my basis consultant is not able to give the solution.
if any one gives answer i will appreciate them.

Hi Rao,
Please don't open new thread.. Try to reply in the same thread.
Now for your Scenario you need 8.5*12 inches,
Check table TSP08( Paper formats). It contains all the list of page formats.
Check in all units for example 8.5 * 12 inches ==> 215.9 * 304.8 MM or GOTO SPAD and create one for yourself.
Then in your SAPscript use the desired page format.
Reward points to all useful efforts.

  • I cannot select the Paper Size when I try to print with HP Photosmart B110a with Windows 8.1 64bit

I cannot select the Paper Size when I try to print with HP Photosmart B110a
The same printer was working OK with my old PC with OS Windows 7
However I got a new PC with OS Windows 8.1 64bit
I installed the new driver for HP Photosmart B110a that I dowloaded from HP site. Driver forWindows 8.1 64bit.
In addition to not being able to chose the paper size, also when I go to Printer Properties in Options, all the characters are non-ascii.
Do you know what may be the problem?
    Thank you

    Hello Nanu64,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having some issues when attempting to print from your computer.
I also see that you stated that not all the options are available in the printing preferences options.  This could be because the installation was not complete or it failed.
I suggest that we do a complete uninstall/ reinstall as well as some additional steps.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
If you have the printer connected to the computer with a usb cable, please remove the cable from both ends and leave it disconnected until further notice.
The next link that I have for you will give you detailed instructions for Uninstalling the Printer Software.  Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer so that the changes take affect.
When the computer is back up and running, please disable any firewalls or anti virus protection you may have running. We don't want anything getting in the way of the reinstall.
The following download is the HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers.  Save this download to the desktop of the computer so that it creates its own icon.  This will make it easy for us to find when the download is complete.
Double click the new icon and follow the installation instructions.  The installation will give you connection options (Wireless , usb or Ethernet), if connecting usb, please wait for the prompt to connect the cable.  Connecting the usb cable before hand can cause an issue with the installation.
If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.
    Thanks for your time.

  • I am unable to select the correct paper size when printing photo's in iPhoto 11. When I select the paper size in the custom window for 4x6 prints the prints only appear on an 8 1/2x11 page. My Mac is a year old iMac running 10.8.2.

I am unable to print 4x6 photo's using iPhoto 11. When I do they only print out on lettter size paper even though I enter 4x6 in the custom window in the print size menu. My older Snow Leopard system using iPhoto 9 the paper size window offered a 4x6 paper size which worked well.

Selecting paper size in the first sreen tellis iPhoto what papery you are going to use - it does not tell the printer what paper to use - printer specific options on on the last (second or third if you customize the print) screen where you tell the print any specifics like paper source (typically printers need to you tell them where a specific paper is loaded - they do not really know the sizes in each paper tray)

  • Printer selects wrong paper size

when I sent a document to the eprinter it selects photo paper instead of  typing paper. How do I correct this? I have changed the preferences to no avail

Why type of document is it that you are sending. By default our ePrint servers will print a photo on 4x6 and a pdf or .doc on a 8.5x11. As of the moment, there is no way to change this.

  • Selected print size will not fit current paper size

I am new to iPhoto and I keep getting the following message when I try to print at home - "selected print size will not fit current paper size" - I don't understand this. I am printing to 4x6 photo paper. I have chose 4x6 under paper and I have chosen 4x6 under print. It seems to want to fit the photo horizontally instead of vertically - I can work around this by choosing to print 3x5 onto 4x6 paper, but then the border is quite large.
    I hope this makes sense.
Thanks for any help regarding this issue.

Does your printer driver support 4x6 borderless printing?
You have to make sure your printer has a borderless driver ( the Epsons have two, a regular and one with Borderless-sheet feeder in the title and both must be installed and selectable under the Printer menu. If it's a Canon then you must be sure you select 4x6 borderless under the Paper size. Here's a step by step workflow you can try:
Steps for printing 4 x 6 prints from iPhoto:
crop the photo to 4 x 6 in iPhoto.
select the picture you want to print and type Command-P.
*click on the Advanced button in iPhoto's print pane.
    *select your Printer and Presets
*select "Paper Handling" in the Copies & Pages menu.
*in the Destination Paper Size section select "Scale to fit paper size: and select the paper size in the menu.
    *click on the Standard button.
in the iPhoto print pane select your printer, Presets and Paper size.
    select Standard Prints under Style.
select print size in the Size menu and check the "One photo per page: checkbox.
    click on the Print button
*These steps may be redundant but might correct those situations where the paper size selected in the iPhoto print pane does not seem to take.
    What printer do you have?

