Selection/Deletion settings for the Marquee tool. Where are they???

On my logic pro 8, I was working on a project, and I selected a section of MIDI region in the arrange window. Then I hit delete, a window pops up asking me if I want to delete the automation data stored within and me, being an idiot, clicked the check box button that said -Always do this- and hit enter.
I do not want to always delete the automation data stored therein when I press delete. And I cannot find anywhere where the settings are for this.
Please help!

I wouldn't feel bad if I were you, the wording of the preference menu and what you are trying to achieve could cause confusion. Case in point with me.
Chances are you will tire quickly with having to agree or disagree with moving automation whenever you move a region (even if the automation is 'flat' where the region is) so you might find this method beneficial:
Assign an easy key command (shift-A for example) to 'toggle move automation with region never/always' and get in the habit of paying attention to what you want to happen when you move or delete regions. If you don't remember which mode you are in the help tag will tell you (activate in Pref>Display>show help tags) in its upper right corner.

Oh, but they are! You can select multiple titles, or even a bin containing multiple titles, and use the same File > Export > Title command. Premiere Pro will ask you where you want to save the first (and change the name, but it will default to the name given in the project), and then will automatically export all selected titles without further user intervention. You can import them en masse or in a folder (to create a bin automatically) into another project.

You can't view them on iCloud.com. And photos (and other data) stored in your device backup can't be viewed, other than by restoring the backup to your device.
If you want to view your photos on the web, for the time being you will have to add them to a shared stream (album) with the Public Website option enabled. This will give you a private url to view them from a browser.

If your MB isn't the computer you usually sync with, the notes were deleted and not retrievable. Do you backup with iCloud?

Yes, the points were most certainly miscalculated during the upgrade.
From what I'm told (I don't generally keep track of my points) I gained something like 15,000 points during the upgrade. Since the maintenance script I appear to have gone back down by about the same amount, so it looks about right, and it means I've dropped back down a place on the 'leaderboard' for the SQL and PL/SQL forum, which is where I was before.
From what admin say, they believe all the points are now correct, though it's hard to tell exactly so a few hundred points here or there (give or take) isn't going to hurt anyone (not that they can hurt anyway).
Compared to performance issues, and buggy editor etc. the points are hardly a priority for the working of the forums.

IOS 6, factory reset and the missing photos - where are they now?

I installed IOS6 then did a factory reset on my ipad, and afterwards all photos bar the seven in the photostream disappeared. They're still in the device somewhere as they're still taking up space under the 'Usage' section.
Anyone know how to recover them, or delete them entirely to free up that memory for other things? (All are backed up elsewhere so deletion is not a problem).

Have you been using your phone as recommended? If so, you've been importing photos in your camera roll onto your computer for safe keeping. Just as you would with a standalone digital camera. Your photos would then reside safely on your computer for archival.
While camera roll photos ARE part of the backup, not everything always goes smoothly as you've seen, which is why the recommendation to import photos as soon as possible to your computer.
If you have a recent backup of your iPhone, you can restore and hopefully many of your photos will be on this backup. Any photos or data added to your phone since this last backup are, of course, gone forever.

I've uploaded 2 files to the cloud but they are not visible there in my files. If I try to upload them again then a mesage tells me I already uploaded them. Where have they gone?

Which Cloud? You can be storing files on Adobe’s Cloud services, Acrobat.com, and any number of other 3rd party Cloud services.
How are you uploading them to the Cloud of your choice?

I never deleted the videos. so where are they

so i sold my ipod then when i want to watch my tv show i downloaded, they weren't there. now i never deleted them, im 100% sure. and the space on my hard drive is still getting taken up. in my tv show folder it only shows the shows i've already downloaded.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store so they won't show in the cloud for redownloading - I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com so I assume that it's them that are requiring the one-time download.

Just download and save another file.<br />
Then you can right click that file in the Download Manager and choose "Open Containing Folder".

where can I change the font settings for the name of the month in iPhoto's calendar project? I just ordered two copies of a calendar I designed in iPhoto and was surprised to find that the calendar's months were printing in something like an Arial 10 pt font. On previous calendars I've printer via iPhoto and Apple, the font was much larger. I've tried every menu option in iPhoto and the Calendar Project program and can't find where this is modifyable. Which leads me to ask, what the heck happened here in the first place? I did not consciously change the default.
I do remember that I got some notice when I first tried to print the calendar about the default font having been changed, but I don't know how this could have happened, and I didn't know what impact that had on the calendar until it was delivered. I typically print about a dozen annual calendars but won't buy another until I've got a handle on this problem. For the most part, the rest of the calendar is okay.
As a P.S. is there anywhere where one can get a power user's manual, or instruction on iPhoto?

"Maximum" and "12" usually refer to compression (influencing image quality and jpeg file size in bytes); and as Curt wrote, dpi is meaningless for display by and viewing in web browsers. (It could be a different matter if you are uploading the jpeg files for someone to download from the web to print.)
What are the sequence of steps that you and your batch processing take from Bridge?
You can use call Photoshop's Image Processor from Bridge to create the jpeg files (Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor). In the Image Processor you can set jpeg compression, pixel dimensions if desired, also convert to sRGB (good idea for web display). In my experience the image processor leaves unchanged whatever dpi is set in the source file; or, if none there as might be for a pdf, it will set the dpi value in your New Document Preset Print Resolution (from your Photoshop Units & Rulers preferences).

I don't believe there is a square brush among the sets that ship with Photoshop, but there are plenty to download, and it is super easy to make one.
Just drag with the rectangular Marquee tool, fill with black on a new layer, and go Edit > Define brush preset

Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten passcode:
Restore (and reset passcode) on your device by connecting it to the last computer to which it was connected:
