Send invite option not happening

Clicking on my attendees for an event, I get a 'send email' option, not a send invitation. If I send the email, it arrive at the recipient but it's completely blank.
I can recieve invitations OK.
Ical 1.5.5 with 10.3.9

I have identical symptoms on a G4 and G5 running 10.4.6. Perhaps it has been disabled by a recent software upgrade.

When I try to invite a developer to our organization's Apple Dev Portal, the 'Send Invitation' link is inactive. I also tried the bulk invite where the button appears to be active but does not respond when clicked. Is anyone else having this issue? I submitted a bug report last week and haven't heard anything.

Still no update from PA Networks - it is like they are in total denial that Mountain Lion exists!
The Cisco app works but only just and is very slow, i think that may be more to do with us than the use of the app. Bear in mind we used to use the Cisco service and so it is not something I had to set up from scratch but it is not something our network team are happy about as this service was buried and was not supposed to be supported any more.
I am also using a Cisco SSL webvpn for accessing our intranet etc. it is a quicker fix for a few things. Like you I am now using 2 laptops...one is an old Dell...it is horrible!

Send Using: option not available when replying to emails

I have multiple e-mail accounts setup on my flip.
Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, work account on BES.
When I reply to any message I got to my Hotmail account, at the top there is a 'Send Using:' and it is set to the account I am currently replying from, in this case the Hotmail account.
I cannot choose any of my other email accounts when I click this option. However if I go to Forward or go to Compose - Email Message, I can go and choose whatever account I can send from.
Is there any way I can change this so when I reply to a message I can pick which account is replying?

When I send invites for events in ical, the event does not show up on the person I invited calendar

I am sending invites to my co-worker on a Mac through ical. When my co-worker accepts the event it doesn’t show up on his ical. How do I fix this?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You need to link your iPhone number to Messages - and Facetime if you use it. For Messages go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at. If your phone number is showing there, select it as your Contact address. If it doesn't appear in there, take a look at the end of this article for help.

Hi, everyone. I just got new ipad2 with 3G now (the one before didn't have 3g) and I was hoping to send texts from my ipad. Not happening... Any reason why?

I just got another ipad, now with 3g . I did hope I'll be able to text from it...not happening. The address goes idle/red with a red exclamation mark. I spent 15 min with Apple on the phone. Didn't help. Can I really send texts from IPAD2 with 3g?

The email to which you are sending it to may not be correct. You can only send it an Apple ID with that email. For example, I could try to send it to my friend Bob who frequently uses the email bob@sample_email.com but his Apple ID may be bobby@sample_email.com. Maybe that helps?

ICal not sending invites

Hey,
Is there anybody experienced tha problem when trying to send invite (meeting request) via iCal it sais:
iCal could not send the invitation.
To send invitations, create a card in Address Book.
I've created Address Book card for that person but it didn't solve my problem.
Any thoughts?

Solution: just add yourself in Address Book and click "Card" -> "Make This My Card" for iCal to know whom to put in "From" field.

I cannot get my "send link" option undfer the File menu to work. Nothing happens. I went under options and set mailto to my Gmail but no luck.

I tried it again using "save link as", and this time it actually worked! I just now downloaded several more using the "save link as" option, and it works perfectly. Thanks. Problem solved.

Calendar not sending invitations

My calendar does not send meeting invitation once I press 'done'.

My calendar does not send invitations when I add the attendees. According to the guide it should automatically send these invitations once I enter the contact details and press 'done'. I have tried it with both individual and multiple invitations.
Please advice as this is a a key feature that I require.
PS - I have also tried reinstalling the latest update.

When right clicking to send a link , the` send link` option does not appear as n option on the menu list.

the ``send link`` option just disappeared..It happened immediately after an automatic update to firefox when my computer has to be restarted about a month ago.
sometimes a ``copy link location`` will be on the list...and that will allow me to send on a link..but normally now it rarely appears and send link has disappeared entirely from the right clicked menu box.

hello bblauman, mozilla does clean up the interface of the browser from time to time - a user study has shown that this context menu entry is only used by a small fraction of the users. however, in case you miss this functionality you could use an addon to recover it: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/send-link-in-context-menu/

Firefox will not open unless i reboot and the "send Link" option no longer works

after firefox is opened it works fine for awhile and then when i close the browser the desktop icon is unresponsive to o pen again unless i reboot. also, the "send Link" option, that always worked before, now does not.

I had tried this before, but went ahead and tried this again.
I clicked on "reset Firefox". Firefox closed, but did not come back up. When I tried to open it again, I did receive a message that said Firefox is running but is not responding, that I couldn't open another window without stopping the processes on the other page.
I never got a window that showed me the information that was imported, or a place to click finish.
Since I don't believe this completed, I don't believe my problem will be solved.

Send option not available for Resources

My customer has reported an issue with a pair of GroupWise resource(s).
Basically the "Send" button is not available when the owner is logged in and trying to send message, only the "Post" option is available. From reports it appears that it is displaying messages as posted notes, instead of messages.
I hope that I'm explaining this issue correctly, if additional information is needed please let me know.

Has this worked before? With other resources?
Are these new resources or ones that have been around a while?
Are both accessed from the same client or from different ones?
Are there regular scheduled GWChecks run on this system? Analyze/fix for
Structure and another for Contents?
Which version is the POA and the client(s) in question?
