are using classic scenario, only backend contracts will be proposed as SOS.
This means that if you create a central contract in SRM, it should be replicated to ECC in order to be used as source of supply.
SRM contracts can be used as SOS only in case of extended classic and local scenarios.
