Selectively printing documents from pending documents HP6500A Plus eprinter

From the eprinter's web interface I can see pending documents. I want to print one without cancelling the other, which is ahead of it in the queue. Can I change the document order in the queue?

When printing document and comments output is only the comments

When I select Print document and comments (Ctrl+T)in Acrobat 6 and have my "Print with:" set as Documents and comments the output is only the comments with their location in the document. The original document however is not printed. How can I prevent this?

So, does the bursting process print completely independent of the style/driver setups in EBS? If that's the case, then I will have to check with my sysadmins on the printer setups on the Linux server like you mentioned.

Returning to Print dialog from Print preview?

If, after selecting Print preview from the Print dialog, I want to go back and change something in the Print dialog like Layout, is it possible to return to the Print dialog? What I've been doing is quitting the Preview and then going back to what I wanted to print and selecting Print again, which seems inefficient.

Unfortunately it's not possible. This is one of the limitations of the preview function of OSX printing. Perhaps this will be addressed in Leopard. It's pretty frustrating, I totally agree.

Print Dialog box wont appear when "Print Pages" from Bookmarks Window

When I use the "print pages" option from the Bookmarks window the pages are sent directly to the default printer with the default settings. How do I get the print dialog window to appear if I select "print pages" from the Bookmarks window so that I may modify the print settings?

I wasn't aware that you could get the print dialog box to appear after dragging a supported file to the alias, regardless of where it resided. I've never seen this happen on 10.4.x or 10.3.9 so I tested the Option key and found it didn't force the dialog box to appear either. Tried a few others keys also but no luck in getting the box to appear.
Re the fierycupsfilter issue. EFI have released an updater that replaces the system-provided version and therefore stops the need to modify the ppd.

Cannot print photos from iPhone to ePrint

I am trying to print photos from my iPhone directly to eprint. They are not printing. When I check status of the print job - it lists in the print que that they have been discarded due to detection of spam. What is confusing is I used to be able to print direct from my iPhone to eprint.
I cannot figure out the problem.

There are a few things that could be causing the email to be marked incorrectly as spam. Make sure the email falls within these specifications:
1. The ePrint address is listed as the only recipient (no other addresses in the "To:", "Cc/Bcc:" fields).
2. The email's size including attachments doesn't exceed 5MB.
3. Make sure you have text in the body of the email along with your attachments.
4. If the email is being forwarded, be sure to remove the "FW:" portion of the subject line.
If your email fits all of these specifications and is still being rejected, let me know and we'll look further at the issue.

I'm not clear on how you're trying to print. When you select Print from the file menu in Pages the current document is already selected. Perhaps you need to show the details in the print dialog. The first screenshot is from Mountain Lion the second from an earlier OS where you click the blue down-facing triangle button (sorry, I can't remember which one).

Quit Safari.
Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:
☞ If running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar.
☞ If running an older version of Mac OS X, select Go ▹ Go to Folder… from the Finder menu bar and enter “~/Library” (without the quotes) in the text box that opens.
Delete the following items from the Library folder:
Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Preferences/com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences.plist
Preferences/QuickTime Preferences
Relaunch Safari and test.

Can/t scan documents from HP OJ 6500A plus

Ever since I installed McAfee, I can no longer scan a document from my HP 6500A Plus to my Dell Inspiron desktop computer. I keep getting the message "Scanner communication cannot be establisheed".

Thank you for getting back to me again. If the printing is also showing issues, such as the slow printing, it's possible the printer itself could be at fault.
I'd suggest loading about 10 blank pages and make 10 blank copies to test out the hardware without involving the computer in any way. If the copies show problems, the printer has an issue.
If you find that the copies are working fine, run the Print and Scan Doctor from your computer to fix or detect printing and scanning problems. You can save this tool right to your desktop and run it twice (and when needed in the future) for printing and scanning.
Let me know how you make out thus far and we'll go from there.

