Send a FAX through F110 transaction

I.m a FI Consultant and I don´t know very much about programming , so I have to know how to send a FAX through the F110 transaction and I imagine I need to use programming, so please could you help me telling the response step by step?

Hi,
Copy the standard program that generates the output (probably RFFOUS_T) to a custom program.
Change the print program name in FBZP from RFFOUS_T to your custom program.
One option: you can add a communication method in the selection screen of this custom program and based on that modify the code in the program to send the output as a fax.
or even without the Communication method on the selection screen, modify the code in the program to read the communication type and number from the Vendor Master record and use the standard func module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send fax.

Hi Olga,
For customers, to use different interest rates, and calculate the interest amount in the payment file created by transaction F110, program RFFOBR_A, you need to:
1) Go to "Define Interest Calculation Types", in customizing (SPRO).
2) Go to "Define Reference Interest Rates" in customizing (SPRO).
3) Go to "Define Time-Based Terms" in customizing (SPRO).
4) Go to Enter Interest Values in customizing (SPRO).
After, go to the customer master data, Company Code data, folder account management and fill the field "Interest Indicato" with the code created in the step 1 above.
When you run the proposal, the payment file will have the interest amount calculated considering the billing amount and the interest rate defined to the customer.

Cannot send/receive Fax through Windows Fax and Scan

Having a problem with Windows Fax and Scan on Small Business Server 2011 Standard SP1. When I call the fax number, I can see the line ringing in the Fax Status Monitor, but it errors out with "The incoming call cannot be answered as a fax
call". I've also tried sending and receive an error: "No dial tone was detected" I've connected a regular phone to the line and placed an outside call and received a call from an outside line. No errors are logged in Event
Viewer, but If I check the Server Roles, Fax Server shows Event ID 32092, 32032 and 32031
Troubleshooting so far has consisted of:
Restarting Fax service
Removing/Readding the Fax Account in Windows Fax and Scan
Checked Print Spooler and Fax queue for held documents to clear (none)
Uninstalled/reinstalled the fax modem in Device Manager
Run Windows Update(several security updates pending)
Checked the DeviceToMonitor key in HKCU to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fax\UserInfo matches the DeviceName key in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fax (at one point it did not match)
Removing/Readding the Fax Role. In the process, also removing registry keys: HKLM_SOFTWARE_MICROSOFT_FAX, HKCU_Software_Microsoft_Fax, HKLM_SOFTWARE_Microsoft_Windows_CurrentVersion_Telephony_CountryList, HKLM_SOFTWARE_Microsoft_Windows_CurrentVersion_Telephony_Locations.

On current situation, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot. Then check if can find more clues
and help us to solve this issue.
Please verify if the incoming fax can be received from other fax machines.
For modem, please temporarily reduced the speed to 4800bps for the Fax software.
Please increase the
Rings before answering value for the fax device to 2 rings in Shared Fax Service Manager.
Just for a test. Would you replace the old modem with a new one? Then monitor the result.

I had a requirement to FAX various kinds of documents like PDF WORD etc through FAX in Purchase Order.
It has to be accessed from Document Management System.

Hi Saurabh,
You got standard way to do it . First your message has to be set to be send by Fax ( check in transaction NACE for this or check with your functionnal consultant ) .
After you have to make some technical customizing in transaction SCOT in order to configure Fax connexion from SAP and then set the file fomrat you want for fax.
Remember that if you want to send Fax directly from SAP, SAP need to be connected to a Fax Card or a Fax Server .

I am trying to generate IDOCS for the payment run through F110 transaction. I have setup the following but still unable to generate the IDOCS.
- Bank partner setup with IDOC PEXR2001 and message PAYEXT.
- House bank configuration.
Can anyone help me with the complete set of instructions to generate the idocs?

