Send / Receive Idoc(XML) in SAP ECC 5.0

Hi Experts,
We are using SAP standard idocs to exchanges master data and Sales data between SAP and non SAP system. currently all the idocs are generated and posted as flat file structure.
There is possiblity to use idoc(XML) and HTTP service instead of standard process without XI?
All info related with this is welcome. is it possible? how?
all suggestion n helpful ans will be rewards with points.

  • Send/Receive IDOCs (XML) from/to SAP R/3 with XI-SOAP without XI!

    Dear SAP specialists,
    (BACKGROUND) We are using the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for SAP 1.0, developed on top of the SAP DCOM Connector (we are using the version 6.20 Patch Nr. 177), with Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 SP1 in order to send and receive IDOC via the tRFC transport protocol. We are using the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for SAP 1.0 since February 2002, and today we are exchanging more than 25,000 IDOC/day with this architecture.
    When we migrate our SAP R/3 system to the version 4.7 with WAS 6.20, I was very enthusiastic about the possibility of sending the IDOC in XML via the standard HTTP transport protocol, because it would considerably simplify my architecture, i.e. no need of any (expensive) adapter any more! But, I had to realise that the quality of service exactly once will not be there anymore with HTTP as it exists with tRFC. Then, we carry on using the tRFC transport protocol with the adapter.
    (QUESTION) But recently, I followed the SAP Course TBIT40 XI Foundations and I learn that:
    1.     On one hand, the XI-SOAP protocol supports the quality of service exactly once by the usage of a message GUID within the XI-SOAP envelope;
    2.     On the other hand, all mySAP solutions using WAS 6.20 (or higher) carry a “small” Integration Engine (with XI-SOAP as the “native” transport protocol).
    Then, my question is: << Is it possible to exchange IDOC (XML) directly with an SAP R/3 4.7 (WAS 6.20) via the XI-SOAP transport protocol using the “small” Integration Engine embedded into it, with the quality of service exactly once? >>
    Many thanks in advance and best regards,
    Patrice Krakow

  • Send/receive IDOCs to SOLMAN system using AS2 protocol!

    Hi All,
    I want to send/receive IDOC file to/from web based SOLMAN system. Currently I'm using FTP server to send/receive IDOC file.
    As of now the current process is to send the IDOCs from ECC to FTP server and from FTP to third party and vice-versa. But due to some constraints, I'm bound to use web based SOLMAN system. Please, can you let me know how to send/receive IDOC files to SOLMAN. Is there standrad FM/method to connect to SOLMAN from ECC as in case of FTP we have FM 'FTP_CONNECT'. Heard that same functionality in case of SOLMAN can be achieved  through AS2 protocol.
    Kindly help.
    Thanks.

  • Receiving IDocs from non-SAP system ...

    Hello guys,
    I have problem with implementing IDoc-XI-IDoc scenario. The sender system is a subsystem (non-SAP system) sending IDocs but XI is not able to receive them. I thing the IDoc metadata can not be found.
    Logical system name of the sender is IF6020DEV. I registered the system in SLD. In Integration Directory I imported the Bussines System IF6020DEV to my scenario and I created communication channel of type Sender IDoc Adapter in it.
    In IDX2 I created new port called IF6020DEV and I copied needed metadata into the port. But it doesn't work. Probably I don't do it right because I'm beginner with SAP XI.
    Could you give me any advice how to configure XI for receiving IDocs from non-SAP system?
    Thank you in advance!
    Regards
    Zbynek

    Thank you very much. The issue described in refered discussion is almost same issue what I'm solving. Unfortunetally the described solution dosn't work for me.
    The sender system still returns following error. I know you probably won't understand it because you don't know the subsystem, but maybe you could get some idea what is wrong.

  • How to send a IDOC-XML to a non-sap system

    Hai Frnds,
                      Can you give me a hint , if i would like to Convert a IDOC into xml and need to send it to a Non-sap system.And can i use change pointers here...
    i have have similar one but it stores in the Front End system only....
    waiting for ur replies...

