"Send" button in email wont work. Cant send messages

All of the sudden neither one of our emails can send out a message. I can receive and compose or save the message as a draft but the actual "send" button in the email program wont work. Has anyone run into this before? I am running OSX 10.6 and running the standard mail program that came with the mac.

I dont know if I have the same problem. But when I open Mail, I can send, receive and basically everything when I first open the app.
But as soon as I compose a message and Mail auto-saves the draft, I can't send/receive. I have to quit the app and send it when it re-opens. Or try several times to send it by re-opening it from the Outbox.

Try holding the buttons longer--at least a minute or until you see the Apple logo light up.

my personal email wont work, i have the accounts set up on my phone, but when messages are being sent to my personal email, they're not coming through on the phone.

Torch 9800 my email wont work via wifi

I have just sync my new torch from my old bold. All info transfered perfectly including my 2 email accounts.
I have the misfortune of living in a 2G only area on remote Island. SMS, phone calls and wifi only. I had my old Bold working through wifi hot spots onto my gmail account and it was sending and receiving emails just fine but the torch just keeps saying 'activation failed. A service connection is unavailable' each time I try to activate the account.
Seems as though it wont work through wifi, i can surf the net with no problems

Turn off the WiFi connection, and go to an area where you have a clear 2G connection (EDGE) and do the following:
On your BlackBerry device, go to:
1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.
2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site:

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and log in. Then under Help!, select Service Books, then select Send service Books.

3. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot. This reboot, even if you have already done this, is often needed to install the service books.
Then, this should install the required Service Books to the Torch, and you should be able to perform all data services over WiFi as you have been in the past.

Ipad email wont work abroad

Buttons after stop(); wont work; how can I FIX this

Buttons after stop code (vidPlayer.stop();) wont work.
I figured out the stop code needed to stop my videos from playing when you click another button, but with my stop code being on top of my "gotandStop("label")" my buttons doesn't perform that function. I take the vidPlayer.stop(); off the buttons the buttons work fine, but then my videos wont stop playing when I click another button. Help, how I can get my buttons back working and still stop my videos from continuely playing when another button is clicked.

CalDav calendars and emails wont work...

When inputing the required fields for a caldav calendar, my prefered way of accessing my google calendars, I always get an error message saying theres something wrong it can't connect. I know the password and caldav address are right as I have them set up in Thinderbird, the password being stored in Keepass. I changed the password to something really easy just incase, "bobbob987", and it still wont work.
(Apologies for the double post but I accidently inputed my email address wrong when I registered and there is no way of recovering from this, so I can't gain access to my other account here.)
I am also having problems with email, same issue, can't connect telling me my username/passowrd is wrong. Again I know they are right, due to Keepass. However this time I quickly change my password to "bobbob" and it worked until it said there was a problem with the stmp server.
Is CalDav actually supported? Does firefox OS support decent passwords? I am flat out refusing to change all my passowrds to 6 letters because longer decent passwords aren't supported.
I'm using the ZTE open, FFOS 1.0.1.
Oh and all my passwords are back to being massive and complicated again;)

I have set up gmail on my ZTE Open and my password os over 40 characters long with lowercase, uppercase, numbers and punctuation and had no problems.
it did take a few attempts to type it on the keyboard.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

No it issn't an iphone issue.
The issue is with yahoo and their server.
You can do a search in the forum "yahoo mail" and see how many threads there are about not being able to connect to Yahoo server and the answer is the same it's Yahoo problem not Apple or iphone.

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

I had a bad experience with my gmail account. It was really slow. 15min looks to work but it won´t make it faster as push email is not supported by gmail when using nokia devices ( I have read it somewhere on a gmail mobile compatibility chart at google help pages)
I have created an ovi mail account and it works as push email on my c6 00 (latest firmware). I have setup gmail to send a copy of all the incoming emails to my ovi account, so I have instant feedback at my phone of incoming mails.
The bad news of this workaround is that when I reply i´m doing it from my ovi account where y erase the mails after reading as I have the original mail at gmail.
I hope this helps someone that needs push+gmail.

sounds like
1. your smtp settings and or ports are set wrong in which case you need to manually alter them
2. your network is blocking the smtp ports in which case you need to alter your routers settings and or taking contact to the isp or school network to try and get them to stop blocking the ports
