Send Button Disabled Until Text Typed - Half Done - Please Help

Hi, i have a chat program and dont want users to be able to send messages without typing anything, i have got the send button disabled on loading, but dont no how to re enable it.
how do i get it to react to a keyboard event?

Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>Safari and Clear History, Data and Cookies.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

When I click 'view' , I can "show inspector". From the table tab, I can pull up the "Format". [See below]. I don't see the "Arrange" or "Object Placement Move with Text"
Right now I have the Wrap Text On. When I take it off, It messes up my rows [see second image].
All I want is for my column to flow onto the second page.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone.
My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac. As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is.
Any thoughts on this?

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recovery use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:

YOu will need to contact your cell phone provider to resolve those issue, those are carrier features.

I think you should call via phone or perhaps take it to a phone store. I suggest taking your id, box packaging and other necessities such as the reciept of the phone being purchased.

Why is my send button disabled when emailing through contacts?

I currently have an iPhone6, and when I go through my contacts list and select a contact to send an email to, the "send" button is disabled (gray). I prefer this method of contacting clients.
That being said, when I go through the actual mail application, it works just fine.
Thoughts?

That's a bug. The "To" address appears filled in but Mail doesn't think it is there So it won't activate the Send button.

Hi,
My OSX (10.5.5) Mail (3.5) recently stopped working with GMail.
Specfically the "Send" button is disabled. I have checked my settings and I have checked the Connection Doctor. Both look fine... The Connetion Doctor can successfully log into the SMTP server.
Does anyone know how to get Mail to send again?

Do you mean the Send button is gray when you say "disabled"? If so, that normally means you do not actually have a SMTP selected for that account, even though one may be in the list of available SMTP servers. In Mail Preferences/Accounts/Account Information, is there the name of the desired SMTP in the box for Outgoing Server, and have you selected to use that server only?

Send button dead on texts

On certain phone numbers can't send texts.

I'm noticing the same thing. When you "compose" a message the "send" button is on the tool bar, some for when you "forward" a message. But when you "reply" there is no send button. I'm sure it was there at one time. Maybe it disappeared in a recent update. You can use keys to send the message, but that is a bit of a pain. Anyone know how to get the "send" button back for replies?
