Send email as another address?

I have a gmail address that sends email as another address. Is there a way I can send from another address other than my gmail login in the Touch?

Are you able to receive messages with your contacts' number? Are you using iMessages? If so, go to Settings>Messages>Send&Receive>only your phone number should be enabled.

Mailbox sending emails from another address?

I don't think this is in the right category however I couldn't work out which forum to put it under.
Basically I have several accounts in my mailbox. I recently deleted one of them as I don't want to use that email address anymore, however, emails are STILL sending from that email addressdespite it not being listed in my mailbox anymore and even when I've chosen the actualy email address I want to send it from in the drop down (where this old one no longer appears)
Why is this happening? They're Gmail accounts by the way.

You can check your Gmail SMTP (outgoing) account setting in Mail > Preferences > Accounts (see below). Make sure it's set to the correct account.

i found out how to do this finally!
1) set up google gmail account to forward your emails to (from the [email protected])
2) go to your gmail account
3) go to settings (cog in right hand corner)
4) go to 'accounts and import'
5) go to 'send mail as'
6) click 'Add another email address you own' - add your [email protected] address
7) google will send a verification email with code to that email address.
8) enter code
9) go back to gmail account >'send mail as' and select 'make default'
10) close mac 'mail' program and reopen it.
as long as you have gmail account selected as the primary account in MAIL - mail will now come throught as being sent from that [email protected] address!!

Sending email to multiple address using Utl_Smtp

I want to send email to multiple address using the Utl_Smtp feature.
When I am sending email to one email address in the To:Field it works fine.However, when I send
to multiple address I am getting the below error.I am using a table(Email_test) to store all email id.

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol RFC 5321 specifications.
      RCPT TO:<forward-path> [ SP <rcpt-parameters> ] <CRLF>
   The first or only argument to this command includes a forward-path
   (normally a mailbox and domain, always surrounded by ">" and "<"
   brackets) identifying one recipient.In other words, you can only define a SINGLE mailbox address at a time. Multiple addresses requires multiple repeats of this command verb, once per maibox.
Do not confuse this and the To: tag line in the Mime header that contains a comma delimited list of recipients. That tag line can contain anything - it is not parsed, not checked, and not verified as matching the actual recipient mailboxes as specified via the RCPT TO verb.

Sending email from different addresses under one account.

So, I'm having an issue that's a little bit complicated, and in fact, I don't even know if there is a solution. But, if anyone knows how to do this, I'd greatly appreciatte your help.
So, here's what I'm trying to do.
Right now, I have three different email accounts, an icloud and two gmails. I have both of those gmails set up so that they forward to my icloud account. So, in the mail app on my iphone, I only have my icloud account. I've been trying to reduce clutter by doing this, and it seems to be working pretty well, save for this issue.
The problem I am having is still being able to respond to emails sent to one of those two gmail accounts with the same email address. I.e.-if someone emails me at my gmail account, it's then forwarded to icloud, but I still want to respond from that gmail account using the mail app on my iphone. I'd like to do this without setting adding the two "dead" gmail accounts onto my phone, because everything is more streamlined when I'm only using icloud.
I've been able to do this using iMail on my mac by adding the two gmail addresses to my icloud account in settings, as well as the gmail server. So on my mac, I only have icloud set up in imail, but I can compose emails using my two gmail addresses. I pretty much want to be able to do the same thing on my iphone.
Does anyone know how this can, or even if, it can be set up?
Also, if it can't be done in the native mail app to ios, do you know of any third party apps where something like this would be possible?

Thank you for your question.
When he replies to my email and changes the "send From"
to [email protected] and send the email, It will still show that it was sent from @mainDomain.com.
Now, I think the issue is within his Exchange mailbox, his default reply email address is @MainDomain.com.
A:You are right. By our testing. We could just send emails with primary address, but we could receive emails with primary address and second address.
How do I get around this. The client wants to utilize sending email from both domains since he has clients in both domains.
A: If we want to send email with specific email address, we could manually modify the primary email address to the specific domain by Exchange administrator. And the client didn’t use customized email address to send emails.

Problem sending email to gmail address

My husband and I both have Blackberry Curve 8330.
Our daughter has a Samsung Exclaim.
We're all on the same account with Sprint.
When I try to send an email to my daughter's gmail address, the message does not go through. I get a red X next to the message on my display. (I use hotmail)
My husband can send emails to her address from his phone with no problem.
I can send emails to any other email address, including other gmail addresses.
Can anyone help me fix this problem?

I suggest the following steps:
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your BIS conduits for the affected email accounts.

