Self signed Extension not visible in Indesign CC although installed in Extension manager CC

I have a HTML Extensions which I self signed (by creating a self signed certificate) using ZxpSignCmd. I exported my Extension in ZXP format
and it got installed under Indesign CC 32 bit.
But when i open indesign and check for my extension, I cannot find it under Extensions Tab.
Pleas note that when I copy the ZXP contents in the "C:\Users\CS47\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\extensions", It appear in Indesign CC.
But i need to install it using Extension manager.
I can't find another thread with a similar issue so please let me know how to deal with this.

Renewed Self signed cert not visible in certmgr.msc

I am helping a friend's small company with their IT needs and just renewed their self signed exchange certificate. Both the old and new certs show up in the exchange management shell, but only the old cert shows up in Cert Manager MMC on the server.
Comparing the two certs in the Exchange mgmt shell, the only real difference is with the RootCAType. The old shows "GroupPolicy", and the new shows "None".
How do I get the new cert into the "Trusted Root Cert... Authorities" in certmgr.msc?

Don't do certmgr.msc that opens the user store by default. Open mmc than add snap in, certficates store and select local computer and not user.

I cannot even see the Add/Remove Snap-In option in my computer management/mmc. Also, there is no console root present. How do I fix this
Fixed it. You need to open mmc.exe and not computer management.
Steps -
search for mmc.exe, open it.
file > add/remove snap-in > Highlight certificates >
add button > snap in will always manage certificates for
== My User Account > ok.
The other options besides, are computer account, network service. I don't know their purpose.

AirPort Extreme not visible in the airport utility installed on my Imac

My AirPort Extreme is suddenly not visible in the airport utility installed on my Imac. After numerous rescans I am bordering to give up as the connection seems to be working fine when I connect it to the Imac through the ethernet cable. Any advices further than restarting the devices?

For the app Airport Utility you have to be connected to the AE wifi.
If you are not talking about the AU App, but the Airport Antenna you can do following:
disconnect AE form power, wait 10-15 seconds, turn off the Airport Antenna in your mac. Then connect the AE to power, wait till it is fully started, then turn the Airport Antenna to on again.

ACS v5.2 - New Self Signed Certificate Not Showing In Browser

I have just renewed the self signed certificate on a v5.2 ACS and expiry date of 2013 is showing in the ACS GUI. However, when I start an ACS Admin session and view the certificate information in the browser it is showing the old expiry date of 2010. I have tried this in IE and Firefox and the certificate information is the same.
Is there a way I can get the browser to pick the new certificate ?

from the screen shots it does seem to be configured OK
So I couple of suggestions
- restart browsers / clear browser cache
- if that fails consider a restart of ACS. Since this is certificate presented on web sessions maybe a restart of the web server is requried

Extensions not showing up in dwcs4 after installing successfully

I have dwcs4 & extension mgr. I have installed extensions in extension mgr. successfully according to it but when I go back into dwcs4 they do not appear under the tcn widgets tool bar. dwcs4 does appear in my extension mgr. & is highlighted in blue when I click on an extension to install it. I have noticed that the extensions do not show their individual icons next to their names but the puzzle piece instead even after I install them & get the "installed successfully" confirmation. I also notice that if I try to install them again they are still in the "c:\users\myname\documents\downloads file which I would think they should be some place else. document download. Can someone tell me how to manually place the extensions into dwcs4 so that they appear in the tcn widgets tool bar?

Adobe Extension Manager indicates that the extension is properly installed. But when I open Dreamweaver I cannot find the extension.
Is there perhaps a way to install the extension manually?

Real player extension not visible in add ons in firefox 21

the real player down loader is no longer visible in videos in you tube asnd other video sites the add ons in the fire fox tool does not have the real player add ons visible although i have the latest version of real player installed and it works fine with IE. Could someone please help me fix the problme it was working fine till yesterday. It is irritating

Solved the whole Real Player-Firefox issue. Simply go your control panel, select "Programs", under "Default Programs" click on "Change default settings for media or devices". Find Video Files and choose Real Player logo to Import Music, Video and Pictures using Real Player. Click "Save" at the bottom of the window, then closeout and restart Firefox. You should see the "Download this Video" icon in YouTube videos once again and download at will. One caveat, it seems to work great on amateur videos and the like. I had an issue downloading some music videos. It's kind of hit or miss, you will have to keep trying to download a video if it doesn't work initially. I noticed that it downloads videos as a .dash file and then Real Player downloader will convert the file to mp4 or whatever format you have it set to in your preferences. These directions are for Windows 7, you will have to find the equivalent control panel options for other Windows OS. Good luck!

Link or buttons often are not visible on some pages although I can find them by moving the cursor around in the area I expect the link to be (as in a "Checkout now" button).

