Self-Registration not working in EP7 SP13

Hi Experts,
i am using EP7 with SP13, in this i have enabled self registration link in my logon page. When i click on this link it shows registration page, after entering all required information and submit it. Showing message like this
The requested page has been replaced by the new Web Dynpro based administration. Please refer to SAP Note 869852 if you want to use the old administration UI. Click on the following link to access the new administration screen: /useradmin
I followed this SAP Note 869852. they guide us to enable to old UME UIs. then it will work. so develop cant use the new UME WD UIs.
is any other way to fix the issue, doing the self registration in new UME WD UI itself?
please guide me through this..

If switching back to the HTMLB UIs works for you, first I would like to say: Congratulations. No, really, I don't know anybody who really prefers the WD UI.
Nevertheless, I don't see why using the WD UI should stop someone from using the self registration. This /might/ be a bug, misinterpreting the situation, that the UME UI is needed (which is should not after filling in the self registration form). So, you should consider to open an OSS message about it to get a clarification on this. As SAP provides the new UIs as the new standard, I cannot imagine that they wanted to cut of the self registration functionality when using the new standard...

Hello Wolfgang,
You have to activate the service dswp_sd_self_diagnosis.
Run transaction SICF, on Service Name, enter dswp_sd_self_diagnosis.
Right-click on the service and select "Activate Service".
Run the Setup Wizard of Diagnostics System on SMD to register the program WEBADMIN.

Java(TM) Update Registration not working anymore

Hello,
I updated my java 7.u10 to 7.u11 couple days ago.
It's working on IE, but not on Google Chrome and the other browsers.
I re-installed Google Chrome, re-installed java, but neither worked.
I'm clueless.
Everytime after I re-installed java I get this message:

... neither jre7u10 nor jre7u11 are working ... and they are BOTH broken with the same problem ... "Java(TM) Platform" pliugin is missing from the plug-in list. It cannot be enabled, because it simply is NOT there. A suggestion was made the jre7u12 will be the "fix" for this issue ... so I installed the Update 12 Preview and it sis ALSO broken, no "Java(TM) Platform" in the plug-in list.
The ONLY Java version that actually works for me is jre7u9.

User Creation at the time of Self Registration not via Admin (xelsysadm)

Hello there,
I had a question related to User Creation in OIM via Self Registration (Create Request) and via "xelsysadm" itself creating one user via the web console.
Can I do this -
When a user does self registration then how can I directly create a user in OIM?
Right now: the user's request needs to be approved by xelsysadm first and then only that user can login into OIM and then only that user can be seen in OIM - I want to remove the "xelsysadm" gateway of approving the request.
I want that user directly to be present in the OIM as soon as he/she fills out it's information in the self registration pages. How can we do this?
Also, I want an email to be sent to the user to its email ID that he/she provided at the time of self regn containing its User ID and password in it from the xelsysadm email id. How can I do that?

User Registration is R.O. which used for User Self Registration.
But if you see it carefully, there's no Approve Task (not workflow) in it.
It has three task
1) SV
2) PI
3) AAD
And if you see the request while approval it shows Awaiting Approval Data means it stuck in AAD.
Try to modify this, I can't as I don have any extra machine with. Try to modify this. It may not allow you to update it, you'll have to change its security level in Database level.

EPrint registration NOT WORKING in HP Laserjet 200 M276 PCL6

I bought this printer and its only to be able to print on the move, but the ePrint Web service or better enabling the same does not want to work.
The printer is the HP LaserJet 200 colorMFP M276nw PCL6, the serial number is CNF8G6S398, the computer support is an Asus EEE Notebook with Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1.
Updated firmware to version 20140521 (20140718 version does NOT work) to see if it was a firmware problem, the problem remains the same, it does not work through the EWS in my browser, either from the printer panel, this code you can not have.
The printer works regularly in the local network, here in this link all the configuration parameters (the firmware has been updated as mentioned in the link is the old one, but the rest of the configuration is the same).

Listener dynamic service registration not working

I just set up an Oracle 11.2 instance for the first time and, for some reason the instance would not register with the listener. Any idea for how I would debug this to isolate where the problem is?
For now I have worked around the problem by manaully editing the listener.ora to specify the SID of my instance - this works OK, so I suppose all I want to know is to learn what the problem was to avoid future frustration.
'nstrctl services'was just showing up an instance for the CLRExtProc service and not my new instance.

