Send copy of released quarantined email

Hi,
Is it possible to send a copy of a released quarantined email to a specific mailbox/emailaddress? So, when the enduser releases an email which has been quarantined, a copy of that email needs to be send to a ham-mailbox. As administrator we can send these ham-messages to ironport using the outlook-snapins.

One of the settings configurable in your IronPort SPAM Quarantine setup is the check to enable the Reporting of released messages to IronPort for analysis. Is this what you are wanting to do or do you require BCC'ing those emails to another mailbox locally.
Go to
Monitor/Local Quarantines/IronPort SPAM Quarantine and Edit settings and enable "Notify IronPort Upon Message Release:"

It is an addition option some people like and other do not (I do not) -- to use it as always is trivial - in the iPhoto preferences set Apple Mail as the e-mail client

You need to set up a forwarder in the postfix system used by OS X Server to handle mail.
It is quite straightforward to set this up if you are familiar with using command line / terminal to configure your machine. If you are not sure about this mode of using OS X Server, you may need to find an alternative method.
Assuming you logged into the server as an Administrator, the way to do it is as follows:
1) On your server, open a terminal window and switch into 'super user' mode by typing su at the prompt. You will be asked to give the password for your account, and if successful you'll see the command prompt change (from something ending in a $ sign to something else ending in a # sign)
2) Open the file virtual_users in the directory /Library/Server/Mail/Config/postfix for editing. I use nano - but you can use whatever editor you prefer for this - e.g.
nano /Library/Server/Mail/Config/postfix/virtual_users
3) In this file (which is probably blank / empty when you start) type in the following information for each of your users that you are trying to forward mail from (obviously you'll need to correct the email addresses first!)

[email protected]     [email protected]    [email protected]
[email protected]   [email protected]    [email protected]
4) Now you need to process the file to put it in a form that postfix can read, do so by typing in the following
postmap /Library/Server/Mail/Config/postfix/virtual_users
5) Now you need to restart postfix so that it uses your new settings
postfix reload
6) Now just type exit into the terminal to leave SU mode and you are done. Test your email addresses, but it should "just work".
The clever bit is the postfix virtual_users file.
In that file, you put the email address you want to play with first on the line, and then you can put as many other email addresses after it (with spaces between): postfix will forward messages sent to the first address to each of the addresses in the list.
Most normally this system is used to set up 'forwarding' systems - so if you want one email to go to another this is what you do. But if you want to do this and keep a copy, simply repeat the original email (i.e. the one at the start of the line) in the list that follows, and a copy goes to that one too. Postfix is clever enough to not get into a tail-spin - it doesn't loop back and send a copy of the copy or anything.

First thing first Take a copy of existing report,
1.Open the report in edit mode.
2.Click on the edit query.
3.Click on the properties tab.
4.Click on the universe name and change the universe with the new one.
5.Now map the dimentions and measure of the new data provider to the old one.
6.Run the report.

Silent Spam Filtering used by iCloud is currently affecting us and our Customers. Our Customer, when sending us emails from their business domain (no presence on Global Spam Blacklists), is not able to reach us on our iCloud account and there is absolutely no sign of the email within the Inbox / Junk Folder and surprisingly no NDR to the Sender
Symantec MessageLabs used for Outbound Mail Frittering by our customer confirms the emails to be delivered to MAC Servers, but not being forwarded to us or other end users using *@icloud.com account

There should be a convenient way to request Apple Support Team, for addition of the Sender to an approved list or there should definitely be a Notification to the recipient of a Blocked Email address, which should help them to identify and release such emails, at will into their Inbox and not land up losing critical Customer Communications
Cloud based Spam Filtering Solution Providers(Symantec, Microsoft and others to name a few) allows such options, as an email is now a Business Essential Document and should be securely delivered to recipients

No bounces are sent - messages are being accepted by Apple's mail servers and then filtered before they reach users inboxes. This is a pretty big deal.

