Send a message to a cFP2020

I am using a cFP to collect some data and then store it on the compact flash as a spreadsheet. I have the program embedded and then sending the data to a seperate computer for viewing via UDP and a crossover cable. I want to be able to send a comment to the embedded VI that will then be put into the spreedsheet file. I am trying to accomplish this by utilizing TCP/IP but i get the error:
"Error 1:
LabView: an input parameter is invaild
NI-488: command requires GPIB controller to be controller in charge."
I don't know what this means or how to fix it.

Well... It's hard to help you without having the hard and soft... but I
happened to have that kind of problem in the past using FieldPoint.
I'm not sure where the issue comes from, but the null refnum comes from
the "TCP open connection.vi" (top left on your diagram), I might be
something silly.
To check that your cFP is runing correctly, close LabVIEW, and perform
some measure form the MAX, check the IP adress. If it works then close
the MAX and try with LabVIEW.
If it works with the MAX and not with LabVIEW, you'll be sure that one
of your input parameters in wrong (ip adress or remote port)...

I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

Cannot send email via AOL on iPad2 - "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed."

My CEO has an ipad2 and I set it up w/ AOL. She cannot send any email via her AOL account from her iPad. She gets a message that says "A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed." We've tried it on wifi and on 3G (Verizon version). I've removed the account and added it, I've tried setting it up as an IMAP account vs. using Apples standard AOL mail setting and nothing seems to work. The SMTP settings are smtp.aol.com, port 587. I've tried adding an alternate server/smtp, but I haven't been able to find anything that works. Any advice or other people having this issue? It works fine sending an email from her aol web mail. And unfortunately, having her sign up for a gmail account is not an option. Thanks

Interesting. Firstly I have been on AOL since the early 90s with no current intention to switch as my primary personal email account.
I have two email accounts on my iphone - AOL and my email from my business website. I deleted both and then recreated first the business account and then the AOL account. Same error. Then I wasn't sure what you suggested but I turned off the AOL SMTP server and selected the business email SMTP server by turning it on with the same result. I still get the error "A Copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the mssage content to the server failed."
Perhaps this problem will get fixed by IOS 6. AOL will not talk to me unless I pay and Apple says its not their problem. So for the time being I use the AOL web interface in the iPhone's Safari to send emails from the phone.

How long has it been going on? I've had my yahoo mess up and if i wait a bit it resolves itself. Yahoo is doing something with their servers and it messes with your mail if your mail happens to be on one of those servers.

Can't send text messages (can only recieve). How do I change Service Center Number

Hello. As my subject states, i can't seem to send text messages (but i can receive them). I'm told by my carrier that i need to change my service center number (and they provided it). I've been looking all over the phone for this option, and can't seem to find it. I keep seeing posts saying "On your device: Options > SMS > Service Center." but "service center" does not appear when i go to options>SMS text. I see the following; screen options conversation style: show names: message options priority: callback number: disable autotext: so my question is;, where do i find this?

On previous iPhones you could go to settings and block the the actual text message from pooping up. Only the sender would show up. On the i4gs the sender and message show up. This is a major flaw as far as privacy. There are no options with in settings to

YOU ARE WRONG.
Go to Settings > Notifications > Messages. You can turn Notifcation Center off for Messages, or select None for the alert style, and turn Show Preview off, and view in Lock Screen on or off.

I am unable to send any messages on iMessage

i am unable to send any messages on iMessage. I have never used it before so maybe I haven't set it up properly? When I choose a person to send a message to its fine, but when I type the message, the send button is grey and my message won't send.
My iPod is a 5th gen, 32 GB, iOS 8.1.2

You can send over WiFi, but it sounds as if you need to setup your Gmail account, or did you do this already?

I don not want to use imessage at all. I turn it off in settings, but when I go to send a message, it is asking me once again to sign in with my apple id. Then it turns imessage back on, which I do not want.

That is because the iPad can only text using iMessage.

I'm having issues with iMessage. It works fine on wifi and I receive messages as iMessage without issue in network or wifi. However as I send a message it starts as iMessage then says not delivered. Then sends as SMS since I have it enabled.

iMessage works on wifi without issue. However I receive messages on network but can't send. I send a message it starts sending as iMessage ten says it can't send. Then starts to send as SMS since it's enabled. I have reset network sertings, updated to ios7, etc and done about 3 othe suggested in order resets to get it to work and it still hasn't started working when I'm not on wifi. Any suggestions?
It's a iPhone 4S. I have two iPhones. One setup to receive iMessage just to its phone number. Therapeutic to receive to its phone and email. I wouldn't think that would be the issue as all 3 are separate. Bone the same going to both phones.
