Send Incoming Texts (IMESSAGE) to My E Mail Address

I researched a post that stated to "add my email address (make sure the checkmark is there) to settings, messages, send messages to...."
I did that, and tested it but it does not work. The incoming text does not appear in my e mail in box.
I operate a business where everything has to be documented for the file. When I receive data from a client in text form, I have to be able to print the text. I did so in the past by simply e mailing the text to myself. Asking clients to not text me is not an option.
I converted to IPHONE today from Android, and cannot find anything similar to the Zee Software app that specifically allows any text to be sent to any desired e mail address. I have done quite a bit of searching and am not finding anything commensurate w/ IPHONE.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't be the only IPHONE user that has to print their texts but I can't seem to find any solution.
I'm aware of the screenshot method but that is not a feasible long term solution b/c most of my incoming texts and threads are longer than one screen-shot's worth of data.

How are you trying to change it ?
You should be able to log out of an account by clicking on it at the top left of the store's pages on your computer's iTunes, or via the Store > Sign Out menu option (if you are using a PC and the drop-down menus aren't showing at the top of iTunes then control-B should get them to show). You can then sign in with your own account (the Store > Sign Out menu option should change to a Sign In option) - does that work ?

Check your settings> messages and see if iMessages is turned on and if so how many 'receive at' addresses you are using, it may well be that your email address is entered as one of these addresses.

Hi,
Go to the iPhone
GO to Settings > Messages
Is the iPhone Number ticked to be enabled (It will be greyed out and not editable but should be On)
If it is Off (Unticked remove the Apple ID)
Place the iPhone in Airplane mode for a few minutes.
Go back to Settings Messages and make sure the Message app Is Enabled overall.
Check the iPhone Number is verifying.
When Completed test by sending an iMessage to your Apple ID (Mac)
If that works add back the Apple ID to the iPhone's Settings.
Restart the Mac App and Accept the op ups that appear as to what the iPhone is using.

The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

Sending a iMessage via an e-mail address

Hey all.
So I stream some games online and I was wanting to be able to interact with my viewers more, like if they have a iPhone and iOS 5 they are able to send me an iMessage asking if I am streaming or if they just want to chat.
Thing is, I don't really want to release my phone number on the internet, so my question is, If I add an e-mail address to my iMessage "Recieve At", will my viewers be able to go into "Messages" and type in the e-mail address I create and will they be able to send me the message?
Also is there any way they are able to find out my last name or mobile number from this?

Are the people in question iPhone users? If so, the message would go as an iMessage if that email was their Apple ID. If that's the case, you can copy and paste the text into an email or screenshot it and email the picture.

Send incoming texts to email?

I'm going to be traveling in Europe for two weeks, so my iPhone won't work. Does anyone know of an app or program that will automatically send a copy of incoming texts to an email address? I've found several things that claim to do this for Android devices, but nothing for Apple.

When I text (imessage) my girlfriends iphone I keep getting the exact same message sent to my iphone at the same time, how do I stop it doing this. It only started recently. I must have changed a setting but Ive only had the phone a week so not sure. HELP

If you dont want to recieve eachother messages, then the best solution is for one of you to sign out of the apple id in Settings, itunes and appstore, tap on the apple id, tap sign out, then create a new apple id for that person and resign back in to itunes with the new apple id. This will alleviate your problem.

Send a text Doc as attachment to mail-id through sales order output type

when i create a SD document and select an output type and external mode before i save the document, it generates a PDF document as an attachment and sents an email. I would like to send a text document as an attachment. Can anybody please tell me the procedure to convert or send the text document as attachment.

Unable to send email from my server to internet mail address. Labview.

I have had great success sending mail when I SMTP to the actual mail server that the email address is on. But when I try to send from my server to some other email address I get an unable to relay "email address" server response. If someone has any ideas on this I would appreciate it. I have included some information that may aid in this endeavor. (I do not want to use Active X thanks to Outlook's dislike of that)

I agree, it is ususual for an SMTP server to check the validity of the reverse-path address, because mailers could just use a invalid address on a valid domain, e.g. [email protected] The address in the "MAIL FROM:" command gives the reverse path to communicate errors and can be different from the actual sender address.
In any case, this is quite irrelevant for the current discussion, because address verification has nothing to do with relaying.
The error message:
550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [email protected]
is completely unrelated to your:
450 Unable to find nowhere.com
Just to clarify, I was talking about address in the FROM: field of the message header, and not what is
communicated in the "MAIL FROM:" SMTP command. (Similarly, the TO: field in the header is not used for message targeting and can be anything, it can even be missing and the SMTP server still does not care. Targeting is done entirely with the RCPT TO: SMTP command which not contained in the header (the mail header is part of the message DATA). Refer to RFC 821 for further details.
You probably won't find a legitimate SMTP server that allows relaying, so the solution is to use the designated SMTP server for the particular location.

In my travel workflow i use to send all e-mail and all work-item to the users.
The system forward all task and email to the e-mail address present on the e-mail present in the transaction SU01 filed e-mail.
We to the automatic forward and the system work's fine.
Now the client want to change the system and send the task directly by the e-mail saved on the infotype 0105 subtype 0010.
I have a function that find the e-mail and put there into the workflow contenitor in one field define like this:
WFSYST-INITIATOR.
i have try to define this field like SOXNA-FULLNAME but only the e-mail are process correctly, the work-item not.
This client use lotus notes to approve the task.
There is someone that had my problem?

If you use [email protected] instead of a valid agent your workflow will not necessarily crash, but it will not work as intented and you will just create additional work for the workflow administrator (which may happen to be yourself).
There are at least two possible outcomes if you try to pass an e-mail address as the agent.
1) the workflow ends in status error since no agents were found for the work item
2) the work item is sent to all possible users for the relevant task. If your task is a general task that means it will be available for all users in your system.
You do not have to navigate all the way to the user name. Several different types of agents are possible, including
"US<SAP user name>"
"P <employee number>" (since you have connection to user in infotype 0105)
"S <position>" (again, possible due to infotype 0105)
"A <work group>"
SAP will find out who the relevant users are if the agent that is determined is either an employee, position, work group or even an organization unit. With the exception of work groups you need to have infotype 0105 for this to work.
You can have a direct relationship from user name to work group, so you don't <u>have to</u> have infotype 0105 for work groups.

hi! does anyone know how to send mass text message to a group i already have set up in address book/contacts? i have tried looking up the group as a contact to send a text but that doesn't work. am i just missing something here?