Configuration to send the smartform through fax

Hi,
I have used CONVERT_OTF_AND_FAX and SO_OBJECT_SEND FM's to send the smartform through fax.After executing SO_OBJECT_SEND function module,I am getting sy-subrc alue as 9(OBJECT_NOT_SEND).I am able to send the document through fax.But when I click on display in SOST transaction it is just printing the output of the smartform.It is not coming in PDF format.
The code looks fine.I think there is some problem with confuration settings.Is there any configuration to be done to send the smartform output through fax?

Actually,my requirement is to send the smartform output through email with medium 'external send'.I have done some coding for that.it is working fine and I am able to send the smartform through email and open the attachment in PDF format.
But if the email id of the recipient is not present then the smartform output has to be sent through fax with the same medium 'external send'.
So I have done some coding to send the smartform through fax when the email id is not present.
I am able to send the output of smartform through fax.But when I clicked on display in SOST transaction,it is not coming in PDF format.It is coming in RAW format.
Is it possible to send the smartform output through fax with medium 'external send'?

I need to send smartform output through email if the email address is present else if the email address is present then it has to be sent through fax.If both the email address and fax are present,then it has to send an email.
Now the issue is I am able to send the email and I am getting the message as 'Output was successfully issued'.But the entry corresponding to this is not shown in SOST transaction.
Can anyone tell me what would be the reason for this?

Problem while sending fax through a SAP Smart Form

I am trying to send fax through a smartform but it is not working, please see the details below.
I am calling the Function Module "SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME" in a PAI event. After storing the FM name "/1BCDWB/SF00000029"in a local variable "ls_frm_name", I am using that for printing the Form and at the same time to fax out the same by passing the following export parameters.
control_parameters type ssfctrlop with values

la_ssfctrlop_struc-no_dialog   = 'X'.

along with "fax_details = ls_zap1_fax_details" declared as interface parameters to the Smart Form.
But the Function Module is throwing following exception and not sending any Fax.

SY-MSGV1-->NOAUTHORITYCHECK
Do I need to pass any other values to the FM, I felt that this is not an authorization problem after debugging.
Can any one please help me in handling this exception and send the fax,

In INT_FAX internal table we have two fields one is tdformat second one is tdline
The lengh of the TDLINE is 132 char,Initially for all reocords we have only 108 char length,But according to user requirement we added one more field in taht
Now the lengh increased to 132 for each records.
When i checked in debugg mode the INT_FAX internal table have all 132 characters.
The problem is while checking in SOST trnasaction it is showing 108 characters in one line and remaining in second line,can you please help on this.

"Let others send fax through this computer" - problem: modem not showing up

I have a macbook that does not have an internal modem for faxing. I am using another networked mac in our office that has an internal modem for faxing. I have set up the printing and fax preferences to "let others send faxes through this computer" on the mac that can fax. It has worked in the past, but this morning when I went to fax from my macbook, I cannot see the modem in the mac that can fax. I have also checked with other macs in the office and they can't see it either. Network is okay, I can access the computer through connect to server, I have repaired permissions, restarted and still no modem showing up or shared printers showing up. I have not updated anything on the mac that can fax. Any ideas?

Strange, not sure why it's not showing up.
Have you confirmed that the fax printer is working on the host Mac? Maybe try turning off the sharing and deleting the existing Fax Printer in the Fax List with /Applications/Utilities/Printer Setup Utility, and creating the Fax Printer again, and turn on sharing again.

Cannot send fax through Apple modem

In Tiger I regularly sent out faxes through my external Apple modem. However, after upgrading to Leopard, I can no longer send out faxes. Instead I get a "Preparing to send the fax document" message, but it never sends it out.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is this a known bug in Leopard?

HOW TO SEND FAX THROUGH INTERNAL MODEM

I am trying to use my computer to send a recieve faxs. I am connected to the internet via infar red port. And I am under the impression I can use my internal modem to send and receive faxes.
I have hooked the phone socket to internal modem input on my Lap top and have tried many times to send and receive but it says my modem is not set up.
Looking in prefs it is not set up, but it wants a telephone number for dial up.
I have broadband so have no idea about a telephone number for dial up.
Is there a way to set the modem up to receive and send faxes and still be connected to broadband internet?

