Selling on e-bay

this is my first time i sold anything on e-bay. how do i get paid.how do i know i got paid.will it go into my visa account ,that i already have on e-bay. thank you.

Your payment will be seen in your Paypal account. You can buy a shipping label from there and you may even get a discount from PO counter prices of 5% to 18% depending on the service you use. This is important because once your buyer's payment clears (and if he used PP backed with a bank account it can take up to 10 days for the e-cheque to clear) you are required to ship within 7 days. (But do it sooner!) BUT PP will hold that payment for 21 days against your performance as a seller. Again, you can print your shipping label, but you can't access the rest of the payment. Don't ship until your buyer has paid.Ship as soon as your buyer has paid. The Hold is nothing personal, it is applied to all new sellers.

  • Can I buy a phone verizon pay as you go and use it on my verizon contract?

My verizon wireless broke and I don't have insurance and I'm six months before I can qualify to renew a contract, so I'm stocked in trying to get a second hand phone, but I saw the same model of my broken phone selling in flea bay from the verizon pay as you go. My question is, can I use one of those phones to be activated on my verizon? I would hate to buy the phone and later find out that verizon won't activate it.

  • Sending PowerBook through the post....

    Hi Guys,
I have a 17" PowerBook which I am planning on selling on E-Bay.
I would need to send the PowerBook to whoever buys it, but I don't have the original packaging.
Any ideas what I can use instead?
    Thanks.

    Welcome to the discussions.
Wrap it about 3 wraps with Bubble Wrap.
Get a priority mail Box from US Postal Service, finish filling in the void with Styrafoam Peanuts. Make sure everything is tight and doesn't wiggle or move around in the box.
Or take it to somewhere like Mailboxs ETC. and let them wrap it up for you.

  • Portege M700 - Ultra Slim Bay

In the User Guide, in the equipment checklist section, it says 'Ultra Slim Bay Weight Saver (Is included with some models)'. And since i received an Ultra Slim Bay case (which is also included in some models), logically, it would also come with the Weight Saver. Because, when i remove my DVD drive to place into the Ultra Slim Bay case, there's a gaping hole left in the laptop where the DVD drive used to be. It doesn't make sense that Toshiba didn't provide the Weight Saver, does it...?
    Thanks for your help,

PS. This message was rejected by the system because it was profanity?! what is going on? it took me 7 tries till I decided to edit my message instead. What is wrong with the system? It was VERY frustrating and it doesn't tell you which part it wanted you to edit! poor code... fix it.

Im not a Portege M700 owner but I think Akuma is right. The dummy DVD dray is delivered only with models without DVD drive I think.
If you want it you can contact an authorized service provider. They can order all Toshiba parts.
Or you search on the Toshiba Accessories homepage. Maybe there you will find the part number and then you can search with Google to find some online shops they are selling that part.
    Good luck!

  • Looking for 1.5TB drive 12.5mm high for my caddy or internal bay

w520, have run out of room on my Hgst750. I have a caddy in the optical bay that will hold 12.5mm. Internal bay height the same?
Who makes a 1.5TB this height -- available now?
4276-37U -- W520. Still have an X61t. First laptop in my house was an Osborne! Now that was a cool computer. (...for its time!)

Thanks for adding the results of your search. For some reason neither item was included in my own Amazon search or the Newegg list I generated.
As a guess both of these might have come out of enclosures purchased by an operation that takes out the drives for resale. ...especially the 2TB unit which when represented on Amazon as a loose drive shows that all the three sellers are not selling me anything ever designed for retail in any form: one says the only warranty is with them, the Amazon reseller. (and that price is $70 higher -- for the privilege?) I had been reading about the practice and its downside.
I am hoping to avoid this; perhaps a few more months, a year, will find the same slim units on the more open market and guaranteed by their respective manufacturers. For now I will pass, then, and do some more aggressive culling of content off into off-line cloud storage.
Again thanks for the further search results.

  • Cannot buy Audigy 2 ZS internal drive bay from Creative

Only just got an Audigy 2 ZS and decided to get the I/O internal bay for it from Creative Uk.
Out of stock and they told me they will not be getting anymore.
Buying the card and getting the dri've bay would have cost me ?5 instead of the ?20 or more elsewhere for the Platinum(zs).
Now I wish I had gone for that instead.
Cannot get it from USA as they told me they do not ship to UK.
Apart from that I don't use credit cards and Creative Uk takes other cards.
    Any comments or ideas?

  • Aperture for sale on Bay Area Craigslist...

