Send button for email
Why on earth isn't there a way to include a send button in the main window of Mail so I can send my written email all at once by clicking Send. It's only available in the individual email window. That means that when I get online to send email I have to open all of the email again in order to send one at a time. This seems a ridiculous feature to have been omitted.
?
If the mail goes to your Outbox after composing, it should all be sent automatically when you go online.
I just tried this... turned of the Airport so that the internet connection was lost. Then composed two messages hitting send to send them to the Outbox. Then turned the Airport back on, and after about 10 s both messages were sent without me having to do anything.

Every now and then my SEND button for texts is greyed out and unfunctional
I'll be texting someone just fine then suddenly the SEND button freezes up and doesn't allow me to continue the conversation.
Anyone else?
ThanksHey! I get the same problem. I'm so happy I found someone like you, cuz no one at Rogers (my carrier) or Apple knows what's going on. I've recently tried going to "Settings" "Messages" and turning OFF "Show Subject Field". I do not yet know if this will solve our problem which is constantly frustrating, but I saw this in a discussion forum so I've just tried this. Let's keep each other posted on this intermittent issue okay? I get so bugged when I'm texting back & forth & suddenly for no reason the "send" button goes gray & simply won't allow me to continue no matter if I turn the phone off/on or whatever or even delete that string of texts & begin again to same person, (who's now been waiting too long for my reply LOL) Cheers, Steve. iPhone (647) 300-9222 Toronto. How do I edit Send button designated email address on a web form in Dreamweaver CS6?
I have a webform on our website for folks requesting information. There is a country button which folks select. The send button submits the form and there is some script somewhere that sends submissions from say a USA based enquirer to a USA email address, UK based enquirer to a UK address, etc. How can I edit the script that controls that function? I am a newbie in CS6 but am learning fast!
Hi Fritz
In the source code I have:
<td height="30" colspan="2"><div align="center">
<input type="submit" value="Send" />
</div></td>
</tr>
</table>
</form>
If I click on </form> in Properties the action box shows an asp file /gdform.asp on the root. I opened that and it has no site specific info, i.e. my URL or any email address.
The webform can be viewed on www.aboutmeco.org/opportunities/index.html Ther you see the Send button is at the bottom of the webform, which corresponds to the source code. Do you think I am looking at the right form tag?

sometimes after composing an email, the send button is not being highlighted and I have to save it as a draft and then re-open the email in order to get the button highlighted and there be able to send the message. What is the fix?
Carolyn...
Thank You for the reply, but all this information is current, as I am experiencing this problem most often when using the reply button. I will however begin checking based on your response. I do seem to remember the folks at Apple mentioning a solution involving discarding one of the preference files within Mail and re-starting the application in essence re-building that particular file. If you can inform me as to which file that was, I would be most appreciative. -
Does sharepoint have an opt out button for email soliciting
does program have an opt out button for prospective clients to stop emails from coming to them. I want a data program that will sort and email clients, but have an opt out button So they can decline emails for future and also I need to know myself
so I can move them from the list. what program does this. thanks for your helpHi,
From your description, my understanding is that you wonder if there is a button in SharePoint site UI
to let your users reject mails.
As you know SharePoint send/receive mails via SMTP server, thus SharePoint cannot prevent users from receiving mails directly. You should set some settings in SMTP server to accomplish your requirement.
If you use outlook, you could create rule in it by referring to this article:
http://www.lse.ac.uk/intranet/LSEServices/IMT/guides/softwareGuides/office2010/Outlook-2010-Creating-Rules-to-Manage-Your-Email.aspx.

Send button for invites in iCal
I have tried to use iCal to invite people to a meeting. According to the instructions, you put in the attendees and push he send button at the bottom of the info drawer. I do not see a send button and the OK is not functional. Any ideas?
degrandwazoo,
Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Are you following the instructions listed in: Inviting guests to an event? Click None next to "attendees" (or if someone has already been invited to the event, click to the right of the name and press the Return key on your keyboard), then type the email address for the person you want to invite to the event. Are the attendees in your address book?
I can repeat your observation when I put one or all of my email addresses in the attendee field. In that case "Send" is not visible and "OK" is not functional.

