SEM CPM - Dump when i tried to assign a variable

Hi Gurus,
Im working with SEM-CPM and i facing the following issue:
When i tried to assign a CPM variable in design mode it show up the following DUMP (during the preview of the Frame) :
"MESSAGE_TYPE_X" C- "ADD_DATA_TO_BUFFER"
Does anybody knows how can i fix this ?

ST22 DUMP When I tried to change settings in se03 transaction

We are facing some troubles after we done an upgrade ECC EP6, In the "old system" when we try to change settings to "no modificable" in transaction se03 appears the following dump (we have the same issue in both systems (new and old)), I show you in the next screens:

It's in recovery mode. Plug it into they computer you sync with and restore it.

Short dump when assigning revision to notification (iw22)

The dump occurs when we save after assigning a revision. We have the lollowing message:

Include LCOBHIC2, line 39
The OSS note 1101437 doesn't solve our problem.

I tried your tests.
I haven't a dump neither for the first test nor for the second one.
The dump occurs only when:
- I create a notification
- i create an order and assign it to this notification.
- i save the notification and the order
- i assign a revision to the notifiaction and save
There isn't dump if i assign revision number before the order creation. In fact, the dump only occurs if a assign a revision number after the assignment of the order to the notifiation.
I'm checking user exit.

    Error in the ABAP Application Program
    The current ABAP program "SAPLDSVAS_PROC" had to be terminated because it has
    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
    An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
    The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR', was
     not caught in
    procedure "LOAD" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
    exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
    The reason for the exception is:
    During import the system discovered that the target object has
    a different length than the object to be imported.

Hello Neni
According to the information I saw in that post it could be caused by a sort of inconsistency of the program code vs a structure.
Wether that is a bug that is in your SAP Solution Manager release or something that is caused by administrative actions (perhaps solving SPAU entries after SP stack update or upgrade) I cannot tell.
I would recommend you either try and find a relative SAP note (narrowing down result to only your SAP Solution Manager system) and searching using the dump keywords. If you cannot find anything I would recommend you to open a customer message so SAP can take a look at the specific error.
If you give more information, perhaps someone on the forum can help you out abit better, which SAP Solution Manager version and so on.
You also didn't answer my question, any recent changes you are aware of ?

In R12, when I am trying to assign a job to my name, i am getting an error(APP-PER-07510: You cannot continue, Future changes exist).
my user was end dated. i deleted that end date and trying to working on that, i can create a new user and will work on that user also but that problem is, we have my company unique id , based on that only user should be created.so, what ever i have user id, it had been created and i dont have any scope to create new user.
simply to say i have to user my end dated user only, how can i use it in feature also.
Please help me to come out form this situation.

Are you using "Shared" HR? You can refer to note >1074384.6 on Metalink for a resolution to this issue. If you are using the full install of HR then refer to note > 786785.1 on Metalink

When trying to assign IP reservation in IPAM, Domain does not appear in Forward lookup zone drop-down list

I am trying to assign reserved IP Addresses through IPAM that is installed on a Server 2012 OS. Here is the procedure I have been following:
Login to IPAM server
Open Server Manager
In left-hand column select IPAM
In left-center column expand IP ADDRESS SPACE
Select IP Address Range Groups
Right-click the appropriate address range and select Find and Allocate Available IP Address
In new window, scroll down to Basic Configurations
I can input the basic configurations with no problem. DHCP Reservation Synchronizations look good too. But when I get down to DNS Record Synchronization, I can't do anything with the Forward lookup zones because nothing appears in the drop-down
lists and I cannot manually enter the zone name. Here is a screen shot of what I see at this point:
Without completing this information, I cannot complete the Address Reservation.
Any help or insight will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tom,
This happens if your DNS servers that are managed by IPAM are not authoritative and primary for any zones, if they are not authoritative for the appropriate zones, or if there are not any DNS servers managed by IPAM.
See the examples below. Here my DNS server is authoritative for 4 forward zones and 2 reverse zones. I can choose any of the forward zones but assuming I pick a range such as 10.0.1.0, I would be unable to choose the 168.192.in-addr.arpa zone because the
IP addresses do not match.

I created generic data source based on Function Module. I went to RSA3 to test the extraction and I got this error message when I tried to enter a date as input selection in date field or any other selection field
If I test the extraction without any input I get correct results.
Whats the reason for this error?

Short Dump when trying to open C-project due to status

Hi,
We have a daily batch job in CRM that reports all the project ID's and
sends e-mails out to recipients.
As part of this report it retrieves the statuses for the project ID's,
however the report short dumps when retrieving the status for one of
the projects because it is not finding an active status.
When we try and open the project in C-projects we get the same short
dump error: CX_DPR_FATAL_ERROR so we cannot view or update the status.
When we investigate this issue we find that in table CRM_JCDS there are
3 entries for this project ID. One of the statuses is inactive (I1703)
but there is another status that is active (I1701). The two status
entries were created at exactly the same date and time and by the same
user.
In table CRM_JEST there is only one entry shown which shows an inactive
status and we believe this to be the wrong status. Please can you
advise if this status conflict is causing the problem and also how to
resolve this issue?

Hi Paul,
generally, the project and its elements must have an active status in table CRM_JEST, however, at this point it is not clear how this inconsistency arised. There is no SAP standard report or a 'generally valid' solution that could solve this issue, however, I found a customer message that you have opened in September with exactly the same problem. A colleague from the development team already provided you with a correction report, but there was no feedback from your side if it helped or not.
It is very difficult to provide help as inconsistencies can have several different causes, so the best would be to have this checked in a customer message with an example.

Error when trying to assign Function Key as Service menu shortcut

When I try to assign Control-Option-F15 to a Service Menu item in System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts I get the following error in the Console:

Is it possible to assign function keys as keyboard shortcuts to Service menu items?

I have the same problem (though I didn't look in the Console): I try to assign F8 to one of my services and the shortcut just stays blank. However, I have found a work-around:
1. Leave the shortcut for the service blank, but make a note of the name -- in my case, "iTunes- PlayPause".
2. Go to "Application Shortcuts" on the left of the Keyboard Shortcuts preference pane.
3. Add an item under "All Applications" giving it the name of your service (eg. "iTunes- PlayPause") and you can then assign a function key as the shortcut (eg. F8).
Since the service appears in the application's "Services" menu, it will now have the shortcut assigned uner "All Applications". An annoying bug, but at least there's a workaround.

SEM CPM - Link a Query in Web Mode

Im working with SEM-CPM ; i can't add a link to a query in web mode ; i have tried this :
1)Add URL ; works fine but i cannot add the URL dinamycally in order to take the local server ; for example when i transport to QAS then links points to DEV.
2)Add Query : execute the query in Excel.
How can i add a link to a report in order to executed in Web Mode ?

Hi,
You have to assign the URL of the respective Query Link as per the connectivity of
the server..if it is DEV then you can specify only DEV Query link with DEV Web Browser connectivity..and similar to PRO..
I think you cannot cross link the URL - Query Links with DEV to PRO or visa versa..

I am getting dump when I try to sum the CURR field in my ALV Grid Display. The field is of CURR 23. I am using classes and methods to display alv grid.
I tried passing <fs_fieldcat>-do_sum = 'X'. When I did this, it is dumping without even displaying the alv grid.

Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