Why I can't send email using my ovi mail account to some email address and also i can't send email using Thunderbird? So what is the problem?
I can't send email to any address using Mozilla Thunderbird. Every time show "Login to server mail.ovi.com failed." but Thunderbird download my ovi account email without any problem. how do i fix this error. I don't know where to post this matter!

Yahoo has messed with their stuff lately (honestly they've been messing with their servers for months)
One thing would be if you guys wanted to use the yahoo mail app, or there have been other users posting solutions that they say work for them

These have applied to people not able to get mail but changing the settings may help you and your wife. (My yahoo is still working so I haven't needed to try any of these)
I've noticed with my Yahoo that they've changed their login protocols. For example 'stay signed in' is always clicked and the push is for people to merge multiple accounts to access their multiple yahoo from one account/sign in instead of signing out/in to access different accounts. I'm wondering if that change is what's messing with the protocols needed for iOS mail to work. But no one really knows for sure (and neither Apple or Yahoo will comment on the issue)
About all users can do is find work arounds that work for them.
If these don't work or if you don't want to use the yahoo mail app, you might try using safari to go to yahoo.com and access your mail that way.

TS3899 Problems sending email from hotmail addresses in iPad Mail

I am having problems sending email from my hotmail addresses (live.com) in the Mail program on my iPad. I get a message that says "An error occurred while sending this message". Tis morning the program worked perfectly. Now, not so much!
I have turned my iPad off and on. I have deleted and reinstalled the mail accounts. Neither strategy helped.
I have no problems with my gmail address. I can send mail if I log on to the hotmail website in Safari.
Any ideas?

I would like to find a way to only have the gmail inbox but still send from any three of her accounts.
You can do it this way:
Set up only one account. The one from which you want to receive mail.
In Mail > Preferences > Accounts > +gmail acct+ > Email Address insert the other email addresses, separating each with a comma and single space.
Only the GMail account will receive incoming Mail. However, when you want to send from another address, in the From dropdown menu toggle the address from which you wish to send mail.
You will, of course, delete the other accounts you have created to avoid getting incoming messages.

How to configure SCOT/RFC destination to send email to external addresses

I have an ABAP program which sends out an email to email addresses such as [email protected], i configured SCOT and entered our company exchange server address in the SMTP node, and it works just fine. Problem is the program also needs to send emails to internet mail id's such as [email protected] or [email protected], and here it doesnt work, the email request shows up in SOST as failed saying that the address is unrecognized, we are able to send receive emails from internet id's as well using our email client (outlook), i just have no idea how to get the same to work from my ABAP program, i guess i am missing some BASIS configuration, can anybody help please?

Iphone sending emails from wrong address

My Iphone is sending emails from a gmail account I no longer wish to use. I cannot find any trace of these details on the phone, I have deleted and set up the one I want to use but it is still happening. I am missing important messages because I send them from the correct details but if people hit 'reply' they are sent to gmail. Soooooo annoying!

Reboot your iPhone. Then check Settings > Mail > Accounts and make sure the account you no long want to use is either turned off ( if you plan to use it again in the future) or deleted.

Cannot send emails to .gmail address with bluewin account

My mum has an IMac (Snow Leopard) with a bluewin account and cannot send emails to a friend with a .gmail account. She gets an error message 17099, I think. Thanks for your help.

The destination of a mail message has nothing to do with locally reported errors attempting to send. If you could send, and the destination was wrong, generally all that would happen is you would get a "bounce" message that the receiver couldn't be found, and that wouldn't be instantaneous.
Real errors like you describe that occur while sending means that either there's something wrong with your SMTP configuration (settings needed to send to the SMTP server) you set up in your mail client, or the SMTP server itself has a problem.
Does this error occur with every mail you attempt to send to anyone or just that specific account? Can you send a mail to yourself? And also, which email client are you using?

Gettin a MAPI error when sending emails from another program

Using Thunderbird, I used to ne able to send emails from MYOB.
Since an update of Thunderbird on one particular machine, it no longer works. It comes up with a MAPI error. All the other computers in the network send from MYOB with no problem.
Could someone please assist as the computer that wont send is the invoicing computer!

Trying to change my security questions - to purchase apps - cannot reset questions - as it does not have my correct email address on reset security. Help - how can I get correct password on security to reset.

Apple Mail keeps sending my email from another address

When I got my Mac, I added two email addresses (both Gmail server but different "@ portions" i.e. @gmail.com and @___.org). I've deleted the @___.org email because it didn't matter whether I sent it from one email or the other, they both end up in sent items of mny @___.org email. So even replies from my @gmail.com address gets sent to the other email.
So yeah I've deleted the other email and I'm pretty sure I didn't link the two accounts on Gmail so I'm not sure what's happening.
Anyone know how to solve this? Cheers
