'Send Invoice to' address in the PO printout

Hi Experts,
Could you please help me with an issue I am working on. We have one Co.Code and POrg creating PO's for vendors in US and UK. Our Co. Code and Plant address is of Middle East and we want 'Send invoice to' address on the PO printout to be based on the vendor selection. I-e if vendor is a US one, 'send invoice address' should appear as a 'US PO Box' and if vendor is a UK one, 'send invoice to' address should appear as 'UK PO Box'. Is it some thing that can be controlled by ABAP and Smart fomrs or any other functional way around is available?

Hi SAP MM1,
You can very well achieve this using SMART FORMS. You have to give logic to your ABAPer if plant number is X it should pick address of US & if plant address is Y it should pick address of UK.

You need to
check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
on the Outgoing Server tab and select the radio button for "Use same settings as my incoming mail server."

Thank you for the update.
If I knew how design engineers thought then I probably would have become one.
You should be able to see who sent the email to the printer by logging into your HP ePrintCenter account or your HP Connected account (HP Connected has only been rolled out to the USA, the UK, France, and Germany). Each account has a job/print history available. If you are unsure who sent the job to the printer, you can always log into your account and check the email address the print job was sent from. I’ve included a screen shot from each account and I've highlighted where you would find the email address that sent the print job.

Send invoice by email

Hi All,
We have a requirement to send invoices by email.
The user will be able to control by providing transaction number and email ids of addressees (if not the email ids need to be picked from customer details). Based on the input, the invoice should be dynamically generated and pdf generated. The pdf should have the company logo.
We have xml publisher on the instance and i read that it would be the better option to use xml bursting to send a batch of invoices.
Can anyone help or guide to any article which can give a step by step process for the report generation, publisher part and the bursting.

Address Book/Mail: sending to two addresses from one contact in a group

I would like to send an e-mail to two addresses from address book, but it is only one contact/family name. It seems it only lets you pick one for a group. Does anyone know how to pick multiple e-mail address for one contact name/family in a group so I don't have to manually look up each name?

Rather than dragging the card in from the Address Book, start typing the person's name. Mail will give you a pop-up menu on choices. Pick one. Then repeat and pick the other. This is less convenient if you want to put someone in a group and send to both addresses in the group... in that case, V.K.'s solution is the best you'll do.

How do I save a sender's email address to my address book without typing it in manually?

I used to be able to right click and save an address to my contacts with my old email program, but I can't figure out how to do it with TB.

You simply click the star right next to the sender's email address in the message header. This files the address to your Personal Addressbook and the star turns yellow.
You can click the star again to edit the contact.

Redirect shows original sender's email address in To:

Looking at email I've redirected, Mail shows the person I've redirected to in the Resent-To: field, but also the original sender's email address in the To: field. This concerns me, because I frequently use redirect to redirect spam to my spam filter, 'Positini', and would be very upset if Mail is also backshooting it to the spammer.
Does anyone have insight into if this is truly happening?

Tested, it doesn't seem to actually send a copy to the original sender, although it looks like it.

How allow only 2 sender lots of addresses

my environment is Messaging Server 5.2 hf 2.06 and Directory Server 5.1 sp2.
my problem is: how I can limit the number of addesses to all the sender except for 2 specified sender? I mean: I limited the total number of addresses for all, but I need that 2 sender (internal mail address of the messaging server) can send an email to a dynamic mailing list that exceed this limit.

I wouild create actual mailing lists in the LDAP. There are ldap attributes such as, "msgrpallowedbroadcaster", where you put in who is allowed to send to the group.

HT2486 I have a group that I use to send emails out to - many have multiple email address that I would like to send to both addresses.

I have a group that i send emails to. One of the contacts has two email address and would like emails sent to both. When i send from the group it only sends to one address. How can i choose to send to both addresses in the contact card?

I have actually given up and added gmail account which is working fine.
Sends and receives no problem.

We are not remote at all. Sitting in the fantastic Pavilion Hotel in Phnom Penh. Another couple here having trouble but not bigpond. Hotel staff have tried to help but to no avail.
Giving up and stick with gmail until we get home then start trying to get resolution.
Problem actually existed on a personal wi fi network in Melbourne before we left so I should have tried to resolve it then.

Send invoice (copies) to multiple email address

Is it possible to send invoice(copies) to multiple email address? how?
Understand that we can maintain multiple email add for a customer. Example if 5 email add has been maintained for customer A, let say if I need to email 1 original invoice to email add 1 and email the other 2 copies invoice to email add 2 & 3 , how do I select the email add 1, 2 & 3 from the customer under the OUTPUT of change invoice (VF02) when we only input the customer code under Partner?

I'm running into a very weird problem with the printout of the address in the invoice. the command is as follows:

what happend is that when the customer's country &VBDKR-LAND1& is equal to the &VBDKR-SLAND& the address is not printed, but if the customer's country is different than &VBDKR-SLAND& then the address is printed.

Hello Oli,
not to get off topic but I wonder why all the additional code. Your code is how we coded addresses in pre-4.6c environment. This example is how we code in SAP release 4.6c and 4.7 to avoid any problems between SADR, ADRC, ADRP, etc and OY01 Address format layout considerations. Also, in 4.6c or higher, we found all records create an address record whether or not you double click in on a partner to change a value or not making this an attractive and simpler approach.
One more note is that there are user-exits available for the Address_get functions should you need to format an address specific to a particular country relation, etc but this is rarely done and should be avoided. It is a good idea to try and keep OY01 settings standard to those provided by SAP.

Send Invoice by email using email address of partner function

Hi everybody,
I am facing a problem with sending invoices by email. In particular I have created in customizing a new partner function of type contact person, namely "email address recipient". This partner function is used to get the correct email address which is different from the one stored in customer master data.
The problem is that when i print the messagge, the email address used is exactly the one of the customer master data and not the one stored in the partner function "email address recipient".
Example:
customer xxx email address yyy,
for xxx it is defined a partner function email address recipient zzz with email jjj.
The invoice message is always sent to yyy.
Do you have any suggestions to solve this issue?

Sending email using Exchange 2013 defined email addresses not the account email address.

Currently we are using exchange 2013. Let's say a user has a mailbox account defined that has a default email reply address of [email protected] Now I define additional email address for the same account. When the user tries to send an email he can only send from
the default email address. Is it possible to send from a defined email anndress and not the default account email address?

Not natively with Exchange.
You will need 3rd party software if you want to have only one mailbox and the ability to send as any of the proxy addresses associated with it

Try Mail>Preferences>Accounts icon>Account Information tab>Click on the Outgoing SMTP server drop down, choose edit Server list, highlight the old one & click Remove.
(Such convolution is worthy of Windows® in my estimation)