  • How do I change the default paper size from letter to A4 on an F2480 attached to a Windows 7 system?

I have an F2480 attached to a Windows 7 machine.  I have used the Solution Center to check that I have the latest printer driver installed.  How do I get the software to understand that the paper loaded in the printer is A4 not letter, and always will be?  I found an earlier question about this on this board where DexterM suggested going in through Printing Preferences.  I have done that but it won't let me save A4 as the paper size for all future use.  Also in that conversation HPPooper suggests editing the Registry, but the keyword he references ("DsDriver") does not exist on my system.

    Hi bobellina,
I did some testing and think I may have found a solution:
    1. Open Devices and Printers
    2. Right click the printer and select Printing Preferences
    3. Click on Features tab
    4. Click on Sizes and choose "More"
    5. Choose "Metric" or "English" at the top (depending on the size options you want available)
    6. Select the paper size you want as default, then click OK
    7. Click Apply, then OK on the remaining window
    8. Right click the printer again and select "Set as Default"
This should make whatever paper size you select be "default" in whatever application you are printing from (unless the application has a default override). Paint and Notepad left the printer defaults, but Word 2010 overrode them.
If I have helped in any way, just click the Kudos star on the left. Also, if your issue has been resolved, don't forget to select Accept as Solution

  • Paper Size issues with CreatePDF Desktop Printer

Are there any known paper size issues with PDFs created using Acrobat.com's CreatePDF Desktop Printer?
I've performed limited testing with a trial subscription, in preparation for a rollout to several clients.
Standard paper size in this country is A4, not Letter.  The desktop printer was created manually on a Windows XP system following the instructions in document cpsid_86984.  MS Word was then used to print a Word document to the virtual printer.  Paper Size in Word's Page Setup was correctly set to A4.  However the resultant PDF file was Letter size, causing the top of each page to be truncated.
I then looked at the Properties of the printer, and found that it was using an "HP Color LaserJet PS" driver (self-chosen by the printer install procedure).  Its Paper Size was also set to A4.  Word does override some printer driver settings, but in this case both the application and the printer were set to A4, so there should have been no issue.
On a hunch, I then changed the CreatePDF printer driver to a Xerox Phaser, as suggested in the above Adobe document for other versions of Windows.  (Couldn't find the recommended "Xerox Phaser 6120 PS", so chose the 1235 PS model instead.)  After confirming that it too was set for A4, I repeated the test using the same Word document.  This time the result was fine.
While I seem to have solved the issue on this occasion, I have not been able to do sufficient testing with a 5-PDF trial, and wish to avoid similar problems with the future live users, all of which use Word and A4 paper.  Any information or recommendations would be appreciated.  Also, is there any information available on the service's sensitivity to different printer drivers used with the CreatePDF's printer definition?  And can we assume that the alternative "Upload and Convert" procedure correctly selects output paper size from the settings of an uploaded document?
PS - The newly-revised doc cpsid_86984 still seems to need further revising.  Vista and Windows 7 instructions have now been split.  I tried the new Vista instructions on a Vista SP2 PC and found that step 6 appears to be out of place - there was no provision to enter Adobe ID and password at this stage.  It appears that, as with XP and Win7, one must configure the printer after it is installed (and not just if changing the ID or password, as stated in the document).

    Thank you, Rebecca.
The plot thickens a little, given that it was the same unaltered Word document that first created a letter-size PDF, but correctly created an A4-size PDF after the driver was changed from the HP Color Laser PS to a Xerox Phaser.  I thought that the answer may lie in your comment that "it'll get complicated if there is a particular driver selected in the process of manually installing the PDF desktop printer".  But that HP driver was not (consciously) selected - it became part of the printer definition when the manual install instructions were followed.
However I haven't yet had a chance to try a different XP system, and given that you haven't been able to reproduce the issue (thank you for trying), I will assume for the time being that it might have been a spurious problem that won't recur.  I'll take your point about using the installer, though when the opportunity arises I might try to satisfy my cursed curiosity by experimenting further with the manual install.  If I come up with anything of interest, I'll post again.

  • Unable to figure out paper sizes in PSE 9...