    Hi Mr. Jeevan,
    And can i use change pointers here..>>>.
    i think it wont be useful.. as change pointer only replicates master datas in the target system.
    Actually u can use CHANGE POINTER in such cases where When ever changes occur in  the field values then idoc triggers automatically and send changed information via ALE to other system.
    for example:
    u r setting up ALE for material master.
    suppose u change material description in one side then change pointers triggers idoc and generate idoc with changed description and send to other end.
    main use of change pointers is to track changes and send to other end if there is any changes.
    i will suiggest u to follow this....

  • Real time job doesn't receive automatically changes in SAP ECC 6

    Hi Experts,
    <br/>
    <br/>I'm trying to (using Data Integrator) automatically retrieve data from SAP ECC and store it in a local database table. I followed the steps written in this article: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/Receiving+IDOCs. I'm modifying some records in the Cost Center Master Data (CSKS) and using COSMAS01 as the IDOC in which I'm trying to send the information.
    <br/>
    <br/>All seems to be OK, since I manually sent a Cost Center data row using the /nbd16 transaction, SAP ECC displayed a message telling that an IDOC had been generated. Also, when I checked the IDOC status in BD87 it had status 03, meaning that it had been sent correctly.
    <br/>
    <br/>In Data Services when I clicked on 'View Data' in the local database table that I put in the dataflow I could see the rows that I manually sent from the ECC. However, after truncating the local table, it bothered me that when I tried to send manually a second IDOC with another row from the Cost Center Master Data table, my real-time job didn't receive the request and consequently didn't insert the desired rows. I didn't change anything in the configuration, so my first question to any of you is that if you know what could it be that causes my real-time job to not receive the request from ECC?. I tried making a third try, but at my company they had to shut down the ECC server, so it's going to be a while before I make another try.
    <br/>
    <br/>Now, the REAL question of this post is that after I sent the first IDOC successfully (and before sending manually the second one mentioned earlier), I changed a record in the CSKS table directly in the ECC, hoping that it would automatically generate an COSMAS01 IDOC and send all the data in the table to the Data Integrator. This didn't happen and no IDOC was generated, so do any of you know why the automatic change didn't trigger the sending of the IDOC with the data?
    <br/>
    <br/>As I said before, I made the configuration in ECC and DI following the steps in the link written at the start of the post, and it was tested OK by successfully sending a COSMAS01 IDOC once, manually using bd16.
    <br/>
    <br/>In advance I thank you all for your cooperation. This is my first thread in the SDN forum so also please excuse any mistakes in my english.
    <br/>
    <br/>Best regards...

    You do not need to schedule this job every 10 min.  Why?
    If we can't schedule this job every 10 mints how can I able to retrive the delta records into Queue(RSA7)
    What is your advice I mean how to schedule in order to get the delta?
    Thanks

  • Problems while sending/receiving IDOCs

    Hi,
        I am trying to store IDOC data to MS access database. I created a scenario and able to activate that successfully, but after sending IDOC from SAP, in SXMB_MONI I can see status as "Message Processed succesfully" flag, and acknowledgement status as "Still awaiting acknowledgement" and data is not stored in database. Anybody having any idea about this problem.
             Another problem what I am facing is, when sending an XML file from a file server to SAP(through XI), I am getting status as " Scheduled for outbound processing". Receiver determination, Interface determination, Sender & receiver agreements all are present and correct. Any help?

    Hi,
    Check what chris has said....Also in SXMB_MONI check the status of the message on the outbound side(by scrolling to the right)...This will say whether it has been transferred to the Adapter Engine....
    For the second problem, pls check whether all your queues are registered. All queues can be registed from transaction SXMB_ADM...then doublwe click on "Manage Queues"...and choose the register queues and execute...
    Thanks,
    Renjith

