Selective regions in Color...help?

Hello all...
I've just recently begun using Color. After the initial terror subsided, I found it to be an intuitive, powerful program. Glad I finally had an excuse to use it; I'm now about half-way through color correcting a feature.
The director has been sitting with me here as we go through it together...twelve hour days are not uncommon. Out of this collaboration, we've come up with some pretty cool ideas. I've bumbled my way into figuring most of them out, but am now wondering how to pull this one off...
We've taken one scene to black and white, very contrasty, gorgeous actually. I would like to let this scene remain black and white, but have the tattoo on the lead's arm be in color. Also a glass of whiskey. Other than those two things, black and white, but those two dead on. In wides and CUs. My question is, quite obviously:
How in blazes can I do this? I remember seeing something similar done at the Final Cut Studio tour stop here in Los Angeles last year, and if I remember correctly, the guy demo-ing Color did this in real time while we all oooh'ed and ahhh'ed. It can be done! I know it!
Help! Please! Deadline approaching and director is asking me daily if I've figured it out yet...

Is your Photoshop CS5 updated to 12.1?
Are you on Yosemite 10.10.1 or Yosemite 10.10.2?
Did you apply the recent Epson software 2.1.9 update?
What type of file is it (file format)? What bit depth and what color space?

How to directly write values in a selected region?

Dear Experts,
I'd like to directly write values in a selected region, such as PUT function in MS version.
Because I would like to trigger the When statement by target account.
Like:
*When ACCT
*IS Amount
*REC (EXPRESS = Qty * Price)
*ENDWHEN
Since I have to ensure the Amount account has already have data in oder to process this record, so did any experts have ever directly write values in a selected region?

Hi,
You can use MDX statements to write values directly to the selected scope of dimension members.
The genereal syntax is,
[DIM_NAME].[#MEMBER_NAME]=<<VALUE>>
or
[DIM_NAME].[#MEMBER_NAME]=[DIM_NAME].[MEMBER_NAME](Operator)[DIM_NAME].[MEMBER_NAME]
Example,
[P_ACCT].[#X]=1000
[P_ACCT].[#X]=[P_ACCT].[Y]+[P_ACCT].[Z]
EXPRESSION inside REC statement can be used in same way along. For arithematic operations in EXPRESSION you need to use LOOKUP for fetching the other values.

Not saying it cant be scripted but what about just via the Illustrator "Select" menu:
Examples:
Select > Same > Fill & Stoke
Select > Same > Fill Color
Select > Same > Stroke Color

Error in selected text background color

The selected text in white is really not good visible selected.
Why flash does not suppor that?

Select same fill color/stroke color but not for entire document

As the title imply's, I am wondering if there is a way to use the "select same fill color" and/or "stroke color" for just a group of objects in a document as opposed to document-wide.

Did you make the group into an isolation group?
( in the Control bar.)
Or else you can select the objects you want to change, then Select Inverse and lock or hide.
Isolation groups are usually handy for this kind of work though.

How do I select Target shadow color in curves and levels

On a tutorial I see that by double clicking on the shadow eyedropper in the curves dialog, I should get to the "Select target shadow color" dialog box. However, I only get a color dialog box.
Any clues as to how I can change dialog boxes??

Doesnt seem like you can change either the border color or the style of the "arrow" on the select list

Cannot save the selected regions

I'm just trying to set up a site for a client. I don't use Dreamweaver so I'm trying to create editable regions in the browser, following the instructions (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/InContextEditing/Administrator/index.html#editable).
When I put a tick in the checkbox and click on Save, I get an error message: "You cannot save the selected regions, etc". The region is not dynamically generated - in fact this is a very simple static page with no scripts at all, nothing complicated. Here's the URL: http://www.artonhart.com.au/guestbook.html

Scaling Automation in selected regions?

I know how to scale automation for a whole track using the command key and and the automation fader, but how do you do this for a selected region of a track? say maybe 20 bars in the middle of the song on track X? I did a search here and couldn't find anything that helped, I apologise if this is an obvious question, but I would love the answer...

Fully filling a selection with certain color

Hello!
I'm trying to fill a selected region using Edit -> Fill...
However, pixels at the periphery of the region are not changed to the desired color exactly, but a lighter/darker one.
Is there a way to replace every single pixel inside a region with a certain color?

He/she means when making the selection.
Feather should be 0px, Anti-alias should be unchecked.

You could resolve your issue by changing the value of the "ls_map-context_attr" to the attribute value seen on the F2 help on WebUI screen.
If you change the value   ls_map-context_attr to   'ZZBUT000000102' , then F4 help would work properly.

WorkOrderList TileView Row & Selected Row Background Color Change

     can we change the background color of WorkorderList TileView Row & Selected Row Background color ?. Actually i am trying to change the color of both in WorkOrderList but it not reflecting any color on my Agentry client. I used a style on Tile List View Data/Style.
but these applied style on Rows & Selected Rows are not working in Agentry client.
if any other alternate solution exist in Agentry, please guide me.

      Yes using Image we can achieve that goal but i want to use a background color instead of Image background. Finally I used a background color on label and set the that label field on Screen. And It's showing the background color on WorkOrderList Row & Selected Row that what i wanted. But on both Row & Selected TileView Screen showing white outline that i don't want and also i could not remove the default Selected Blue Background Color.
     Please guide me how to remove white outline and default Blue Selected Background color.
