I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting-extensions-themes Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide ] and the [[Troubleshooting plugins]] article as well.
You should also read through [[Clipboard not working]] and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Clipboard_not_working article.

Or in a web based interface? Then check whether same happens in another browser to see whether that's a browser or website issue.

I have a feeling it may have something to do with HotMail.com.

My Error: I found out that it was Mozilla Thunderbird that was causing the problem. I uninstalled it and the problem went away.

Send Page Section By Email 'instr' problem

Weird. I have a section of a page that is emailed with the Send Page Section By Email function.
Testing locally (XP Pro, IIS) mailer works flawlessly and with no problems. Uploaded onto my webhost (Win Server 2003) I am getting the following error:
Invalid procedure call or argument: 'instr'
/admin/dir/email-page.asp, line 0
Can't track the error as there is no "line 0" on the page.
Anyone have any experience with this?

while I don´t have any knowledge about the possible reasons (I could help if it were PHP and and Apache server), the fact that stuff works fine locally, but not on a remote server does usually indicate a server configuration that´s either flawed or doesn´t match ADDT´s system requirements (http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver/addt/)
You also might try googling for "Invalid procedure call or argument: 'instr'" -- this returns lost of pages where this error message appears to be explained.
BTW, have all files residing in your locals site´s "includes" folder been uploaded to the remote server ?

I am operating on Windows 7. If I want to send a link of the web site I am viewing via email, I cannot do so unless I first close Outlook. Outlook is my default and Tools-Options-Applications confirms that. How do I Fix

When i send a link in email the person who recieves it can't open it .

Hi everybody - I seem to have a problem sending links in my emails . In ie9 there's no problem when i paste the link it appears in a blueish or purpleish color . No one ever has a problem opening it . When in firefox , I paste the link and it appears in black . When i send it no one can open it . Can anyone help me with this ?

Just above the textarea that you use to enter the message text on the "Compose New Mail page" there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic.<br />
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).<br />
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink.<br />
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each (e.g. Insert hyperlink).

Send a link via email that will start a workflow on a sharepoint online list

I am trying to send a hyperlink in an email that will start a workflow on a sharepoint online list. I am unable to use javascript because the end-user will be clicking this link on their mobile device. I have found many articles that get me almost there
but none of them will actually start the workflow.

Is it possible to start a workflow using a URL with out using javascript?

you can use ECMA script to Start the workflow. However you need to redirect to a sharepoint page and there on Load you can do this. Directly from Email I don't know.

"Send link by email" in IE9?

I have just moved from IE8 to 9, and I want to send a link by email. I often do this. I found a way:
Press Alt, to bring up the old menu, click on the File menu, hover over Send, and click "Link by email".
You have got to be joking! Please tell me I'm wrong, I'm missing something, or just that I'm plain stupid. Tell me anything, but don't tell me
that's the only way to send a link by email in IE9!

When I choose "Share" the words "Send via email" are greyed out. How can I send pages documents through email using this feature?

The Share facility in Pages works just fine with normal OS X acceptible file names and content. As was previously mentioned, Apple has chosen to make the Pages Share menu categorical headings light grey. These headings, ”Send via Email,” and “Export,” are separators for the real items that immediately follow.
I have a Pages document open in front of me. I want to send it as an e-mail attachment. I choose the Share menu, and decide that under ”Send Via Email,” that I want a PDF attachment. The only confirmation of success is that Apple Mail launches a composition window with the open Pages document attached as a PDF. If you are using a different Mail User Agent than Apple Mail, this behavior will not likely happen.
In the Pages Help menu, there is a link to the Pages Users Guide. It is a useful read.
