Selling Powermac G4: What do I need to do?

I have a 500mhz 256 RAM Powermac G4 that I am going to sell. What is the best way to go about selling it. More specifically, what should I do to as far as removing any old stuff from the HD? I am selling it as is with the monitor, keyboard, tower and cd burner. I guess I am mostly worried about saved passwords and such. I know I can go into the keychain and erase passwords and what not, but is there anything else I should be aware of? Also, what would be a fair price to offer/expect for this computer? Thanks!

Do a deep-wipe of the hard drive - if it is an ATA type drive, use the zero-all-data option; I think some of the later versions of OSX's Disk Utility also offer an 8-times overwrite of the drive.
These take a while, but are a far more secure erasure of the drive than a simple deletion. A deletion of data, or even a simple erasure of the drive, actually does not remove any data; it just removes the directory entry for the data - a savvy computer person can still retrieve the data itself.
After doing that, as a matter of courtesy for the new owner, install a fresh OS on the drive. Including the machine's original disks is a good thing to do when you transfer a machine to a new owner.

If there is any stuff on the drive that you absolutely do not want anyone to be able to retrieve, then physically destroy the hard drive (a sledgehammer is a good tool for that) and replace it with a new one.

What do I need to do to get Applecare+ or to Transfer it?

So, I'll be getting a Macbook Pro second hand from craigslist where I live (Vancouver), very soon. I checked the serial number of the Macbook someone was selling and it says there is warranty until August 10, 2014, and that the macbook is eligible for applecare+. I know that the person has to factory reset the Macbook and install the original OSx that came with the Macbook since downloaded OS is not transferable. I was wondering, if I were to get applecare+ on the Macbook, what would I need?
Second question is, another Macbook pro I am looking at currently, I looked up the serial number and it has Applecare+ on it until October of 2015. What steps do I need to take to transfer the Applecare+ over to my name?

All you will need to do is buy AppleCare before the original one year warranty expires. You can buy it online from Apple or take the computer to one of the local Apple stores such as Simply Computers. All you need is the computer's serial number and model ID.
Only the seller can make a transfer of AppleCare to a new owner. This involves the seller removing the computer from his list of registered products so that you can add it to yours: Your Support Profile for Registered Purchases.
Remember that AppleCare is tied to the computer, not to the owner of the computer.

Replace ? with HDMI or VGA or DVI.
Know that TVs spave pixels further apart, for viewing at 10-15 ft instead of close as monitors do. Makes viewing small text at 10 ft difficult sometimes.
Another poster also recently reported that using the mouse on the external display is "laggy". Some models of Mac have only a graphics card integrated into the CPU (which can be challenged by running a big external TV) and some have a "discrete" or "second" graphics card that handles TVs better.

Just do a clean install of the system, make sure it does not keep a copy of your old system. If don't want to leave any trace, while installing the system go to disk utility and format the hd (0 level format)

Not to contradict what you refer to as a "blessing", but both of those machines are pretty unsuitable for anything video-related (by today's standards, there' pretty unsuitable for anything). If you're strapped for cash, find a PowerMac/iMac G4 (at least) on eBay with at least an 800mHz processor, 60GB HD, 756MB RAM, and OS 10.3 (Panther). If you can afford it, get Final Cut Express too, but if not, iMovie should come with the Mac.
Bear in mind none of this is "for the long run: (but in this industry, nothing ever is). It's just the bottom line to edit simple video.

Get the Apple USB Superdrive. It is available on the Apple store page of the Apple web site. Just look under storage on the left hand column under accessories for the Mac. $79. I have one since I have a lot of DVD's and CD' s. I burn DVD's made from movies created with iMovie. Works fine. You may be able to find one cheaper at Other World Computing.
BTW, you can expect that future computers will not have optical disk drives. This is definitely true for Apple and I suspect other mfgrs will also as we move more into streaming video and downloading of apps rather than selling CD/DVD versions.

Upgrading RAM and your HD will give you some performance gains, but depending on what you are doing, it may not be enough. Your best friend will always be processor speed. This has a direct relation to how many cores and the speed of the RAM.
However, if you are unable to spring for a new computer, then the options of running more RAM and a biggger, faster HD should ruduce some bottle necks.

Hi you have basicly 2 Options.
1 -if you Switch One fotostream on all 3 devices of yours which are working on the same apple id -all Fotos you Take with your iPad will be synchronized via icloud to the other 2 decvices ( w-lan and battery depending).
2- If you select foots or a whole album in iPhoto on your air or iMac and choose than puplish --> fotostream --> new or existing event you can key in a friends mail. If this friend has iCloud and iPhoto ( for iMac or MacBook ) and click on the link in the email it will download this fotos in the fotostream section in iPhoto. If he has a iPad, iPhone,... It will do it in the foto app and if he doesn't have a iCloud account at all and you choose "public web site" while publishing he can see your fotostream on a website.

Are you talking about the English dictionary? Mine seems to work ok on the AZ republic web page. Does yours not work on all webpages? Does it not work when you type an English word in Notes and then do select and define?

Assuming you've done a system wide search for it including the Applications folder and it's not there......
I think you will need to address this with them - did you pay them for the application? Or was your purchase price to include it? And the question(s) to ask them:
If the app store states that it has been downloaded, ask them where it is and which Apple ID they used. (the store keeps track of Apple IDs and machine IDs on everything you download).
I have absolutely no faith in their advice; however, in this case, it's not so much technical advice, but an answer to your questions: you paid for something and it appears not to be there.