This happens mainly on pages from commercial sites. For example, my online banking site. Most of page displays, but often critical stuff like an approval button is invisible even tho the link is there. I have been on the phone with a person at a commercial site who also uses Firefox and that person could see everything on the page. What settings should I check?

I have been baffled by this same problem for almost a month now. The biggest puzzlement for me was that it was occurring on internet pages whether I was using Firefox or IE 6.0. This made me think it was something in my settings but for the life of me I couldn't figure out the setting nor find any answer on the internet.... until today!

It is the high-contrast setting under Accessibility Options from Control Panel. Make sure that the High-Contrast is NOT checked.

WMV not visible in Finder after clean install

I just got a new HD and re-installed all my softawre.
QT opens everything, but Finder can't preview the files and gives me that spinning ( not beach ball ) loading icon.
Should I just re-install QT+all related software?

Airport Disk not visible on finder after Leopard install

On Finder, my Airport extreme appears but I can't see anything on my HD attached.
But if I open a terminal, I can browse my Airport disk.
Anybody have a solution?

Go to Finder = Preferences
"General" icon and check [x] Connected Servers
I had to reboot to make this work. Your mileage may vary per when the disk icon is visible.

Files not visible in Finder after Yosemite install

I have installed Yosemite. I now cannot see any of my files including applications, in Finder. I also cannot get Dropbox to start.
I run a macbook pro 15" late 2011. Used for work so need to get this fixed pretty quick.

DS6.3 replication and sun self signed certificate

1. I am creating a replication agreement using the dscc and am prompted to choose:
Authenticate using simple authentication and use a non-secure connection

Authenticate using a certificate and use a secure connection
I would like to choose the second option "Authenticate using simple authentication and use a secure connection" since I am replicating to another company division on another subnet in another building.
Does this option take into account the installed certificates? Can I do this with a sun self signed certificate that I got by default at install? And if so can I renew it if it is expired?
In my deployments I have used my own self signed certs and store bought certs. Since I know the other server has the sun cert, I was thinking I could just use that, and not do any root cert exchanges.

Yes, you can. By default the certs that come when instance is created expire in 90 days and you can renew the cert easily using certutil. But you have to change the cert's trust properties so it can be used as a client as well.
It's best you use CA signed certificates that last for longer, that way you can use it with normal apps as well. If this does not help, please post again.

Install self-signed Application without internet connection

I am in Window Xp. I build a simple adobe air application(myapp.air which is self signed). I have my PC installed with the latest Adobe Air Runtime. Disconnected from the network, And install myapp.air. The install process is finished without any error. But then I can not see any screen of my application. I can see the process is running with Ctrl+Alt+Del, but no application is running. It happen them same when I click the exe file.
I try this over different other application and found that:
1) in Marketplace which is signed do not have this problem

Navigational attribute data not visible in BEx Report

Hello All,
I am facing following problem in one of my BEx reports:
I am fetching data from an ODS. With other columns of ODS, I have also to show few navigational attributes( which are master data of some info-object) . In report the corresponding data in navigational attributes is not visible for few records, although when I see the master data of this Info-object (whose navigational attributes I have to include), in Adm. Wrkbench the data is visible. I wonder what step is missing.

While trying to activate the Infoobject's master data (by right-click) I get the following message,
"Lock NOT set for: Loading master data attributes"
And the data is not activated.

NIDaq Windows application not visible in new project

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to build a VB.NET WPF application using Measurement Studio 2013 for Visual Studio 2012.
I followed the walktrough Creating a measurement studio NIDAQmx application, but I get stuck at the point of creating the project as Visual studio does not offer me the possibility to create an NIDaq Windows application.
I have DAQmx9.8 installed for LabVIEW, I downloaded NI device Drivers 2014 feb, but still the same.
When I installed Measurement Studio, it could not find the Device Drivers, and even after downloading them and trying to install them afterwards trought the installer of measurement studio, it cannot find them.
Daqmx support for .NET 4.5 seems to be installed too, although it is not visible in the list of installed softare.

Thanks for your answer, I did a custom install and I installed .NET framework support 4 & 4.5, but I did not install Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 support, is this mandatory?
Although it is working now on some of my configurations at least.

Does the order of installation impact on visual studio integration?
Should I reinstall everything on the laptop from the begining? In which order?
It seems that NI-DAQmx 9.8.0 even with .NET support 4&4.5 is not enough, and it is mandatory to install NI Device Drivers Feb 2014, Is that correct? If yes, why?
Now the most important for me is the ability to check if the signal outputs are generated correctly on the simulated device, thus being able to see traces with NI IO trace, and none of these configurations, using both NI DAQ example or a project generated with the daq assistant, shows anything in NI IO trace.
