Send message via outbox

Can T bird be set to send to Outbox prior to actual sending and then send direct from the Outbox when ready? I don't like it being "gone" to server in one step. I did like the Windows Live Mail process for this.

instead of using the send button, use the send later entry on the file menu (Alt+F)

I write a function in main.asc file , client can get users
list via call the function.
I write some codes in application.onConnect
when a user connect, it will add users list.
In application.onDisconnect, when a user disconnect, it will
remove from users list.
My hope when a user disconnect, I send a message to
shareobject. the shareobject is called in other clients.
Other client can retrieve the remove user message, they will
call the function to get new users list.

Can't send message via account IMPA has a red dot against it? help

Hi i'm sending messages via my google account and it isn't working - now the password is correct but it keeps coming up with IMPA in the correction doctor and well i have no idea, why this has happened and how to resolve it as its been working fine. HELP as its really frustrating as i have to go to the account provider (google) to do any of my work now. Ps i seem to be getting incoming mail but cant send. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion - it turned out that it was actually my workplace's network that automatically blocks external SMTP servers (for some security reason), so the email(s) sent perfectly once I went home and connected to May home network. Annoying!

i'm a new hand, and i want to develop an App for iphone, the App should be able to send and receive text message with other iphones,i mean the App could connect with other devices via Wi-Fi but not SMS,can anybody give me a hand please,thank you.

You're going to want to elaborate on your environment and on your goals. Terse questions often aren't easy to answer, after all.
Consider whether you have or want a peer or a server running on the target (this isn't common practice on iOS), or whether you're looking for something akin to iChat or Jabber or Twitter, or if you're looking to use Apple Push Notification Service (APNs), or something else, and on why you're looking to avoid SMS.
Messages via IP or any number of other protocols are entirely feasible, but you have to contend with the target clients on iOS that might well go into the background in this context; you get about ten minutes time when your application is not in front, and depending on the particular context. This is where SMS and APNs schemes arise, as well as ActiveSync push notifications or analogous. And this particularly because continuously running an application can consume the user's battery.
Suggestions? Start reading the iOS developer documentation and Apple's requirements for the behavior of iOS applications. Probably a look at APNs, too. I'd also suggest visiting the Apple developer mailing lists (free) or the Apple iOS Developer Forums (access provided as part of the iOS Developer program membership), as well; those see far more developer-oriented traffic than do these forums.

My messaging app on my OS X Mavericks is disconnected from my iPhone number. It now sends messages via my email. How do I switch it back?

I had to reset my password through my phone in order to download an app since I forgot my password. But now when I go to message other iPhones through the messaging app on my MacBook Pro, it sends them via my email. I thought I reconencted my account and phone and computer when I logged into my computer and it prompted me to. What's happening? How do I change it back to sending messages with my phone number?

In Messages > Preferences > Accounts and th iMessages account (on the Mac) you should see the options for Receive At.
IS the iPhone Number one of these ?
Is it ticked to be Enabled ?
You can also set Send From at the drop down at the bottom (when you have twor choices or more in the Receive At list).
IF the iPhone Number is missing check the iPhone > Settings > Messages.
Does this list the Apple ID ?
Is it an Enabled option to Send and Receive messages ?
If it is not there or not enabled (or Enabling it does not achieve anything) then Remove the Apple ID.
Place the iPhone in Airplane mode for a few minutes (Break with all the servers)
On returning to the Messages Settings check the iPhone number appears to be Enabled (it will be greyed out as a choice you can change)
Add back the Apple ID.
Restart the mac Version.
Accept the pop ups that tell you the iPhone is using it's Number and the Apple ID

Wired keyboard on iPhone / Send messages via Mac

Hi,
Okay my aim is to be able to view and reply to messages using my mac keyboard (Wired, so no bluetooth)
The ways I've thought about it is to use an app that can view & send messages on my mac (most preferred option but so far only been able to view messages)
Or somehow connect to my mac via bluetooth from my phone and trick the phone into thinking my mac is a bluetooth keyboard (if that makes sense)
I have an iPhone 4, up to date and so far the only option I've seen is to jailbreak and use VNC which I really don't want to do...

i'm using iPad 2 and at the start i could chat with my friends by iMessage ' from my iPad to there iPhone , but not anymore , lately i can't send message anymore , any message i am tryna sending show me this error (check out the images i uploaded for ya ). at the start it's looks like its gonna send then stop
just to make it clear , i used to chat with this guy and all used to work find . and i try to all my contact that using iphone . not only this one.

Cannot send message via iCloud with movie

Email is sent if I remove my embedded/attached 23MB Quicktime movie is removed but not with the movie - via iCloud.
and my other (non-iCloud) account doesn't send any mail at all.

I went into #3 stmp.me.com.myname[STMP] and made changes I wanted to be in conformity with instructions of iCloud: Mail server information.
     So now the Account info reads 1: Description = my email address at [email protected]
                                                      2:   Server name = stmp.me.com
                                                       3: Default port 587 was already active
                                                       4: Authentication = Password (my iCloud password from Keychain                                                                                                                                              access)
                                                        5: Username = my name
                                                        6: Password = (my iCloud password from Keychain access)
But got this alert: "Could not save changes. The servers marked with alert icons are in conflict and cannopt be saved. Two servers cannot share the same address and authentication settings.   Resolve the conflicts and try again."
I think (look but guessing) that my changes to #3 become in conflict with #4 -- and I don't see how to get out of the conflict (other than not saving the changes I made to #3 in accordance with iCloud: Mail server information.)
I am lost! Should I delete #4? confused and anxious . ....

I just downloaded the latest version of FF and now I can't send messages via hotmail.

On April 6th, 2011 I downloaded the latest version of FF and shortly thereafter I found that I could not send mail from my hotmail account. I can receive, edit, read etc. I can do most everything EXCEPT send. I can, however, send mail from IE so it is definitely something within the new FF.

Yup I experienced the same problem. My workaround was to throw out the latest version and go back to iTunes 10.5. I'm on a Mac so the problem is on both PC and Mac platforms. Hard to believe that this software got released with such a serious problem.

Sending messages via .mac through Outlook

Has anyone had problems sending emails through .mac using Outlook? This has been a recent problem for me, whereas, never had a problem before.

I finally hard coded 'iso-8859-1' into the Deliver.class.php file, and the problem went away. This is obviously not a good solution. Why isn't the $default_charset variable being passed from the config.php file to the deliver.class.php routine?
Now that it's working, I'll probably upgrade to the latest Squirrelmail. Maybe it gets fixed. However this was as standard OS X Server setup, I'm surprised I'm the only one to experience the problem.

Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...
Try this First...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
