Selectively slow router

I've been having a problem the past few days with my Airport Extreme N router. When trying to do certain activities, like certain websites or certain devices, it chooses not to load or connect without a few tries. A few of the sites include Amazon, MacUpdate, and Facebook. When connecting directly to my cable modem it works at normal speed. My Apple TV wouldn't connect until after a few restarts of the base station. The selectively slow internet connection is present on multiple computers all on the same sites. I've tried both hard and soft resets of the base station, but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?
Thanks

in the Ethernet connection settings it has both "DNS servers" listed ( which is just the IP address of the router ) and the "search domains" pane that lists the domain of the the ISP. The "DNS server(s)" fields in the Airport Utility look very different. are they supposed to the same? how would I go about fixing this?

  • Order selection through routing GC and alternative BOM

    Dear Friends,
I am having 3 routings and 2 BOMs for a single BOM. All these combinations are applicable for all lot sizes. Without using the production version, is there any other way...to select BOM & routing. Actually while creating Prod ord manually in CO01 ... system should propose for the selection BOM and Routing. It should not take the first routing or BOM. Is there any way in customization ..for this?
    Regards.

    Hi
As explained by other members the bom and routing selection is automatic by default in customization. You can change this and by selecting it as manual. However, we strongly recommend you to use Production versions as they will make your job easy and mistakes can be minimised.
    Hope this is useful

  • Path Selection for Routes Across MPLS Network

Customer hub site has two CE routers with two links connected to two seperate PE routers in the Carrier's MPLS network. At the customer's remote site one CE router on a single link is connected to PE router in MPLS network.
How can I configure the CE routers at the hub site to advertised the same network across the MPLS network to the CE router at the remote site? Also, how can I configure the CE router at the remote site to select on of the router as the primary and the other as secondary? Can I use local-preference on the CE router at the remote site to selected on path over the other.
I'm not sure if this makes any sense. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Even with multiple RDs for VRFs belonging to the same VPN, you still need IBGP multipath, correct? Multiple RDs is just to get around the RR restriction.
Also, you posted this message a while back:
"If you have many VPN customers all using the same addresses (most likely rfc1918), the fact that they have different RDs and that the PE prepends the RD to the prefixes exchanged between PEs will make the same prefixes different in the MPLS VPN core
    cust1 advertises 192.168.1.0/24 with RD 1:1 therefore
    VPNv4 prefix is 1:1:192.168.1.0
    cust2 advertises 192.168.1.0/24 with RD 1:2 therefore
    VPNv4 prefix is 1:2:192.168.1.0"
My test lab does not support the IBGP multipath command, and thus even with different RDs, it still only installs one best path.
I understand that RD = make unique VPNv4 routes in SP space, and that RT = what to import into the VRF. However, I am having a hard time visualizing the scenario with mutiple RDs for the same VPN for load balancing purposes. I am trying to understand the logic behind it.
Per your example, if both 1:1 and 1:2 are received by the remote PE, assuming IBGP multipath is enabled, why would the remote PE load balance between the two links? Why would it assume that the hub subnets are reachable via two different PEs, and that it's not two different, isolated VPNs altogether?
Is it b/c you imported both 1:1 and 1:2 into a VRF at the remote PE?

  • Data selection slow for dimension value empty

    Dear BW Experts,
I have face the below situation:
        Let say i have dimension A {Date_billing, Date_invoice, Date_reconcilation}, and I have dimension B {Sales Org, Distribution channel}
Date_billing is always not empty because it is coming from billing document.
But Date_invoice and Date_reconciliation is sometimes value are empty because those are calculated base on some logic.
When i run querry with selection screen of {Date_billing, Sales org, Distribution Channel}, it runs very fast, it uses star stransformation.
But when i run querry with selection screen of {Date_invoice, Sales org,..}, sometimes it runs very slow and even give dump due to run time long. I have checked and what i found is "If user enters the Date_invoice which is existing in dimension table, then it return value very fast, but if users enters some value of Date_invoice which is not existing in dimension table then i run ver slow and give dump".
To advoid this situation, i have been thinking about NON_STAR_TRANSFORMATION, it is OK. But except this do we have any other solutions, do i missed somthing in my setting.
I have been thinking that I should change selection screen like the way that only date existing in dimension table of Date_invoice will display, but I do not want to do this, what i refer is "Is there any other solutions related to BW selection setting to eliminate those such empty value fastly when inner join happens."
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thanks and regards,
    KIMC.

    Hi BW experts,
i have checked, the reason is that they use STAR TRANSFORMATION, and we used oracle 10.2.0.2, I really do not know how to calculation cost of querry base on CBO.
Please guy me, for example, i have a querry, how do i know cost of CBO run if that is STAR TRANSFORMATION and if that is NON STAR TRANSFORMATION.
I am looking forwards to hearing from you.
    thanks and Regards,

if anser is not possible then please give other alternative
    regards,
    mangesh

    H Mangesh,
In R/3 capacity of resources will not be checked while creating both planned order and production order. Thats why you have option of APO-PPDS for more accurate planning across plants with complete capacity check.
You should design your routing with approperaite work centers to carry out manufacturing tasks and with this lot size criteria only autmatic selection of work centers are possible.
Otherwise you have to do changes manually in production orders. For this create alternate routings and order dependent parameters checked the indicator "alternate routings are allowed".

  • Is RV110W capable of "selective" VPN routing? Split tunneling?

