Selling a 'Collection' or 'Series' of Folios, not a subscription -- What are the Buying Options

We have a collection of how-to books with illustrations and interactive features we want to publish using our Pro account. Each book is set up as a folio. The books are related to each other and are used as a resource set from the app. We want to offer a multi-folio app with the core of several folios loaded in advance, and then let each customer buy additional folios if they are needed or when they become available.
-- Can we set up a multi-folio viewer app library to display only those folios that have been purchased? We would rather not have the library cluttered up with new folios with buy buttons that the customer might not want. We could put out a sample of each additional folio but we’d like the buy option to the full edition handled in a more discreet way.
-- All marketing and sales will be from our website sending people to the Apple and Android app stores so we are not that concerned about sales initiated from the app. In most cases the day-to-day user/reader is not the purchaser or decision maker about the additional folios..
-- Can we disable the archive button or have it bring up a dialog box with some options? I have read others have a problem with this also.
Any suggestions?

I would say you need a custom entitlement server that connects to your user database. We can set it up for you.
When Adobe allows customizing the library you can probably remove the Archive button as well.

Causes....a failed electical power supply component or an internal connection that has come loose.
It's a real longshot, but if you are handy with small tools, carefully saw open the case of the Express along the center seam to open up the case and look for something obvious.
Your chances of success here are very very small, but if you have the time and inclination, it won't hurt to try.

SPAppDeniedEndPoint not Working. What are the possible EndPoints?

I have used SPAppDeniedEndPoint to restrict the rest services from being accessed by other sources,
Add-SPAppDeniedEndpoint -EndPoint "/_api/web/lists"
But event after this powershell script execution, external sources were still able to access the endpoints and get data.
Is there some other settings need to be done for restricting the url from external sources.

Restricting what SharePoint Apps are allowed to access. If it isn't a SharePoint App you're dealing with, that cmdlet doesn't apply. Since you're using a mobile device, it isn't a SharePoint App.

Photoshop CS6 -Win, original purchased disc does not work. What are the options ?

After spending a frustrating hour trying to make sense of this issue and making phone calls to the appropriate number, I still have a non-working CD version of Photoshop CS6/Win that will not load. The disc is obviously corrupted. What happens now, as this program is now required. This place appears to be the only way I can get any assistance from Adobe regarding this issue.

I've used the original Pegasus R6 units for a couple of years now and have been very pleased with them. On the two occasions I've had to call on their technical sujpport, I've found them readily available, knowledgeable, and very helpful. In one case it involved the reset of a unit after a power failure at an inopportune time; in the other case it was a question about upgrading disk drives to higher capacities (1 Gb gto 4 Gb). I was pleased to learn that their tech support people were in California and as good if not better than upper-tier AppleCare reps. The hardware itself has functioned flawlessly so far.

We have tables that contain stale stats and would want to collect stats using dbms_stats with estiamte of 30%. What are the database resources that would be consummed when dbms_stats is used on a table? Also, would the table be locked during dbms_stats? Thank you.

1) I'm not sure what resources you're talking about. Obviously, gathering statistics requires I/O since you've got to read lots of data from the table. It requires CPU particularly if you are gathering histograms. It requires RAM to the extent that you'll be doing sorts in PGA and to the extent that you'll be putting blocks in the buffer cache (and thus causing other blocks to age out), etc. Depending on whether you immediately invalidate query plans, you may force other sessions to start doing a lot more hard parsing as well.
2) You cannot do DDL on a table while you are gathering statistics, but you can do DML. You would generally not want to gather statistics while an application is active.

An SER file contains serialized objects.

Desialise all objects in the file, and reserialise them to a new file, skipping the offending object.

NetMap queries network devices via SNMP for:
System information
Interface information
Bridge information
802.1X information (PAE MIB)
Routing/IP information
CDP MIB Information
This information is used to Build and maintain a model of the network topology and endpoint discovery.
NetMap uses SNMP Get, GetNext and GetBulk (when available) requests to query the SNMP agents running on the network infrastructure devices to gather specific Management Information Base (MIB) objects about their status based on device type (Layer 2 or Layer 3).
In addition to polling each network device for all MIB data at a regular interval, NetMap may also be commanded to poll port-specific information when the NAC Profiler system is notified that an endpoint has joined or left the network via SNMP traps sent by devices at the network edge, switches typically.
Upon receipt and verification of a link state (link up, link down) or MAC notification trap, NetTrap will notify the NAC Profiler Server that a change has occurred on the network edge (endpoint joined or left a network port). If the trapping device is in the NAC Profiler configuration, the NetMap component module assigned to poll the device that sent the trap will be commanded by the Server module to initiate a poll of the device's port information to determine the change to the endpoint topology that resulted in the trap being sent by the network device.
The information gathered by NetMap is processed by the Server accordingly to update the network topology, noting the endpoint joining or leaving a port. Note that NetMap SNMP polling of network devices resulting from a trap is localized to the port specified in the trap. This is unlike the regular polling that occurs at the frequency specified for each device type (L2 and L3) which gathers all SNMP information from the device used by the NAC Profiler system.
DHCP:

The NetWatch module listens for traffic including DHCP traffic.
The module will collect all the DHCP information on the traffic collected, like mac address, ip address, DHCP Vendor Class Identifier in DHCP request, host name in DHCP request, requested specified options in DHCP request (option 55) and full list of DHCP options supported by the DHCP client as specified in the DHCP request.
All the endpointe data can then be used to map endpoints with profiles.

That's where I would begin, too, with
Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.TStatus of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it saysanything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need touse autility like TechTool Pro,Drive Geniusor DiskWarrior
First we need to determine if the issue you are experiencing with the computer is software or hardware based. Once we have gotten things sorted out there should be time enough to make you decision about keeping or returning it.

Important: Follow these instructions in order. Test the camera between steps to see if the issue is resolved.
Built-in iSight cameras
These steps are for iSight cameras that are built into a computer, such as the iMac G5 (iSight) or later, the MacBook, or MacBook Pro.
See if the issue is application-specific.
Try another application (iSight works with applications like iChat, PhotoBooth, and iMovie HD 6) to see if the iSight camera exhibits the same behavior in all applications. If it only happens in one application, try reinstalling that application.
See if the issue is user-specific.
Test your iSight camera in another user account. If the issue only occurs in one user, the issue would be isolated to user settings.
Find out if the computer recognizes the iSight
Check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the iSight camera is detected.
Reset SMC or PMU
Reset your computer's SMC or PMU, and then check System Profiler again. (SMC reset instructions for iMac G5 (iSight), Intel-based iMacs; PMU reset instructions for MacBook and MacBook Pro.)

The amount of space taken by an app depends on the app's purpose; complex or graphically intense apps usually take more space than simpler apps.
