'Send as' permission across forest not working

I want to grant 'send-as' permission to an user on a distribution group (security group) of different forest.
I tried granting this via Active Directory but whenever we try to send mail as this distribution group, Outlook complaints "You can't send a message on behalf of this user unless you have permission
to do so. Please make sure you're sending on behalf of the correct sender, or request the necessary permission. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk."

Please make sure two forests are trusted each other. And both the user and the distribution group are not hidden from address list and have mailbox enabled. Please run the following command to check whether the user is assigned to send as permission:
Get-ADPermission DistributionGroup| where {($_.ExtendedRights -like “*Send-As*”)}
If all configuration are correct, please restart the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service in Exchange server and create a new profile in Outlook to have a try.

Intermittent problem- send or comment buttons will not work- Reboot only sometimes fixes- does not happen in IE

Recently I have found that when in FB- the 'send' or 'comment' buttons do NOT work. I have also just found that the X along side a post - to get the dropdown to hide, etc- does not work either.
I have logged of and back on. I have closed firefox and restarted. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc. and then restarted firefox. Nothing works. It seems like this happened a few times and when I came back to the computer after several hours, it was ok. Most of the time I have to reboot.
While this is happening, some other functions work fine. For instance, if I click on HOME or PROFILE it works. Only seems to be the 'buttons'.
What's making me really crazy is that it is intermittent! And when it happens, if I open IE (ugh) it works fine.
Only fixes found at FB are to clear cache, cookies, etc. which I have already stated do nothing at all. Any ideas?

Sender adapter request response bean not working for calling a webservice

Hi All,
In PI 7.31, My scenario : SOAP sender Asynch-> PI -> HTTP Receiver Sync ->take response to call another webservice (SOAP)
I have configured request response bean and response one way bean in the sender adapter to make this work.
Attached the screenshot of the module config in the sender soap adapter. The final response from HTTP has to be used to call another webservice (not sender webservice)
This giving an error "couldn't retrieve binding values for sender to receiver etc etc ----------"
Has anyone configured response one way bean to call a webservice to submit? If so, please share the configuration details. And let me know if I am doing anything wrong

I think the adapter type is for the receiver channel looking at the documentation SAP Library - SAP Exchange Infrastructure
Have you checked your receiver channel doesn't belong to a party?
I havent tried this bridge with the http_aae but looks to be problematic according with Michal comment here http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2014/01/28/generic-pi-async-sync-bridge-configuration-for-any-adapters#comment-454463

Send & Return with Fireface 800 not working with Logic 8

Hello all.
I'm having a bear of a time setting up an FX loop from Logic to a FireFace 800. I suspect the problem is in Totalmix, but I can't seem to configure that at all.
Trying to route Track #1, through the FF and into Helicon VoicePro, then back to Logic's Track #4.
Here's what I'm doing:
- In Logic, Track #1, in Mixer window, setting Send to Bus #2.
- Bus #2 is set to Outs 3-4.
- Fireface outs 3&4 go to the Helicon
- Helicon outs go to Fireface input 7&8
- In Logic, track #4 is set to Input 7&8, Out 1-2.
I'm NOT using the I/O plugin, just the normal I/O selectors.
I get no signal to the Helicon with the above setup. However, if I change the Fireface cabling so the outs are 1&2, it goes through the Helicon just fine (the only problem is I get an echo-loop as the signal is feeding through over and over again). So, the Helicon works, the problem is at the Fireface, and I suspect it's because I can't get Total mix to route. The Fireface manual is worthless for this, I've followed the one paragraph of advice and it doesn't work.
Does anyone know of another way to route the signal? Or any tutorial for Totalmix?
All I want to do is send, add FX, then return to a new track.

R u recording midi input into the track? (ez drummer takes midi info and feeds it into the plug-in (drum samples) for output. of course, you can route the output from ez drummer to an audio track to record the audio output. But working in midi allows you to edit your midi files, change drum sounds, etc.

Apply Gradient across stroke not working now?

Updated Illustrator to CC and now my apply gradient to stroke is acting funny (also does it with apply along stroke). First i can't get it to show up unless I find a number it likes (start out with 1 pt, don't see a stoke so increase size 1 pt at a time up to 11 to see it) now the corners have gotten strange, They seem to be missing small patches. Any idea what's causing this? You can see in the image I am not doing anything fancy, it's type and then just to make sure it wasn't a font problem I tried just a rectangle. It seems to be worst with corner set to round joint.

Sorry Larry that didn't fix it. Sent the files to Adobe for review. Anyone elese reproduce this problem?
It's easy to test;
1. create a rectangle
2. add a fill and stroke
3. change the stroke to a gradient and make it big enough to see
4. change the stroke cap to round and cap corner to round join
5. change the gradient to apply gradient along stroke or across stroke
I do this to nearly everything and have been for years...very strange problem
I also just made the same object in CS6 and it worked flawlessly.