"Send" button in email wont work. Cant send messages
All of the sudden neither one of our emails can send out a message. I can receive and compose or save the message as a draft but the actual "send" button in the email program wont work. Has anyone run into this before? I am running OSX 10.6 and running the standard mail program that came with the mac.
I dont know if I have the same problem. But when I open Mail, I can send, receive and basically everything when I first open the app.
But as soon as I compose a message and Mail auto-saves the draft, I can't send/receive. I have to quit the app and send it when it re-opens. Or try several times to send it by re-opening it from the Outbox. -

Add SEND button for service commands
Would it be possible to add a "send" button at the bottom middle for service command view?
Service command is the menu you get when you phone a *123# number for example.
Currently you have to select your number/option by typing it and then select "Options" and select send. There are just two buttons currently in that view (Back and Options) on the Symbian Belle interface. My old Nokia had a dedicated send button
Anyway, would really make things easier because these type op menu's are used by the mobile banking sites and to check my cellphone account balances.
Thanks!Agree, its very annoying that you have to press more buttons for simple operations like sending sms.

I have searched the forum (my apologies if I missed the
correct solution) and have done my fair share of Googling on this
topic to no avail.
Is there a "simple" solution to setting up a submit button to
send a form to email.
I have the action of the form as mailto:myemailaddress.com
Method set to "Get"
Enctype set to "text/plain"
When I test to submit button it provides a popup window with
a warning indicating the senders email address will be divulged. I
click OK and a new window popsup for my yahoo sign in. I suppose
this would happen as the default email interface used. However, the
form isn't sent.
Any solutions would be very helpful. Thanks
P.S. I use DW 8This is posted here 2-5 times a week -
There are only two ways to process form data -
1. Use mailto:[email protected] as the action of the form
2. Use a server-side scripting method to a) harvest the
form's data, b)
process it in some manner, e.g., enter it into a database, c)
formulate and
send an email to one or more email recipients, and d)
redirect the visitor
to some ending page
Method 1 is quite simple, and is also the least reliable. It
depends both
on your visitor having an email client already installed on
their computer -
this eliminates public computers, or home users without email
clients
installed (more and more it seems) - and on the installed
email client
responding to
the mailto call. It is not possible to use this method *and*
send the
visitor to a
thank you page as well.
Method 2a is the preferred method, since it eliminates the
problems of
method
1, but it means that you have to grapple with
server-scripting somehow (ASP,
CF, PHP, perl, etc.).
Method 2b would be to use some third-party form processing,
like
http://www.bebosoft.com/products/formstogo/,
or if your server supports PHP,
you could investigate
http://www.geekministry.com/formbuilder/,
a very nice
product by a frequent poster here.
You would have to decide which of these methods is best for
your needs,
but if it's Method 2a, then start by asking your host what
they provide for
form
processing. If it's 2b, then read their FAQ/instructions
carefully.

Make voucher with Send button to email with restrict user to edit particular fields
Hello,
I have a pdf voucher for taxi drivers, Now I am supposed to put a button on pdf voucher, which on click, sends an email to the recipent(Taxi Company) and store it into local machine in some folder. And when they(Company) recieve, they should only be able to edit particular fields by using login id and pwd.
I am new to Adobe, I am dot net developer, Please help me if it needs some programming on behind. and which tool I should use. Just think me as a layman, and please tell me the steps.
Any help , will be appreciated, Thanks> Why isn't it as simple as entering in a
"mailto:[email protected]" type of
> thing? Or is it?
It is that simple. However, it is very unreliable. For it to
work, the
visitor filling out the form has to have a properly
configured email client,
that works with the webpage form. That leaves out people
using webmail
services and those using public computers. And- most
computers will put up
a warning screen that the form data is being sent by an
insecure method and
give the person a choice to send or cancel.

Setting up a form processing script can be very simple.
First step- check your hosting's support/FAQ section for info
about forms
and scripts.
if your hosting has a control panel or CPanel, look there for
a
pre-installed script and instructions on using it.
The free kaosmailer extension at
http://kaosweaver.com will create
the
scripting for you, within dreamweaver, for your choice of
asp/php/coldfusion. (pick the one your hosting supports)
A php script is phpformmail at
http://boaddrink.com
An asp script is at
http://www.brainjar.com/asp/formmail/
A cgi/Perl script would be at
http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net
(but it would
be my last choice, a php script would be far easier to set
up)
Any further specifics totally depend on what scripting method
you can use on
this hosting, and on what script you want to use. -
Hi all I am having some dificulty with a submit button for emailing a PDF
I am using Adobe Livecycle Designer ES 8.2 to create an order form with a submit by email button at the end.
The button works fine and emails the form to sales@*.ie. My problem is the form is editable by the receipt which I dont want.
Is there a way of creating a pre submit script to change the file to read only or non-interactive and removing the print and submit buttons.
I have been at this for hours and have looked every where and have not found anything.
I am new to this and would appreciate the help.
ThanksThanks, That worked
