Selection Criteria for Quick View

Hello all,
does anybody have an idea how to add an additional filed to selection in Quick View?
I need to add Purchasing group. Thanks for any ideas.

I forgot to say we are on SCMSNC 7.01 and we have Purch Org available in our system. It was a custom development in 5.1, now SAP has added it as default to PO worklist/Duelist, and some other screens as extended selection criteria.
We would like to have it on QuickView selection and it looks like that it has to be custom development anyway. We had some discussion w/SAP, they might add this to future releases.

maintained class in t-code CL01 for you characteristics then sort sequence CU70 as per shelf life, setting expiration date check by OMJE for your plamt and movment type,
maintained strategy type in spro in production
Define Batch search procedure and assign your strategy there.
then allocate your search procedure to your plant in spro
and then maintained condition type in t -code COB1 for your plant.
also maintained your class in material master in classification view for batch class

Keep Preview for quick Viewing of PHotos rather than Photoshop

I just loaded Photoshop Elements 4.0 and am learning it. Unfortunately, for photos I may have on my desktop, everytime I want to view one by clicking on it, Photoshop elements loads which takes time. I really would prefer only the preview from Mac to use for quick viewing. I tried resetting preferences back but it did not work. any help would be greatly appreciated. have a wonderful new year.

From the finder, click on one photo to select it and then go to File/GetInfo. Scroll down slightly and look for "Open with..." You can set each photo individually to open with Preview or configure to open all documents of that type (jpg) to open with Preview (or any other app of your choice).

Icon for quick view in finder

I can't see the icon for quick view in the finder-bar in the Leopard? How do I turn it on?

If you go to View > Customize toolbar you can drag the quick view icon (looks like an eye) to the toolbar in the finder window.

Hi, OK - I got it to work...
Some notes:
1) The View wizard cannot be initiated from the Entity Object.
2) During the View wizard process - do not associate with Entity
3) Selected columns must be mapped as expressions
4) Using non-distinct columns will override the distinct function

Archiving: adding more selection criterias for MM_EKKO

Is there a possibility for adding new selection criterias for object MM_EKKO? Any exits for Release 4.6c?

Deactivated means that you have executed a 2-step archiving.
You have different residence times. SAP set the deletion flag if residence time one is met, but residence time 2 not yet.
If both times are met, the PO gets archived.
for examples see OSS note 948493 - Residence time in new reports RM06EV47, RM06BV47
You probably have customized the test variant for MM_EKKO as production variant, other wise SAP would not have updated your database.

DB14 Backup - No logs exist for the selection criteria for system DEV

you never made a backup on you new installed system....then how system will show you backup details(which were not happened in real)

Compensation Plan needs to take several optiions rather than a single option.

Do we need to copy the standard program and then modify it or there can be some other way out for it.

have checked out the SDN forums quite throughly and have come up with a couple of questions/solutions.
1) Copy the program into Z-name space and add in the code
Question: Where to specifically add the code, the program is huge with multiple enhancement points being seen in the code.

Can we change the selection criteria for RV60SBAT Background Job for Billin

We have a requirement to add a new selection criteria for RV60SBAT Background Job for Billing. We want to process back order invoices first. So we want a specific background job to select these. So we want to select any orders that are eligible to be invoiced where order date < the date of background job(r sy-datum ). Any ideas where we can introduce this logic for selection criteria?

For your requirement , copy the standard RV60SBAT program to Z program and in that copied RV60SBAT program , maintain the logic that the backorder invoices should be first processed.Then after that regular background job for billing should take happen .Then your requirement can be fulfilled

My scenario is: I have a sales document cube as well as deliveries cube! There are queries as well on these cubes!
Now , the requirement is to make a query having the info of both the cubes with the selection criteria as promised date! i had so created multicube and designed a query as well.
As promised date is keyfigure in both the cubes, i wonder whether this could be possible and thats why i posted my query!

Would like to seek for your help, how to use (SQVI) quick viewer/SAP query to generate the listing of and can I use SQVI -quick viewer and select the data source as logical database source to generate in order to generate the listing of GL account number,GL account descrition , tax category,posting without tax allowed column in the query by company?

Thank you for the prompt reply, what I would like the query to generate is the master data GL listing for GL account,GL description,Tax category, posting without tax allowed column where i use BRF as the data source for logical database to generate the quick viewver but the BRF data source do not have the GL description.
How I can join table/join query or what are the data source should i use so that i can able to generate the query with GL master data listing by company code by display GL account,GL description,Tax category, posting without tax allowed?

Also, what the difference between SQV1 and SQ01 ?

Bizarre behavior of a View Criteria for a View Object

Hey,
I remarked quite a bizarre behavior of the View criteria that I created for my view object, using bind variables.
lets say I have the generated query in the View object:
SELECT Paquet.ID,
Paquet.WEIGHT,
Paquet.VALUE,
Paquet.ORIGIN,
Paquet.DESTINATION
FROM PAQUET Paquet
I want to use the executeWithParams with bind variables for this View object.
I create a bind variable:p_o
I create the View Criteria vith the visual editor that generates an additional view clause:
( ( ( Paquet.ORIGIN LIKE ('%' || :p_o || '%') ) OR ( :p_o IS NULL ) ) )
test query works and explain plan as well.
Now, when I execute the view object on a page with the bind variable properly set, I get the error: java.sql.SQLException: Attempt to set a parameter name that does not occur in the SQL: p_o
Then I copy the where clause generated by view criteria visual edito directly to the query and delete the View Criteria, and it ALL WORKS FINE
If has to work like that, then what is the View Criteria useful for? I still think that there is a problem.

Hi,
ViewCriterias are not accessed with ExecuteWith Params. For this the bind variable needs to be in the where clause. Named ViewCriterias are listed separately in the DC list

All the replies are right, the validity date is mandatory in VK13. If you go for condition information in VK13 you won't get the values, so no use.
So you have to go for Pricing Report with V/LD only, there the validity period is not mandatory.
This is how you create a Pricing report step by step
u2022 Enter Name for the List (Starting from a letter, not numbers fully) & a Title
u2022 Press FOOTPRINT button
u2022 In the new screen you have to select all key fields that should be taken into consideration in the pricing report.
u2022 Highlight all relevant fields
u2022 Press AND or OR appropriately
u2022 If you select OR ; all condition tables are evaluated, that contain at least one of the selected key fields.
u2022 If you select AND ; all condition tables are evaluated, that contain all selected key fields.
u2022 Now youu2019ll be directed to condition table list that are to be evaluated. Highlight relevant condition tables.
u2022 Select "FOOT PRINT to define the screen structure for the pricing report.
u2022 You can configure the report layout here.
u2022 Mark BLANK under u201CSelectionu201D; for fields that are not used as selection criteria.
u2022 Mark TICK to set mandatory fields on the selection screen.
u2022 Use POSITIONING to place different filed in the layout of the report.
u2022 SORT is the number determining the sequence in which the individual objects are displayed.
u2022 TEXT is used to view only Field ID or Field Text or both Field ID & Field Text.
u2022 Once everything is done, save the report. A TR number will get generated.
How to run a pricing report
Transaction: V/LD
u2022 Enter pricing report number
u2022 Press Execute
u2022 Based on the configuration you have done, selection screen will appear.

How to use a subreport field as selection criteria for the main report

 I created a report with one subreport and im comparing information from both reports but i need to apply selection criteria in the main report using one of the fields in the subreport, the problem is that the subreport field doesnt appear in the select expert screen. By any chance, someone knows how make a subreport field be used by the select expert.
