Send button is not enabled in BI Publisher

Hi all,
I have installed BI Enterprise Edition 10.1.3.4, made microsoft word templates (rtf files), and viewed report in BI Publisher.
Now i want it to be send through any delivery channels. But in BI Publisher, the 'SEND' button under reports tab is not getting enabled even if i configured email server/print server. How can this SEND button be enabled...? and i want to know whether i have configured the delivery channels correctly... Anyone have gudelines/screenshots regarding that...? It will be greately helpyl for me.
thanking you
sreejith

Also... if you logon to Dashboards as Administrator then click menu Settings - Administration then Manage Privileges there is a BI Publisher section to manage privileges in the web catalog. By default send is granted to everyone but you should check it.

  • My send button is not highlighted

When I send a new email , the send button is not highlighted and you cannot press it to send mail, whats wrong

When you first open a new Write message, the 'Send' button should be subdued or look like it is greyed out and you cannot click on it.
It will not appear as useable until you have entered the TO field email addresses, because without knowing where to send to, it cannot send.
So, confirm that you have actually added the TO/Cc/Bcc email addresses.
So why is it auto enabled when you click on eg: Reply?
Because the TO fields are auto completed.

Can anyone tell me why when I type a very long email, the send button is not highlighted anymore when I am done and I can't send the message? And I can't seem to save the message or anything and as soon as I touch a button, I lose the whole thing. Any suggestions?

Have you tried typing and saving using Notes or word processing Apps before sending message?

  • I can't send messages on my iPad? The send button is not lit up and the addresses I put in showp with a res a mark.  How to I get this to work

I cannot send any messages from my iPad.  The send button is not lit up.  My setting are on.  When I put the address in it comes up in red with an exclamation mark

Delete the account, then re install it on the device.  You will need to get the passwords exactly right., and there are some other settings that matter, such as send and receive server names, and sometimes a specific port.  If you are not sure, check on the web for ' email settings' for your particular provider.  What probably happened is that when you changed your password, some other setting got tweaked.

Actually, this problem is the same as the one described in your other thread, and should be fixed as well after following the procedure described there.

New iPad3 and it's not letting me send text messages.....the "send" button is not high lighted....

I've already tried everything listed in these links.
I've also resync'd email accounts via iTunes between my Air and iPad3.
Messaging works OK on all my other devices using the same account settings.
    Problem started around May25th.
(and yes, I already posted back then under a different ID with no resolution).
There has to be a simple solution.
I'm presuming some sort of conflict with iCloud, but not sure.
    Any other ideas?

There is a problem with iMessage with what Apple says is a small number of iPhones and they are working on a fix. In the meantime try this:
    1. Settings > Messages > iMessage = Off
    2. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = Off
    3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    4. Wait for the iPhone to Reboot
    5. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = On
    6. Settings > Messages > iMessage = On
You may have to repeat the steps a couple of times.

  • I have 2 people in my contacts that I'm unable to text. The SEND button does not respond

I Have 2 contacts that I'm unable to text to. The SEND button does not respond. Other contacts will send message.

    Hi Gaylene1949,
So the issue is isolated to two contacts only.
There are a couple sections in this article for troubleshooting contact specific issues.
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
If you still can't send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that the contact you're trying to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
    and
If you still can't send or receive SMS, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact who's trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that you're using the area code with the contact's phone number. When sending messages internationally, you also need to use the contact's international code.
If you're using a "Pay as you go" SMS plan, make sure it has enough available balance. Contact your carrier if you're unsure of your SMS plan or the available balance.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the contact.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Trying to use iMessage but the send button is not highlighted so I cannot send

I have just upgraded to OS5 and have been trying to use iMessage, however the send button is not highlighted and I cannot send messages?

That refers to iMovie, not iPhoto, and photos in Events can certainly be shared to Email.
What email option have you selected? IPhoto? Or some other one?
    Regards

  • How do I send text messages from my Ipod touch?  The "send" button does not light up after typing in the message.

How do I send text messages from my Ipod touch?  The "send" button does not light up.

First of all, you need you have at least iOS 5 installed. Second, the person you are texting must have an iDevice with iOS 5 or higher installed. You can´t send messages to an non-iDevice. You´ll also need an Wi-Fi network to send iMessages. Hope it helped!

  • "Send" button does not appear

When I compose a new message, the Send button does not appear in the header. It works normally when replying to another message. I can compose a new message, but all I can do is save it as a draft. The connection doctor shows everything is normal, and there have been no changes to account preferences. What is going on?

    Hello redcedar,
You must have resolved your no send button problem by now, or at least know what the problem was. I have the same problem and I can't find the answer anywhere. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I receive messages on my iPad, but I cannot send a reply. The send button will not respond to my touch.

It's not that you can't use the subject field, but it is very unreliable when I try to use it. Sometimes the message send button will work and sometimes it won't.
But the biggest reason to turn it off is so that you do not accidentally type your message in the subject field. You can type a subject in that field, but you still have to type the actual message in the space below the subject field.