I was wondering if anyone has purchased aperture from <post edited by host> or <post edited by host>? They both are selling Aperture 2 on craigslist in the Bay Area, CA. I sent him an e-mail today and he requested my phone #. So I gave it to him. About 10 minutes later I received a phone call from an Asian Male stating he had a license to sell Aperture in two forms, 1) as it comes in the retail box for $150.00 and 2) as a burned CD with a license for $80.00. The whole thing sounds kinda hoaky to me so I wanted to see if anyone has done this yet and what kind of results they have had. Or if anyone knows if this is legitimate, can someone do this legally?
    Please let me know!

Given the whole value is in the license (which isn't sold on its own) this guy has nothing to offer but a pirated product.
    I'd report him.

  • If I wanted to exchange my iPhone 5 for the new iPhone 6 (no additional cost after $199 gift card from selling iPhone 5) do I have to pre-order online or do I just have to show up at a Verizon store Sept 19th?

If I wanted to exchange my iPhone 5 for the new iPhone 6 (no additional cost after $199 gift card from selling iPhone 5) can I pre-order online now or do I just have to show up at a Verizon store Sept 19th?

scodaddy, that is a wonderful question. We are super excited about the new iPhone. You can always pre-order your new iPhone online and then start the mail in rebate by following this link: http://bit.ly/GGnDDC Or you can always go into the store location and do it all in store on the 19th when the phone is launched. That would depend on if the store has them in stock when you go in. I hope that this was able to address your concern.

  • I am trying to fresh install Mavericks (it gives me no other choice) on my erased MacBook Pro HD prior to selling on. It does not give me choice to use any other OS. Yet Mavericks is not available. ?? What to do please?

I wish to sell my 2008 MacBook Pro. Have erased hard disk and when I went to fresh instal Mavericks OSX 10.6 (it gives me no other choice in the disk utility program) It says in the Apple Store, it is unavailable. But because this is done from disk utility there is no operating system or access to choose another OS eg Yosemite.  I cannot download anything using my iMac as that came ready loaded with Yosemite, so it does not show as a purchase. I do not want to use the Time Machine backup as that has all my details, apps etc. in it.    Would the best way be to purchase a disk containing Mavericks the OS that was on it most recently. Can anyone offer advice please?

You need to re-install the OS the computer shipped with using the disks that were supplied with the computer. Contact Apple Support and have the serial number of your computer available. They will send you new disks for a small fee.

  • What steps to I have to take when selling my iPhone?

I am selling my iPhone 4S for the iPhone 5, and I want to make sure that all of my data is cleared from the 4S before the buyer uses it.  I see that there are a couple of options under setters to reset the phone, so what one do I choose to use?  Should that make the phone safe to sell, so that the new owner will not have any connections to my Apple ID?  Also, what do I do with the SIM card?  I know the iPhone 5 uses a new SIM, but on the 4S, do I take it out and keep it, or leave it in the phone when I sell it?

Step 1. Settings --> General --> Erase all Content and Settings
    Step 2. Remove SIM card
    Step 3. Sell it.

  • Satellite P200-1EE Can I install a 2nd hard disk in the spare bay?

    First of all, hi everyone!
I have the above model laptop, and it has a spare disk bay. There are pin connectors at one end, but it does not seem like the drive will fit. It's like there is a component missing - like the connector slot housing for the 1st drive. I have bought a 500GB drive, and have tried seeing whether it would fit. The 1st drive has a metal caddy attached, and that did not work either.
Is it possible to fit a 2nd drive to this model? If so, what would I need to do it?
    Thanks!
    Andy

    Hi
If you have a connector in second HDD bay you can add a second HDD. But you will need such a metal caddy as on the first HDD. Therefore you can contact an authorized service provider because you can get all spare parts from them.
On the Toshiba website is a list of all ASPs, check this!!!

  • Boot Camp on MBP internal drive (disk1), attempts to boot off CD bay drive (disk0).