Cannot print document - No pages selected - Adobe Reader XI

Using Adobe Reader XI on a Windows 8.1 machine driving a Brother DCP-7055 printer via a network-linked Windows 7 machine to print 16-page document in Booklet format. This worked well yesterday, but this morning, with no changes to the system, so far as I am aware, I get Cannot print document - no pages selected on both the W8.1 and W7 machines. Same result trying to print ANY pdf from either machine. The same pdfs print OK using alternative pdf software (Nitropdf) but I need the booklet format option. Any solutions? Any suggestions.

That 'Protected Mode' causes so many troubles (hangs, crashes, limited functionality, ...) that I have been recommending to disable it for a long time in this forum. I don't know if Adobe is aware of the problem; maybe someone should report it officially: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
I personally have never experienced the problem; I have Protected Mode enabled on all my systems. But there are so many reports in this forum every week that it's clear that something is wrong with it.

HP Deskjet2540 - only part prints documents from internet then gives up

I have recently installed a HP Deskjet 2540 All-in-One Series Printer on my home network. If I print from Word or Excel it is perfect. If I try to print a 2 page document from a website (eg a hotel I'm considering for a holiday), my printer prints about a quarter of one page and then gives up. and ejects that page. I don't understand what's wrong or how to get help from HP

I see that you are having issues printing the full pages from the internet. I would like to help you out today.
I would try another browser to see if you have the same results. (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer)
What web browser are you using?
With most web sites with loads of ads, pictures, banners and other assorted content in addition to the actual text of each page, printing out a web page can be difficult. Printers don't always print multi-item pages correctly. Some sites offer a "print this page" option. It could be the format of the website also, that won't allow specific content to be printed.
You could always copy and paste individual paragraphs from the web browser into Word or Notepad and print from there. Not the best resolution, but it will do in a crisis.
Here is a website called www.printwhatyoulike.com and on the home page, enter the address of the page that you want to print. You can now click around the loaded web page and highlight, or delete altogether, individual components on the page. Then select print.

Printing documents from DIR.

My client wants to develop report which will give documents attached to materials in BOM and documents attached to BOM as document item.
I have given logic for fetching data and i got path also where original document is residing.
There is requirement from client that in report if he select one row or Multiple rows which is having document number and press print button then it should print that document.
How to achieve this?
Is there is any functional module which will print document after giving orginal path of document?

I have some doubts abaout your requirement.
The documents you are talking about: If they are SAP standard texts, you will never have a path bjut rather a text ID, LANGUAGE and NAME. Print them using function PRINT_TEXT.
If your texts are stored in dome format (?) ind some path (?), please say:
What is the format of the text(ASCII, RTF, WORD, HTML) or what?
Is the text stored in a local directory that can be accessed only from your clients SAPGUI or is it a server directory that can be accessed only by the server?
It is never wrong to give some details.

Printing documents from submitted forms

How do you print documents that were submitted as part of the form?

I am guessing you want to print the documents that were added to the form as "attachments". To print the attachments select the attachment from the response in the "View Responses" tab and click the down arrow to bring up the menu. Click "Download" to save the attachment and open it in whichever application is right for the type of file you need to print and print from there.

Margins on print copies from HP Officejet Pro 8600 Printer are not aligned with original document

My HP Office ject Pro 8600 Printer is not printing the same margins as my original document. The left margin on the print copy is 3/4" too far to the right. The margin on the right is too far right and the text is being printed off the page! The problem seemed to start when I loaded Avery Labels to print. I run a non-profit and need to make copies asap for a sponsorship letter for a fundraising event.

Have you tried doing the firmware update for the printer? The firmware update
Fix/Enhancements are as follows.
1) Enhance ePrint Diagnostic report for ePrint Setup
2) Improve ease of wireless setup
3) Enhanced Embedded Web Services
4) Improve Print Quality
5) Improve Ink Usage
6) Improve paper path performance
7) Improve Digital scan performance
To check the version of your current printer firmware:
Printer Information Screen
1. From the Control panel, press Help (?) button, select Printer Information
2. Use the down arrow button to scroll to the 2nd screen
3. The current firmware revision will appear on the screen
If you do not have Version CLP1CN1322CR you need the update.

I'm trying to print an Ancestry document from an iPad 2 using air print onto a Canon 5350 (one of the printers ok'd by Apple) I am unable to change the print orientation from portrait to landscape. That is I change it in printer settings but no use.