If you want to use the modem to send and receive faxes, then you don't want to have the Network trying to control it, you should disable the modem port in the Network prefs and use only the Ethernet port. You can use the Network prefs to troubleshoot to ensure that the modem is in working condition, but you can't have the network dial-up taking control of the modem at the same time as you want to be waiting for a fax or sending a fax. This can cause the modem to get hung, and you will get the waiting behavior that you described.
You should just be able to receive faxes by checking the "Receive faxes on this computer" button in the Print & Fax Prefs. If you had an external modem you could see some activity lights come on as soon as you check the box as it goes into standby to answer a call mode, with an internal the only way to know it's working is to send yourself a fax.
To send a fax, I think you might need to configure a Fax printer, if you don't seem to have one already. Click the "Setup Fax Modem..." button at the bottom of that Print & Fax Prefs. IF you launch /Applications/Utilities/Printer Setup Utility can you select from the View Menu: Show Fax List and does anything show up in the list? You should have a Fax List and fax printer in that list similar to your Printer List and whatever printer you have installed.
To check if the modem is even working you may have to use some modem terminal utility like ZTerm that will let you type simple commands and check the modem response. For example AT should result in an OK. With the internal you can't check the activity lights to see if you are receiving data or sending data, so I'm not sure how else you can verify the internal modem is actually functioning. It might be worthwhile checking that first, or if you know you can use it for dial-up, I still use my modem as a backup for when DSL goes out (rarely).

Send faxes through Microsoft Shared Fax Services

Does anyone know if it is possible to fax from my Mac (Tiger) through Microsoft Shared Fax Service running on Server 2003? We have less than a handful of Macs in our office and have just implemented the shared fax server for all of the PC users. It would be great if the Mac users could fax through it as well

Incoming payments through f110 ?

Can one of you please give some info. On the following..
F110 .. We can also use for incoming payments. Can you please let me know when exactly we will execute incoming payments through f110 ?
For vendor it makes sense that it will collect the all pending open invoices and will generate a payment document including check printing(or whatever the payment method) to vendor.
Step 1. Create vendor invoices
Step 2. Run F110
Step 3. F110 selects pending invoices and generates payment documents
Step 4. depending on payment method It will allow us to pay the money to Vendor through cheque/ cash/ etc.,
I gues incoming payments is for receivables from customer, if so then what f110 does for incoming payments..
I feel if we know that customer deposited the money in bank (through bank statement) then we can run f110 for the open documents is it correct ? Or any other options.. Let me know step by step process like vendors

Ravi,
F110 can be used for incoming payments as well.It is not a common practice across all businesses. This process is called as ACH direct debit. In simple terms it is pulling money directly from customer bank account.Required things;
1. A payment method for Incoming payments, Payment medium program used for this payment method is RFFOEDI1
2. Banking information in customer master.
To explain it further:
1. Post invoice to customer
2. Run f110 to clear the invoice by inserting customer number in the parameters tab
3. Payment program creates an IDOC with all requirement information for the banks to process payments
4. if the bank accepts IDOC send idoc's to bank, if not process data in EDI translator and send the file to bank in aceptable format
5. Bank processes the payments and sends the clearing transactions as a bank statement
6. When EBS is processed main bank account will be updated.

Error in assigning Z program in F110 transaction

Hello everyone ,
As per the clients request I hav created a Z report for F110 transaction (FI module) which will hav the input parameters as Run Date and the Identification and this program will mail some information to the respective vedor after the payment method is completed ..
After serching for the solution for the same here on SDN I have come across a suggestion from some an expert that to assign that Z program in the "List" tab of the printout / data medium tab of F110 transaction but now when I am trying to add that report in List Tab in Program column I am getting n error
" Report ZMAILSEND cannot be used here; correct "

I understand that you want to send by email the payment notes or request notes from F110. If it's true, see SAP Note 556924 - RFFOD__V - Alternative payment advice form and SAP Note 836169 - Consulting: Payment advice notes by email or fax. It explains that you must use the BTE 00002040.
