SEND AN SMS TO ALL CONTACTS

hi everyone,
i would like to send an sms to all my contact because i recently change my number.
how can i do it without adding contact one by one ?
there is a "free" app for that ?

Turning off iMessage does not prevent you from sending messages to other Apple users. You can send an SMS to any iPhone without your own iMessage turned on, even if it is turned on on their iPhone.
The SMS-only option is: Turn off iMessage. Literally. That's it.

How do I send a text to all contacts?

Seriously Can i send a text out to everyone in my contacts? Just got a new number and have like 400 contacts and i want to send out a mass text to give everyone my new number.
I am not stupid i know how to create a group and add members to it but does anyone really want to sit there and add 400 members to a group? Its killing me.
How could this thing that is basically a computer not just be able to compose a text message and just have a menu option to add all contacts. Does blackberry need a new design team. Or am i just missing the joke.
It should be easy and it should be possible. Or do they really want to make me add each contact one by one? Lame if so.
Can anyone help me?

Iphone 3G sending automatic SMS to a contact

Hi there,
For about 5 days, a friend of mine has received texts from my phone that are delivered automatically at 7am every day. She gets the same text and nothing at all appears in my phone (no track of any of those texts being sent to her).
How do I stop it? Why did the phone start doing this anyway?
So far I've erased all texts from and to her; updated the software and switch off all my alarms. But the problem is still there, she keeps receiving the texts!

Is your phone jailbroken? The reason I ask is that there are apps available for jailbroken phones that will do that.

Cant sent a sms to multiplw contacts

i ve bought an iphone 6 and upgraded it to ios 8.0.2 but now i am having issue with the sms messaging. I am unable to send a sms to multiple contacts not even 2 contacts at a time. when will this problem be fixed????????
p.s:- i am not talking about the imessaging i am talkin about the sms.

Assuming your carrier supports it and it is included in your plan:
Settings App > iMessage > Group Messaging [turn ON]

To add a contact as a recipient, tap '+' or tap Add recipient to start writing a name or typing in a
phone number. Of course You can add more than one recipient...

How do I send SMS only at ALL TIMES with an iPhone to ALL contacts? iOS 8 now forces all Apple users to use iMessage all the time with all other iOS users. The option to send as SMS only is subordinate to iMessage in iOS 8 settings and CANNOT be turned off to send only SMS texts to another iOS device! This is a serious privacy issue for all households using iOS and doing family sharing, including over a number of iOS devices, under one member's Apple ID. Why should business conversations or financial conversations between parents be readable on an iPad in the hands of a teenager or a seven year old? The answer is not as simple as "Just don't enable iMessage on your other devices," because amy family that shares the Apple ID password is vulnerable to teenagers particularly hacking into iMessage to monitor, for example, what their parents are saying. If I were Samsung or Google I would hammer this issue immediately and continually until it is fixed by Apple (and I'm not sure why they haven't yet). iMessage is a convenience but it has this serious limitation given the architecture of the Apple universe. Apple simply cannot force all its users to conduct text messaging in arbitrarily limited way, any more than it was able to force all its users to switch from Google Maps. When will Apple fix this?

Iphone 5 not sending sms to 1 contact

bought the iphone 5 last month and i am on EE. about 2 weeks ago my phone stopped sending sms to one contact. I receive theirs but they never get mine. ive reset phone back to factory settings, reset network settings, deleted and readded contact and still nothing. EE claim its common problem with iphone 5 on this ios setting but have no info on how to fix it. any help is greatly appreciated.

It says they are sent from my end, no exclamation marks at all. The other person has got a nokia (i think, looks like an imitation of the blackberry) and is on tesco mobile. i have gone through their phone and theyve not blocked me, i can still make calls to them fine. As far as i am aware, this is the only contact they dont send to. I have looked online and have seen some iphone users claiming it is a glitch with the iOS setting??

Send Group SMS contact group to other BB Users?

Is there any way at all to send an SMS contact group that I created on my handset to other BlackBerry devices? I know you can with indivual contacts but when choosing the group it simply opens the group to select the individual contacts rather than the group as a whole.

Messages are sending as SMS texts instead of iMessages to some contacts

Hi,
I have noticed that a couple of my contacts with iPhones that I would normally iMessage to now I can only SMS text to.
It seems that in both cases, previously I received and iMessage from them and when I replied, it failed so I chose to send it as SMS.
Now, even, though I have deleted the Message threads, whenever I try and send a Message to them it insists on sending an SMS text instead of an iMessage.
How can I force it to start sending iMessages instead of SMS messages again to these contacts?
Thanks in advance for any help on this as it is really frustrating.

You may also need to check with those individual receipents regarding the status of their iMessage. The use of iMessage requires an active data connection for both the sender and the receiver. If either is interrupted, it can cause the message to fail. The error could be on their end as well.

There is another setting for "Start Conversation from", that needs to be set to phone number.

Is that possible ?

Select them all, drag to the BCC line in a new e-mail. Don't put them on the To or CC line or some, at least, of your contacts will be peeved to see their address being sent out to a bunch of people they don't know. (I'm sure that not everyone in your address book knows everyone else.)
Also, be aware that most e-mail servers have limits on the number of recipients per message, per hour, per day and/or per week, as a means for preventing spam.

Hello. I have the same problem - I upgraded to iOS 5 and in the process lost my contacts and ALL my SMS. I know that we can use backups to restore the information. But the problem is that my back ups are May 2011 and the day I did the upgrade, so nothing helpful there. I don't think the system did a backup before the upgrade. I did the upgrade on october 22. And for that date i have two back ups. I restored the phone to the older backup and it restored my contacts but not my SMS. Is there ANY way I can get my SMS back????