Some more urgent stuff has come up which means I wont be able to get back to this until later today or tomorrow, but I thought I would post the what I got from the log file, trace file. My next step is to check over Billy's other points and consult My Oracle Support.

"hit enter" does not work at EP7 logon screen

Hi!
We have an EP7 SP11 with a problem:
After the user puts his name/password on the logon screen, he hits "enter" key.
However the logon screen does not do anything.
So he has to use the mouse to click the "log on" button so that he can log into EP.

that's strange. I just checked with my portal and it is working fine. What kind of browser are you using? Did you modify the logon screen? Is it working with Firefox?

Selfie camera not working passport

Hi all. I have searched the forum for camera freezes and read all posts and fixes that were posted. . My camera worked fine untill latest update from Telus I downloaded 5 days ago. I have wiped the passport clean, hard started it, restarted it and I can not switch to take a Selfie pic. Taking pics through the back of the phone is fine. No problems. As soon as I try to switch camera direction it freezes. Please help. What am I doing wrong

RRA does not work on EP7.0 enhp1 sp05

Hi,
I am trying to configure portal federation between two portals where EP7.0 enhancement pack 1 sp05 is installed. We have configured the security as described in SAP documents and are able to test the connection and register our producer on the consumer. We are able to do remote delta links. Although we are not able to assign roles using remote role assignment. We see the alias of the producer in the UME management tool but when we browse the roles, a message is returned saying that nothing was found.
Can someone help us figure out where we could have missed something?
SP05 is quite new, was someone able to use RRA on this version?

SCCM 2007 client registration not working.

Hi guys,
i'm in the following situation. Existing SCCM 2007 server at a customers environment. Site is running in Mixed mode. Windows XP clients connected by VPN to the customers infrastructure. The only allowed communication is Port 3333 (http) and Port
3334 (https) from Windows XP to the SCCM Server for Client -> Server Communication. The client is not in the domain, has no DNS and no WINS available. Customer would like to install the SCCM Agent to these computers for hardware inventory purposes.
What I did:
Changed the SCCM Client Communication Port from 80 to 3333 (HTTP)
Changed Site Mode Settings to "Automatically approve all computers" (I know it is not recommended but for first testing, this is ok for us.
Added a host file entry on the Windows XP client to point sccm01.mydomain.local to the appropriate IP Adress of the SCCM Server.
Manually installed the SCCM client on the Windows XP client by using the following command
-> ccmsetup.exe CCMHTTPPORT=3333 CCMHTTPSPORT=3334 SMSMP=sccm01.mydomain.local SMSSLP=sccm01.mydomain.local SMSSITECODE=TST
I see that the client gets installed and shows the correct Site Code etc. but it never appears on the SCCM Server. The ClientIDManagerStartup.log shows that the registration fails:

Did you add the SCCM server name and IP in LMHOST File ? if not done please do it and check.

Registring not working ???

starting the rmiregistry in a directory that is not in the classpath, somehow prevents correct registring the remote object, since my client throws a java.rmi.NotBoundException when it looks it up.
This is too odd as it seems contrary to the dynamic stub downloading setup.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Self enrollment not working

So I'm trying MS Intune in a test environment and I can't figure out how to do Windows computer enrollment. I added users in the management portal, then I go to a user's computer, log in to the portal as a user, click the + Enroll Device, download the
software, and when it tries to install it says:
Not quite sure what I'm missing to be able to enroll systems. I tried to follow the instructions on the Intune portal and create a 'device enrollment profile' although for some reason it only seems to apply to iOS (?)

Are you trying to manage a Windows 8.1 system as a mobile device or as PC? Any version of Windows prior to Windows 8.1 cannot be managed as a mobile device. Installing the client software manages the device as a PC.
If you're trying to manage it as a PC try downloading the software from manage.microsoft.com and ensure the zip file contains the certificate file as it seems that's what the installer in your error message is looking for when it fails. The certificate
file is what tells the installer how to communicate with your Intune tenant.
Device Enrollment Profiles are only for use with iOS.
Can you please describe what you're trying to accomplish and perhaps I could be of further assistance.
