Send my traffic through PSTN when my network is down

Dear all,
I am using as5350 for my voip traffic.I want to send my traffic directly through PSTN when my IP network is down. I mean i want to recive a call from a pots dial-peer and send it to another pots dial-peer. can u plz help me?

[SOLVED] No new window when the network is down

Hi all,
My problem is quite simple: when my network connection is down, every application I try to launch take ages before the new window appear (whatever the application is: xterm, firefox, ...).
I suppose that it's due to a bad configuration of my local loop but I can't understand where is the problem. I'm behind a NAT, here is what ifconfig says:

(Note that I don't have any idea of why the 169.254.0.0/16 route is there as it's absolutely not a part of my network).
I tried to add a route for localhost using lo but nothing changes.
my hosts.allow contains all my local IP addresses (127.0.0.1, 192.168.0.2) and all the iptables policy are ACCEPT without any other rules.
Can someone explain to me why I can't use my computer when my network is down ?

Do you have a proper localhost entry in /etc/hosts?
Like
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost hostname_of_your_pc

Slowness problem sending traffic through CX module

People in the remote site access a SharePoint site via HTTP with Internet Explorer and open Microsoft documents. When I configure the ASA to send HTTP traffic through the CX module it slows opening documents to a crawl (Over 5 minutes to open) but everything else works fine. When I don’t send traffic through the CX module the documents open quickly (seconds) with no issue. So what I need to do is HTTP traffic going to and from the remote site needs to bypass the CX module or set it up so only HTTP traffic coming from the main site and site A going only to the internet goes through the CX module. How can I set this up to accomplish this?

Configuration to send the smartform through fax

Hi,
I have used CONVERT_OTF_AND_FAX and SO_OBJECT_SEND FM's to send the smartform through fax.After executing SO_OBJECT_SEND function module,I am getting sy-subrc alue as 9(OBJECT_NOT_SEND).I am able to send the document through fax.But when I click on display in SOST transaction it is just printing the output of the smartform.It is not coming in PDF format.
The code looks fine.I think there is some problem with confuration settings.Is there any configuration to be done to send the smartform output through fax?

Actually,my requirement is to send the smartform output through email with medium 'external send'.I have done some coding for that.it is working fine and I am able to send the smartform through email and open the attachment in PDF format.
But if the email id of the recipient is not present then the smartform output has to be sent through fax with the same medium 'external send'.
So I have done some coding to send the smartform through fax when the email id is not present.
I am able to send the output of smartform through fax.But when I clicked on display in SOST transaction,it is not coming in PDF format.It is coming in RAW format.
Is it possible to send the smartform output through fax with medium 'external send'?

Fax not working when send and receive throguh PSTN

Fax failed when it is sent and received through PSTN. User are able to receive fax when sent and received using VoIP(onnet) but not through PSTN(offnet).

Try sending a fax to the HP Fax Back number: 1-888-473-2963, to see if you have the same results.
If you connect a phone to the printer, can you call out?
Update the printer's firmware. HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw Drivers.

The SMTP server you are using with Wi-Fi would be the outgoing server of your internet service provider... this is likely why that's working.
SMTP servers specific to a ISP would not work on the 3G network. You would probably need another SMTP server. One from your cell provider?

You haven't set up the SMTP (outgoing) mail server correctly. You probably didn't enter your user ID and password for the outgoing server. They are needed even though it says "optional".

I had same issue and I wrote a simple perl script that works as wake up service.
PERL is an interpreted language and so can be executed on Linux and Windows operating systems. Linux can interpret perl natively while for Windows you can download many free interpreters like Activeperl or Strawberry perl. To run the script you must use a third party server.
In my configuration the script runs on a linux server in background as a service and checks every minute the directory called "alarm", reads files and uses the file name as called number and checks the content to verify if is the time to call. At the moment the script uses SIP and handles 4 call responses: 404 user not found, 486 busy, 487 not answer and 200 answer ok. In every cases sends an email and deletes files. Only for the answer case plays a nice music.
Files have this particular format: file name is equal to calling party number and file content is the alarm time in 24 hours format with : as separator between hours and minutes.
e.g.
ext. 101 must be called at 8 am ---> write the file 101.txt with the content 08:00
ext. 101 must be called at 8:30 am ---> write the file 101.txt with the content 08:30
There is a limitation: if you activate the Authentication for SIP messages and there are more then two simultaneous calls, the script sends some INVITEs without authentication or with wrong checksum and so not all phones ring. This problem is under investigation.

Have you reset the password recently for the email account?
A real simple fix usually is to delete the mail account (settings < mail contacts calendars, tap the affected account and choose delete at the bottom) Then re add the account.

No internet access when "Send All Traffic" VPN Checked

Hi Ladies and Gents
Wonder if you can help me. These past few days I have been setting up a VPN on my DD-WRT enabled router. I have successfully accomplished such task, however when I'm connected to the VPN on my phone my public IP address does not change, after doing some reading I believe that is because "Send All Traffic" is unchecked in the VPN profile, but when I check "Send All Traffic" I get no internet access what so ever.
Any advice/input/solution to this would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK cameras offer their own built-in format utility for inserted SD cards. You should use that. Otherwise, refer to the manual that came with your camera to determine precisely how your SD cards need to be formatted to work properly. Personally, I'd suggest Partition Scheme: MBR, and Filesystem: FAT32.
Try to limit the number of formats you perform on the SD cards, though, as you're reducing their lifespan. I believe formatting causes re-writes to a portion of the SD card that has fewer read/write cycles than the rest of the card as a whole.

HELP: Cannot send mail when off network??

Hi we have set up the mail server on our Leopard server to host mail for our domain, we can successfully recieve and send mail when clients on on our internal network, and when off network can send as well. But when a client is not on the internal network (e.g. StarBucks or at home), they can not send mail using our server, even when on VPN. We have selected to use authentication, and the connection doctor in mail shows it is able to log in and connect with the server. any ideas?

I see it's been a month with no on-line response to your problem from Apple or anybody. That may indicate there isn't one that works 100%. I am having the exact same problem with all of the same companies. Add to it that I cannot get e-mail on my PC at home/office when the I-phone is turned on. I too have been in contact numerous times with Charter and Verizon, and have received zero return phone calls from either when promised. The use of iMessage depends on both the sender and the receiver having an active data connection. If either of the two connections are interrupted, the message can fail. The sending of an iMessage differs from the sending of an SMS, and if you are having SMS failures, that would be a carrier concern.
