Send Output to multiple mediam

Hi
WE have a scenario where we want to issue billing out out (ZV01) to Fax, To printer and to email to different people. Is it possible??
e,g, I created a billing document which has output type ZV01, which we want to go through the Fax to the customer, got the customer Email as a pdf document and print at a local printer so that it can be mailed too.

Hi Tridev,
You can assign multiple print medium(Fax, Email, Print, etc) in single output type but you can use one medium at a time and once you successfully process one (like Print) then you can proceed for another one (like Fax) for same output type and so on.

    Because in the customer master we can add more than one email id but system will select only one email id for sending the output.

    The requirement is for one customer master if i want to add more then one email id and for those email ids , I want to generate a invoice output using VF02 , We can add more than one email id in Customer master but we can not use all the email ids the same time to trigger the output.
    If I want to send the output to multiple email ids maintained in the customer master , how i can do that?

    Hi Arpit,
    Take a look at the documentation of FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' for parameter PACKING_LIST. I think you should set t_packing_list-head_num to a different value than 0 for the second attachment.

  • How to send mails to multiple recipents using SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API

    Hi ,
    I am using the FM "SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API".
    I am able to send an Excel sheet as attachement, but my requirement is to send multiple mails to the corresponding persons. I tried using coma, colan, semi colan as the separator in the import parameter SENDER_ADDRESS for two different mail id's but it was not useful.
    I need to send mails to multiple recipens using the same FM. (keeping one person in to list and two of the persons in CC.)

    I have an XML-to-File scenario working, but now I need to split my XSLT map output into multiple files based on the data.  I have been reading the Jin Shin blog on message splitting, but don't know that it pertains to my situation.
    XML data getting mapped with XSLT map creates output formatted like this.

    I currently have this output writing to a file (FTP, File Conversion).  A single file is no issue, but I need to send multiple files for every set of HDR/DTL(s).  I also need to put the invoice number in the filename (which is working fine as a parameter in my single FTP File CC now).
    Can I make this happen with message splitting and maybe a second map (GUI map)?  Do I need to adjust the XSLT output XML format to have an invoice level?  Is there a better way to go?

    I made a change to the namespace used on the Messages/Message1 nodes (since the system-assigned ns0 was already being used in my xml data) and now I am getting output. 
    The problem is that the output matches my input.  As aforementioned, I started with just a one-to-one mapping on every node and field. 
    When I change the mapping to try to force multiple ColdInvoiceData nodes, I get the following error (when my source has two Invoice nodes):

    The requirement is for one customer master if i want to add more then one email id and for those email ids , I want to generate a invoice output using VF02 , We can add more than one email id in Customer master but we can not use all the email ids the same time to trigger the output.

        For sending this to multiple receivers you dont have to use BPM. You can do it by putting the condition in deciding your receiver business system in your receiver determination. For each business system which is there as a receiver you need to provide individual interface determination also...

    Below is the requirement : -
    While doing an external send against the custom output type in transaction VF02, smartform is automatically send to the appropriate email address as pdf attachment. This email address can be sold to party/bill to party etc and it is controlled using configuration.
    Now the prb is, using such configuration we can send email to single email id only. I need to send the email to multiple users using the standard smartform interface ONLY i.e by using the parameter MAIL_RECEPIENT in the std. smartform interface.
    I have alredy evaluated the below workarounds for the above solution, but we need to implement the above functionality using standard smartform interface only.
    1) Convert the smartform OTF data to PDF format data and then send the PDF attachment via email to multiple recipients using the standard FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.
    2) Loop at the recipients table and within the loop pass different recipient to the interface parameter MAIL_RECIPIENT of smartform. Hence in this case smartform will be called within the loop which can cause performance issues incase of multiple recipients. Also the mail will be sent individually to every recipient.
    3) I have already checked by passing the distribution list the parameter MAIL_RECEIPIENT but it does not work.

    We are using the output type external send. But the standard PO process will send email to only 1 recipient. The email will be taken from the customer master where email is flagged as Standard.
    Is there any other way (or any user exit) to send invoice to a multiple recipient (TO and COPY-TO) maintained in customer master?

    If you have output type maintained in your system and you want to send it to multiple people then all you have to do is include the partner functions in the output type in transaction NACE or V/30. The system will automatically copy the email addresses from the partner profiles and mail will be sent...
    I hope it helps.
    Though if it a certain set of ppl that the mail has to be sent to every time a PO is raised then you will have to take the help of your ABAPer.

    This should be possible with the same output type,
    have the output type defined with multiple medium in NACE under processing routines. (say print out in one line & external send in another).
    have the condition record maintained appropriately for different customers with different medium.
    Note: if your access has customer, dont think you can maintain both 1 & 5 for the same access.
    if this functionality is required, i think you can acheive this by maintaining the output under different access, but this will not ensure the same condition type flowing into the document unless the earlier condition type goes to processed status.

  • Can't send emails to multiple recipients any more?

    Yesterday I had to send an email to some 30 other people (I only do this occasionally).
    It refused to go and I received this error message:-
    I have several email accounts but each one was the same.
    At that time I could not even send single emails but incoming emails were unaffected.
    Later in the day I received this email from my ISP mail account.
    Your emails may be blocked – please confirm your alternate BT Yahoo! Mail addresses
    Dear Customer,
    You’ve received a ‘553’ error message because we’ve upgraded your BT Yahoo! Mail account security to help protect against ‘spoofing’ – when people use alternate email addresses to disguise the real sender, possibly to commit fraud.
    What you need to do
    We need you to take a few minutes to confirm each of the BT Yahoo! Mail alternate email addresses you use are genuine. If you don’t, you might get more ‘553’ error messages and have problems sending emails. Just log in and follow these simple steps. We don’t ask for any personal information.
    This is rubbish and I had a similar one last year which I ignored, as the simple steps were far from simple, and the following morning all was back to normal.
    So I ignored this email and tried again this morning.
    I was still unable to send emails to multiple recipients but now I can send single emails OK!
    Any ideas what is going on?
    Is it Mail's fault or my ISP's?

    From the error message, it looks like there was a problem with at least one of the addresses ("NONE"). It is possible that a bad address is in the list you tried to send to.
    I don't know anything about BT Internet, so I can't confirm the authenticity of the email you received.
    You should be able to log into your BT account directly from the web without using any links sent in the email.
    The email also seems to indicate you used an alias as the reply-to (from) email address.
    You didn't mask out the username for your smtp server and it is definitely different from the from account. This may all be normal, but it does tend to match what the email is telling you.