MS Project 2010 with Outlook 2013 - "send as attachment" missing function / not working

Office 2013 Professional running on Windows 7 (64bit).
After Re-installing MS Project 2010 today the option under
File (alt-f) --> 'Save & Send' --> 'Send as Attachment' is shaded out / unavailable.
Is this a known integration gap between the older MS Project and Current Outlook ? Alternatively, does anyone have any recommendations to troubleshoot and / or enable the function within MS Project 2010?

p.s I have tried completing a repair on Office 2013 and the MS Project 2010 from within the control panel.
This functionality is working with all other Office 2013 applications in the suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio etc.)

Kinda / sorta ... In Mid 2014 I had MS Project installed and working (I can't confirm if the Send as Attachment was working at that time...) A few days ago I was sent an '.mpp' (MS Project file) for review. When I attempted to open it MS Project
gave me a warning message that it needed to start in safe mode but then failed to start. This seemed weird and thus began two days of googling and investigation.
I elected to uninstall (which also failed) and reinstall (which also failed) the MS Project 2010 since I have the media at hand to do so. At this point I was really truly 'stuck' (p.c term for the younger audience reading this).
My course of action was to engage Microsoft Support (specifically the MS Office group). They verified some registry entries, confirmed installation of MS Project 2010 , confirmed files were installed , available and in the appropriate
spots (files etc.) , tried a few 'fixit' tools , made multiple suggestions that I spend $1000+ on upgrading to MS Project 2013. After ~90 minutes or so they were able to 'Force' the orphaned installation to uninstall. (although
they needed to install and use a 3rd party tool to do it) We then re-installed MS Project 2010 and verified it could start.
After using project a little bit I realized that 'Send as Attachment' option was non-functional. I spent a few hours trying to research (more google) and finally threw in the towel and cried out for help (i.e posted the message that started this
thread).

PI Sender File Adapter OS Commands not working

Hi Guys,
I have very simple scenario. we are using PI 7.1 with EHP1 on HP hardware with JDK 1.5.2*.
We are processing XML files through Sender File Adapter(NFS) to Idocs. We also need to move some pdf documents to target folders on the same box (basically Sender and Receiver files/foders are mounted to PI OS hence I am using NFS)
I am trying to put a simple OS command copy and mov command.
in the Before Message Processing: cp /tmp/*.pdf /tmp/out/
And in the After Message Processing: mv /tmp/*.pdf /tmp/archive/
In the Adapter Audit logs says these commands are executed but I don't see any effect and there is no error/Traces available even in the Server logs also.
I have been using these OS commands since XI 3.0 I never had any issue.
I have gone through SDN but no luck, Please share your experiences.

As i understand your requirement you just want to take the pdf file from one folder of XI server and put it to another..
for this u do not need a OS command..
This requirement is simple ..infact u do not need any IR components as well..
u just have to develop the ID part and wherever it asks for namespace or message interface u can give a dummy one..
this would jst take the pdf file from one folder and send it to another

Mail Problems- Sending mail and auto check not working

I am trying to connect to my schools exchange mail server over imap and can no longer seem to send out mail, it tells me it cannot send from the designated server. This seems to have been a problem since I upgraded to tiger a few months ago. Also more recently, although I have mail to check every 5 minutes it does not seem to be checking any of my accounts unless i manually click get mail. This problem is brand new and i haven't any idea what could casue that or what to fix. Any suggestions to either fix would be a great help

I have a problem with Apple Mail i can receive Emails but i can't send emails it says: cannot send message using smtp.live.com server. the server works on my iPhone. so is there a diffrent server for Mail on the Mac? it is a hotmail account POP3 server. is the outgoing server diffrent from the iPhone version?

Sending PDF File as Email not working

Hi,
We are not able to send email as pdf file using submit by email button but xml type is working

The submit by email is hardcoded to send an xml file (Note that by default Reader can only send the xml file). If you want to send the PDF then you will have to drop a button object from the standard palette, set the Control Type to Submit, and on the Submit tab use the mailto protocol as the Submit To URL parameter. Just below that there is a Submit dropdown where you can pick PDF as your submission. Now if your users are using Reader you will have to Reader Extend the file before they can use your button.

Send to 'Shake' from FCP not working

Well i sort of lie, it does open shake and open a file, but it's never the correct footage. He's is what I do, tell me if I'm doing something wrong.
1. Select footage that I need to do some shake suff with by highlighting it in the FCP timeline.
2. Go to 'File' 'Send to' Shake
3. Shake opens but with a completely differn't part of the video I am editing. The only way I have found for it to work is to actually export the clip and use the 'Filein' into Shake, which works, but is time consuming.
Can anyone help.