  • SAP PI FTP sender adapter not working with SAP ECC over Itanium

    Hi,
    We have been running normally SAP PI 7.0 SP14 with no issue for a while.
    We are now in the process of migrate the SAP ECC system from PA risc to IA platform. We are performing some tests between SAP PI and SAP ECC to check that the platform migration is not affecting us in any way and we have found that FTP adapter sender is not working anymore (receiver is working as usual).
    We place some files in the new ECC system and when PI goes to retreive the files it is like it can not read anything. It gives no error but it does not pick any file. This is not happening with the old platform.
    Does anyone have any idea?
    Thanks a lot for your help
    Diana

    Hi,
    I am using FTP connection and for the receiver it is working fine.
    Thanks

  • IDOC types in SAP ECC

    Hi Gurus,
    1) 3rd party->PI->SAPECC
    We have a requirement that the tenant refunds coming from 3rd party system should be sent to SAP ECC system.
    To send this messgae to SAP ECC, is there any separate idoc format for this tenant refunds.
    Should I use any FICO or any other standard module to post these files to SAP ECC.
    2)SAPECC->PI->3rd party
    Also is there any IDOC type for the direct debit details and customer payments or should i run the F110 transaction to execute the customer payments and to send the paymnet files to PI.
    Coould you please advise.
    Thanks,
    Jay.

    If you have fair understanding about ECC then you can easily identify which IDoc to use or any extension required for existing IDoc.
    otherwise better to talk with ABAP/Functional team they will help you.

  • Where to place crossdomain.xml in SAP ECC IDES?

    Hi,
    I have a flex application which uses webservices generated in SAP IDES system. This flex app is stored in portal server. Since the physical servers are involved, I get a security error message, which says, "Security error accessing url". I browsed through the net and found that, we have to place a crossdomain.xml file in the web root folder of the server from where we are fetching the data. In my case, it would be SAP IDES system.
    I wanted to know where do I place this xml file in IDES? What would be it's location and how can I generate a URL to access this xml file?
    Please let me know about this, if anyone has done this before.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Warm regards,
    Deepak

    Hi Durairaj,
    As mentioned in that thread, I created a BSP application in the server and loaded crossdomain.xml. It was accessible from the browser too.
    This is the xml code which is there in crossdomain:
    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    <cross-domain-policy>
      <allow-access-from domain="*" />
      <site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="all" />
      <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*" />
      </cross-domain-policy>
    But this did not solve my purpose
    I have my flex application in a server, servera.abc.com and I am using the webservices of another server, serverb.abc.com
    I uploaded the crossdomain.xml in serverb.abc.com, in the following path through a BSP application:
    http://serverb.abc.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/zroot/crossdomain.xml
    But I still get the 'security accessing url' message in flex. It doesn't load the wsdl.
    I'm also using this piece of code in initialize event of the application in flex:
                           private function initSecurity():void{
                        Security.allowDomain("*");
                        Security.loadPolicyFile("http://serverb.abc.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/zroot/crossdomain.xml");
                        Alert.show("crossdomain xml loaded....");
    Where am I going wrong here?

  • SAP IDOC to IDOC.xml

    Hello All,
    I have a scenario where I need to pass IDOC.xml from SAP to Legacy system: we need to pass Customer Master and Material Master to the same server.. I am using same File CC to send the IDOC.xml file to the location....
    Is it possible to send the name of the file with respec to IDOC type? Suppose if MATERIAL is sending then Material.xml and if Customer then Customer.xml
    How can I achieve it?? I am not using any ESA objects as I am just passing message from SAP IDOC to Legacy IDOC.xml.
    Thanks
    Rajeev

    Hi,
    I configured what you mentioend... But I am getting test.xml as I used a dummy interface name and name space as I didnt used any ESA (IR) objects.... I am jsut passing the ECC IDOC.xml to IDOC.xml to legacy applicaiton...
    MATMAS01 released from ECC to sap pi.... SAP PI will pass this IDOC to Legacy applicaiton as MATMAS01.xml
    DEBMAS01 released from ECC to sap pi.... SAP PI will pass this IDOC to Legacy applicaiton as DEDMAS01.xml
    As I am not using any transformations and the format target system needed is idoc.xml .. I am using ID objects to forward the IDOC.xml files..
    Please let me know is there any way to dynamically change the file name?
    Thanks