Hi, I am trying to print a 4x6 photo... when I click print the pse print window opens and asks to select: printer, paper size & print size.  I don't know what paper sizes they are offering, ex: KG, KG.NMg,  PhotoPaper2L, PhotoPaper2L.NMgn, PhotoPaperRoll, PhotoPaperRollNMgn, etc.... ??  When I select these and try to print my 4x6, my image is cut off the edge.  What are these paper sizes? and what should I select to print a standard 4x6 photo?  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply, "no margin" is probably right, but still unsure what the sizes are.  I don't know why'd they be metric.  Other options on the list were the standard: a4, letter, legal, 8x10in (that looks like a photo size), and some other ones I've never seen before: HiVision 102x180 , Env10 (guessing envelope size), A6.Maximum (??), and Halfletter.  These are the selection for the window for PSE9.... once I move to the next window (after selecting print on the pse window)... my printer window comes up and all is well, though there is not a place to select paper size, just paper type (glossy, etc).  Very frustrating to waste so much costly photo paper.

  • How to set default paper size in iPhoto?

iPhoto selects a paper size seemingly at random, and I can't find any way to set the default to letter. What am I missing here? I don't have this problem with other applications.

    Hi Frank,
    Thanks for the additional information.
This bug was originally fixed in 9.0.4 but seems to have been broken again somehow in 9.0.5 and 10.1.2, so I have opened a new bug for it. The bug number is 4032412.
The good news is that this bug does not exist in the 10.1.3 Developer's Preview which will be available very soon! and it also allows you to set the page orientation of the diagrams from within Tools | Preferences.
    Thanks for reporting the problem,

  • Change paper size when printing

How to change paper size when printing pdf? No option for paper size appear.

That is a feature of AirPrint. If you do a Google search on "AirPrint paper size" you'll find documentation from major printer manufacturers. For example, this is copied from some HP documentation:
What paper and media sizes are supported?
With AirPrint, paper and photo media sizes are automatically selected depending on the application you are using on your Apple device, your HP ePrint printer, and the region in which you are using AirPrint. You do not have the option to select different paper sizes.
For example, from Apple’s Photo application, if the HP ePrint printer has a separate photo paper tray, AirPrint uses 4 x 6 inch photo media as the default paper size. If the printer does not have a separate photo paper tray, AirPrint uses letter-size paper. If you are printing from Apple’s Safaribrowser, letter-size paper is the default paper size in the US region, and A4 is the default paper size in Europe.
AirPrint supports the following paper and media sizes:
    Letter
    Legal
    A4
    4 x 6 in photo paper
    A6 photo paper

  • Why paper sizes limited?

I am viewing www.lynda.com online training for Pages.
About 1/3 of the way into the tutorial on document setup, he shows the options available under Page Setup in paper sizes. The sizes that he shows available are much broader (his Pages app. shows about 17 options) than what I see available in my own Pages application (mine only shows 9 options). I would like to use some of the options I see in his app. picture...
Why are my options for page size so limited?
    Thanks,
    Meg

It depends on your printer. Normally you'll only see the paper sizes that are supported by your printer (or more properly, the printer driver software).
I looked at the tutorial you mentioned, and it shows an HP Color LaserJet 2600n as the printer. It lists 16 pre-defined sizes, plus one custom.
If you pick Format for: Any Printer, then you may see a wider selection of paper sizes. Note that some choices may not work with your printer. How many of us have printers that can print Tabloid (11 x 17")?

  • Paper Size

I'm trying to create a legal size landscape document. When I create from a new blank form under set up the page sizes appear, however, 8 1/2 x 14 is not an option. It has every other option you can imagine. So I selected 10 x 14 and figured I'd adjust the margins but now it will not print properly. Where is the 8 1/2 x 14 option?

In the Master Page area, under Page 1 you can select the Paper size (legal is an option) and under that you can choose portrait of landscape radio buttons.

  • Why is the PAPER SIZE pull down list different between my 2 identical MFPs?

Indesign 6 - Toshiba MFPs with PS3 Drivers.
I have 2 of the same models Toshiba MFPs - 5560c, and using the Universal PS3 Driver under Windows 7 PC.
Why is my Paper Size pull down list different between to the 2 MFPs?  The main reason I ask; I don't leave it on "Defined by Driver" because that affects full bleed with crop mark printing, so I setup the driver first (say 12x18), then come back to the InDesign dialog and select a paper size.
For my scenario I need 12x18 - which shows in one list but not the other. Aside from that the lists are totally different - why is that?  How can I manage that list?
    Thanks,
