SEM Planning functions (Already checked the BPS Forum)

We installed BW 3.5 which I now see the BW-BPS planning functions.
Then we installed SEM 4.0 and I see another BPS menu item.
Does the BPS0 transaction now contain all the SEM planning functions or just those limited to BW-BPS.

You would be able to see the additional Planning Functions one you are using the Planning Workbench(BPS0).
When using the Planning functionality in this transaction, you would be able to use the additional Planning functions that come as part of SEM.

Enhance planning function type exit in BPS

Hello,
I have 2 questions concerning planning functions type exit in BPS:
1. Is there any way to do a check, if the data is from the selection of the planning package itself or created in the planning function, when looping over the XTH_DATA table. I mentioned, that the loop is done also over the newly created data. Now, I copy the XTH_DATA into a working version, add the data to it and assign it afterwardws.
2. I create new lines of data in the planning function. These lines can also contain data, which is not in the package selection. Now I need a condition for not writing the data, which checks, if the data can be added to the XTH_DATA or otherwise skips this particular line.
Background is, I don't want to read the variable values from the package selection to keep it more generic.
Hope anyone of you can help me solving these problems. Thanks in advance...

Hello Jerrit,
there's no indication in XTH_DATA if data was already existing or is new. You have to program this logic yourself.
The selection of the planning package is passed to the exit in ITO_CHASEL. So you do not have to read the package or variables. However, checking data (XTH_DATA) against this selection can be quite performance intensive. If you are dealing with high data volumes such a check will probably take too long.

Homesharing stops when the computer sleeps. Already checked the " wake for access" and already changed the computer sleep to never.

I have tried everything I could to fix this, but some things require actually being on Firefox, and since I cannot get on, I cannot click on the tabs to do it. I have even totally uninstalled firefox, and that has not fixed this. I still get the same message that firefox is running and I need to close it or restart (which I have also tried dozens of times). I have removed things like Java, and that has not helped either. If I cannot even get on line in firefox, how can I fix this. I am not crazy about using internet explorer, but right now, it is my only option. I even tried to start in safe mode, and the same message box pops up!

Any function to check the input value is integer?

May I know if there's any function to check the input value is integer in Form 4.5?

If you are not getting any sound from the speaker, follow this article.

Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.

Executing the planning function while opening the web interface

I have created a planning area based on multiprovider.This multiprovider is based on two transactional cube ie,COPA cube and Cost Center cube.
This planning area is meant for enabling integrated planning.One plans in COPA cube and other plans in Cost Center cube the income statement gets planned based on this two.
I selected planning items in multiprovider layout to display the income statement.The layout is as follows:
PlanningItem Amount
Net Sales: 9.000,00 INR (This comes from COPA)
Sales Overheads: 200,00 INR (This comes from Cost Center)
Depreciation: 200,00 INR (This comes from Cost Center)
Other Expenses: 300,00 INR (This comes from Cost Center)
EBIT: 0,00 INR
Interest Income: 0,00 INR
Interest Expense: 0,00 INR
Operating Income: 0,00 INR
Taxes: 0,00 INR
Now EBIT planning item is to be calculated from the planning items as follows:
EBIT = Net Sales-Sales Overheads-Depriciation-Other Expenses
For this i have created a planning function which calculates EBIT.This function works properly,there are no issues in it.
My problem is that i want this function to be executed as soon as i open the web interface for my planning application and the result should be as follows:
PlanningItem Amount
Net Sales: 9.000,00 INR (This comes from COPA)
Sales Overheads: 200,00 INR (This comes from Cost Center)
Depreciation: 200,00 INR (This comes from Cost Center)

Hi Yogesh,
as far as i know, there is no standard functionality for that purpose, but there are workaround for it.
1. Modify the BSP Application.
 Go to SE80 --> Repository Browser --> BSP Application --> your WI name --> page with flow logic --> double click on page1.htm --> Event handler tabstrip --> on the drop down selection press F1 --> add a function module that call you BPS function in specific event (e.g: OnInitialization).
2. Use WI-Exit Class / WI-Extention (ABAP OO).
Here you need to create sub class from Class: CL_UPWB_BSP_APPL, and assign the class to your WI. You can then add a function module that call you BPS function in method:
2.1. Load --> performed only once on intial execution of WI.
2.2. Initialisation --> called once for each server response.
2.3. Dispatch --> called at each action and also for each WI component.