Embedded Reader send copy via email

Good morning,
our users use embedded Reader XI (11.0.10) for displaying PDFs within an intranet homepage. They want to email the embedded pdf from there, too.
When the PDF is opened in the IE11 browser and the users click on the email button “Send copy via Email” , and get a question "How would you like to email this document: Link or copy".
When clicked on copy nothing happens – when clicked on “send as link” it works fine.
Does anyone know how to fix the issue?

Thanks but that is not what i need. In my scenario i literally just need to copy all 200 email addresses from a previously sent file and paste them into the box saying "enter recipient email addresses" so that i can send the exact same people a new file. Without this feature this program is virtually useless to me now. Typing them in one at a time or choosing them one at a time from a list is not an option - i will only do this when i send out the first round of files and then i should be able to copy and past the email addresses to send out any added files that every person on the list will need. I just need to select, copy, paste, done. Hope this makes sense.

Error when sending a document link via email

Hi people,
I am on SAP EP 6.0 SP15 and below I describe my scenario.
I have some documents created in some KM folders. Today, I tried to send one of those documents via email to another portal user. If I go through Send To > Send Copy..., that other portal user receives the email with the document attached and he is able to open it... so far so good.
However, if i try to send the same document but now using a link (Send To > Send Link...), the other guy receives the email, but the link results in a 404 error when clicked.
I investigated a little and found that the link sent contains "" signals to indicate spaces in the folder names, instead of "%20". I believe this is the issue, because if I change manually the "" signals to "%20", the link works perfectly.
My question is: is there a way to configure the sistem to use "%20" instead of "+" to represent spaces? Or I will have to remove the spaces from ALL my folder names?

Hi Fernando,
this seems to be a bug. In the release notes of KMC SPS16 incl. P1, this is not reported as fixed (on the other hand, not every fixed bug gets reported in the release notes).
You could try to patch your portal first; if you don't can do this at the moment or if the bug persists after patching, please open an OSS message.

Outbreak filters (OF/VOF) released viral emails

Hello,
yestearday 24.2.2015 around 9:00 CET we were on the top of viral email attack. In less than one hour OF on the Ironport started to react on this attack. That's great. But at midnight all emails from OF quarantine from this attack was released as a clean messages. Together with OF we have a Sophos on the Ironport. Here's the log of one email:

Yesterday at 12:00 CET I reported virus to the Sophos because the virus is not recognized by Sophos. I recieved this answer:
The file(s) submitted were malicious in nature and detection will be available on the Sophos Databank shortly.
From today morning I'm going thou Ironport configuration, forums, reading best practices but I can't find any useful information what's wrong. Why OF together with Sophos released viral emails. We have an Ironports for seven years and this is my first real problem with email scanning. In fact the mail should be stopped by VOF, antispam or antivirus. There's three engines which should react. I'm shocked. I hope that I have some misconfiguration on the Ironport.
I would be happy for any idea. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay in my response, I sent that email before i went to bed last night.
As per your follow up.
The VOF rules can be 'checked' to a certain degree under the command
CLI > outbreakstatus
This will list a set of rules with sensory information such as unusual amounts of certain types of files, and such which can be triggered on VOF scanning.
But detailed information is kept as it's proprietary information.
Senderbase will not list the rules in full detail as if these rules were publicly available to be seen, spammers will take advantage of this and find ways around current rule sets being pushed out proactively.
The outlook add-in on your system for flagging these emails, when you do send a submission it will go to our database where our automated systems will re-classify emails based on the type of submission to the best of the automated processes abilities.
However if for some reason it cannot reclassify an email (possibly content if completely unknown) then a TAC case may be required to escalate it to the rule writing team further
But your submissions do get to us, and it is being used by the spam team from automated system to manual humans writing out rules.

As of now we copied the stanadard program and sending the customer statements by email, one by one.
if i execute the z program it will show the customer statement and send mail option.
if i click send mail it will send that customer statement to the corresponding customer.
then again i need to click back, it will show next customer statement and click on send mail.
Pl guide me, if any one worked on this program.

You first need to copy that program to Z and make the changes in it. Can you convert sapscript to smartform?
then you can write a logic to send mail in the loop.

The same way you send a picture in an email! Write the email and attach the file.
If you don't know where the song file is, find the track in your iTunes library, and use the command File > Show in Finder.