    Hello,
I'm trying to find an anwer to for a question whether the RV110W is capable of distinguish between traffic that should go to VPN tunnel and traffic that should not go thru the VPN tunnel - I think this is called split tunneling.
I've been requested to create a VPN Tunnel between an office that's using the RV110W and one corporate network where a VPN server is running. That is quite easy as I know that RV110W has VPN client mode, however there a requirement not to route all traffic through the VPN tunnel. Only traffic that directs to the corporate network (certain ragne of IP addresses) should be routed thru the VPN tunnel and the rest that directs elsewhere should not go to VPN tunnel.
Is this achievable with this device?
If not, could you recommend me a device that is capable to satisfy this requirement?
    Thank you for your anwers.

    Ladislav,
When you create a site to site VPN tunnel, all devices on each side that are on the same VLAN in which the tunnel is created should have access to each other. It will be like they are on the same network but they will have different IP subnets. So the answer is yes, devices on the "server" side should be able to access devices on the RV110W side.

  • Problem in automatic rate routing selection

    Dear all,
I am using REM and according to that I have maintained REM profile in Material Master, rate routing, line hierarchy, production version, but the time of scheduling of planned order, system is saying " The automatic selection of routing is not possible".
I suppose I am missing some configuration.
As also, I have already done the same scenario in other server.
If u have any suggestion then pl. forward me.
    Thanx,
    Das

    Dear SAP PP,
1.Check whether have you included the check box for REM allowed indicator in the production version.
2.Also ensure you have assigned the rate routing option for detailed planning and the correct group and
group counter in the production version.
3.Check the valdiity dates of the rate routing, try to create a planned order in some advanced future date
so that your rate routing is valid for the planned order start date.
4.Check the status and the usage of the rate routing.

  • Select Switch Executive Route based on Socket Index

    Hi,
I have a sequence set up in TestStand which simultaneously tests up to 4 UUT's. In order to run a current measurments, I need to be able to switch each device through the DMM. I have the routes properly configured in Swith Executive, and everything runs fine when I switch manually using the Test Panel feature. What I need to do now though, is choose which device is routed to the DMM based on its test socket number.
So, for the "Measure Current" test step on "Test Socket 0", I go to the Properties>Switching window and just select "Connect_UUT0" route group. This works fine for a single test socket, but how can I dynamically switch route when I have more than one UUT?
I'm aware of the "RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex" variable, but I can't seem to select a route based on this. ie: In "Routes to Connect" I typed "Str(Connect_UUT)+Str(RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex)" after I read a similar solution on this forum, but I just get an error.
I'd really appresciate some help on this,
    Thanks,
    Kevin
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey Kevin,
You shouldn't need to do Str(Connect_UUT). You're likely getting the error because it's trying to interpret Connect_UUT as a variable instead of a string. Try this instead:
    "Connect_UUT"+Str(RunState.TestSocks.MyIndex)
I think that will work, but let us know if you run into any more trouble!

  • How to select the correct routing for production order?

In table PLPO i have 4 different group numbers for a particular routing. I'm wondering how a production order, created in CO01, selects which one to use. Our base quantity is dz/hr. When I create an order for a particular material, it shows up as 290 as the base quantity. The group 1 is 400dz/hr, not 200. Why does the order choose this group number and not the group number 1.
Here is a screen from PLPO table.
Here is a screen showing the material master.
This is an image of the order details within the created order.

    PLPO contains operations
The planselection would be based on PLKO entries.
Please check online help to first get a better understanding on how routings are selected.

  • Planned Order Scheduling - No Valid Routing Selected

    Hi Friends,
I am trying to create planned order and then trigger lead time scheduling for it.
I have maintained BOM, Routing, Production Version, and Scheduling Parameters for Planned Order as Detailed Scheduling with Scheduling Horizon as 50 days, and gactivated scheduling anf enerate capacity requirements in OPU5.
My Production Version is valid through 12/31/9999 and also validity in terms of order qty is correct.
I face problem of routing not being selected beyond the 70 days horizon.
I could not understand why the scheduling horizon considered is 70 days tough i have maintained 50 as scheduling horizon in OPU5.
Waiting for your valuable help and pointers
    Regards,
    Mayur

    Dear Maulik and Dhaval,
Good morning, Hope you remember me.
In my material master I have 28 days as inhouse production time but even aftre changing it to 0 there is not change in the leadtime scheduling result. I still get the message that no valid routing found.
    Dhaval,
For the selection ID routing status matches. My problem is, If my Planned Order has a basic start date on or before 30-Apr-2009 when I try to schedule order it successfully fetches routing but when i give basic start date as 1-May-2009 it results in message no valid routing found.
I though it might be because i have maintained detailed scheduling horizon as 50 days but 30-Apr-2009 is 70 days from now, so I am confused where to check for. My material even do not use production shceduling profile.
    Thanks for replying.
    Looking to see some clue

  • Routing selection in Production Order when using ECN in Routing

    Hi experts,
I'm having some trouble with routing selection when using ECN in routing creation.
I tested a case where I have 3 routings without ECN, and the Order asked me which one of the 3 I want to use.
Then I created a routing with ECN. The order asked only one routing without ECN and the new routing with ECN.
Do you know if there is any relation about using the ECN in Routings and using at the same time Routings without ECN, when selecting the routing in production order?
    Anybody can help?
    Thank you,
    Caio.

    Hi Ayoub,
All the 4 routings are valid from Oct.2014 to 31.12.9999.
The Order date is from Apr.2015.
I've made another test with 2 routings created with ECN and the order chose one without asking me what to choose. I don't know the criteria used in this functionallity.
    Thanks,
    Caio.