Hi. I have an early 2011 MBP running the latest version of Mavericks with two internal SSDs. The HD bay has a 1TB (disk1) and the CD bay has a 512MB (disk0). Boot Camp is installed on the 1TB. When I boot up the system and hold down the Option key, I see Windows as a boot option. If I select it, however, it starts to boot and then goes immediately to a black screen with a white underline cursor blinking in the upper left. It remains like this until I reboot.
After spending a lot of time looking into the cause of this problem, I've come to the conclusion that the system is confused by the drive in the CD bay and is attempting to boot from it before it attempts to boot off the drive in the HD bay. I installed Boot Camp originally by using Boot Camp Assistant to partition the drive and then using WinClone to copy over a previous Boot Camp partition. I'm pretty rusre that as a result, one of the following two things is happening:
Whatever setting Boot Camp Assistant made to tell the Windows install DVD to boot first is still in effect and Boot Camp is attempting to boot from the CD bay.
The Boot Camp partition is set from the previous drive it was on to boot from disk0, which is now being assigned to the drive in the CD bay.
To test these theories, I've unplugged the drive in the CD bay and rebooted, at which point Boot Camp boots perfectly off the drive in the HD bay.
The drive in the CD bay is set to a single HFS+ partition. I've looked at the GPT and MBR on both drives and they seem fine (the Boot Camp partition is bootable). Does anyone have any idea what I'm missing here?
    Thanks in advance.
    Craig

Still having issues, any suggestions would probably be helpful.

I know that I have a failure with the IO::Socket::INET6 also.
I am also not getting (never have gotten) the BAYES tag when I look at the Raw Source on Spam Emails. I am assuming that error above could be the issue.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I love this discussion group and it has helped me out of a bind more than once!
Thanks in advance for your time.

Now I am still concerned about the error I listed above about the Bayes DB. Any help would be great.

  • Mid 2007 iMac SSD in optical bay - cannot write to last block of device

    Hi All,
I've just replaced my optical drive in my 20" mid 2007 iMac (Dual core, 2.4 Ghz, 2 Gb RAM running Mavericks) with a solid state drive (Crucial MX100). The plan is to transfer my boot disk to this drive while keeping my 1 Tb HDD for media and such.
I followed the ifixit guide and it all went smoothly, however when I try to partition or erase the new SSD using Disk Utility, it tells me "Operation failed - cannot write to last block of the device". After googling, I found some answers here that suggested the optical bay cable may be faulty, so I bought a replacement and swapped it in, but no such luck, same problem. I also saw some threads suggesting that the boot disk should be in the original hard drive spot, but since this isn't the boot disk (yet) this shouldn't be the issue.
My computer recognizes the new SSD but won't allow me to partition it. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
    Thanks!

    3. The new disk is just bad.
OK. If that's the case, I'll just get another disk.
Lots of problems with that hybrid drives on Mac's on these forums, get another one that's 7,200 RPM and from Western Digital, not Seagate.
With a 7,200 RPM you get more performance across the entire drive, not just what's cached in the small flash portion of the hybrid.
    https://discussions.apple.com/community/notebooks/macbook_pro?view=documents#/
    1. Hybrid drives: I'm on number 8 in 6 different machines, no problems at all, what happens when you try?
    2. The OP is not using a Hybrid.
    3. Lot's of problems with WD drives not booting on these forums though.

  • Which HDD in Optical Bay of 15" Mid-2009 MBP?

    Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me decide the best drive to install in the opti bay of my mid 2009 15" macbook pro (2.8 intel core 2 duo).
I recently upgraded to 8gb ram and switched out the original drive to a Samsund SDD and the results have been AWESOME (**see below if considering)! I'd now like to install a 1TB hard drive into the opti bay.
Does anyone have an opinion on the following:
    1) What's the best drive for this?
    2) Will I get the 3.0gb transfer rate if I get a SATA II drive?  (I currently get 3.0gb rate with the SSD in the main bay.)
    3) Will the sound be unbearable?
    4) Will it overheat or make the fans perpetually run? (I had fan issues previously that were mostly solved with the upgrade, though they do still run often...any suggestions to solve this are also welcome.)
    5) Any suggestions on an optical bay adapter?  I've seen quite the gamut on Amazon.
I plan on using the 1TB opti-bay drive for storing all of my music, movies, documents, photos, etc.  All apps/programs will be on the SDD.
Thanks in advance for any help!
**Side note for anyone considering a SDD+RAM update, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's truly like using a new machine!  I use a 2012 retina MBP (2.3 intel core i7, SSD, 8g RAM) at work and the difference in speeds are marginal (though I do wish I got the same battery life).  Highly recommend the upgrade for anyone interested! Parts below:
    SSD - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3W19MO/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&p sc=1
    RAM - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008LTBJFM/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&p sc=1

Yes, your MacBook will run hotter and the fans will kick in more often. Only you can decide if it is acceptable.
I suggest you can start by using the drive that you removed from your MBP and see if the heat & noise are within tolerable limits.
Mechanical hard drives will not max out the sata interface. You can expect 80-100 MB/s with a mechanical hard drive.
Most users recommend the OWC Datadoubler caddy for the optical bay available here.
    Good luck.