You can call your BPS function with BPS API FM (See F.Group: UPC_API)
But there is also more easier way to realize your ebit calculation. If you define your EBIT calc. manually in layout (define with manually defined Lead column). With this way, You will always get your EBIT analog with inputed values.
Then you add your EBIT calc.function to Layout Component in WI in property: 'Function After Data Change'.

How to stop the web site redirection at its background mode? I have already checked the feature but it still went youtube in google search?

It is always found my webpage have been redirected to other web pages at its browser background (until I need to check the cookies so that I can be able to know where it have been redirected to at its background (hidden) after browsing websites). For example, in a simple demonstration, during the google search or going to my email account, it always goes to youtube at its background even though there has been a warning showing on the firefox page during the browse. However, the time allowed me to response is always too short, just one or 2 seconds. Even I have already clicked to stop it (not clicked "allowed" but "X"), it still was redirected.

Could you try disabling all extensions on the following page unless you know them to be both safe and essential:
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category
Also, check whether you have an unexpected proxy setting:
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced > Network > "Settings" button

I need a function to check the validation of a psp element

explaining: I have a dialog with a char field to enter the psp element. In PAI i want to check the psp element via RFC function in another system.

The BAPI name says PROJECT, but it also validates WBS. Use the code as below:

Dear experts,
Can u please help on the following case!
when we do MRP run for any material, planned orders are getting generated on the particular date as per our PIR. once we got the planned order, we are converting to production orders to the defined date.
Is it possible to get the production order dates by checking work centre capacities?
even if capacity is full, production orders are getting generated on the particular day,we are not able to produce the item as defined on the day as capacity is full on the workcentre.ultimately customer is not happy as dispatch is not taking place in time.
how will we configure this case in the system to enable timely dispatches or timely intimation to the customers for delay in dispatch?

Why wont my firefox homepage open when i open firefox. Ive already checked the settings and everything seems normal

When I open up Firefox the page is blank. I have to click on the tool bar to open it. Never did this before. In general options, it says on start up, "when firefox starts" And I have it set to "show my home page" Page is still blank.

Could you describe in a bit more detail what you mean by clicking on the toolbar to open your home page: are you clicking the Home button, or using reload, or using a bookmark?
Does the same problem occur when you open a new window (Ctrl+n), or only when you use your Firefox desktop icon?

Check whether the shortcut specifies any command-line parameters. Here's what I mean:
right-click the icon > Properties > Shortcut tab
The "Target" line should be selected. That line should not have any extra stuff after the following:
32-bit Windows:

64-bit Windows:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
If you see extra text after that, clear it out, save your change, and try the shortcut again. Any improvement?

How do I transfer my music from my laptop to my iPhone? I've already checked the sync only checked songs and videos box, the manually manage music and videos box. I only want to sync the songs I checked, but it transfers all the music.

I dont want to transfer all the music just the checked ones. My macbook transfers all the music from my library to my iphone. I dont get it. Please if you could help that would be terrific.

User defined function to check the NULL and 0.00 value in a Amount field

Hi Experts,
I have one scenario in which i have amount field in Data type.
I have to create one UDF which will do the following thing.
1. If the amount field is Null it should throw an exception in mapping.
2.If the amount field is 0.00 it should throw an exception in mapping.
3. For all other cases it should pass the amount value to the target.
Can anyone provide me the code For this UDF.

You can add this logic to the UDF. Here var1 is the input string.

Try a reset on the device. This will have no affect on your data. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot.
