Send to ERP option in Primavera Web Access

Dear All,
Even the user is authorized to send data to ERP, Send to ERP option is disabled in primavera web access. Any suggestion please share with me.

A couple of things to note:
1.) The web install is separate from the client.
2.) An application server (WebSphere or Weblogic) must be setup and configured for the web to be deployed.
If you simply ran a stand-alone P6v7 install this will not install the web portion.
While I would not necessarily advise running P6v7-Web against a stand-alone database for production use, it is certainly possible (I have done this myself for testing). First thing you'll want to look at it is "Installing P6 Web Access" page 139 / 452 in the admin guide.

It is not available in the Web version, you can contact Oracle to put in an enhancement request.

Issue in See All options in Outlook Web Access (Exchange 2010)

Hi Ashraf,
According to your description, I suggest you check the
RoleAssignmentPolicy property of user. If the RoleAssignmentPolicy property is empty, this error can be caused.
Run the following command to view the RoleAssignmentPolicy property:
Get-Mailbox <identity> | fl Name,RoleAssignmentPolicy

Cannot press SEND / NEW MAIL button in MS Outlook Web Access

I am completely upset after updating the iphone os 4.1 because i cannot simply send email using the MS outlook web access. FYI I can still view the email but cannot send. my company doesnt allow me to use the POP (similar to yahoo) for security reason and hence i must need to use the webmail (via internet).
moreover, my wife just bought another one which is still under 4.01 but her phone can do. what's the problem? can i convert back to 4.01 or my phone has problem? pls help. thanks!

Solution (found by searching forum for "Safari Crashes"):
Settings > Safari > Autofill > Names & Passwords "Set to OFF".
Then choose "Continue" the next time. You've lost your password fill-in but at least you can log in.

Need Help in the installation of p6 v7 web access on weblogic

i have a problem and i need help .. when i installed the Web Access on web-logic the state of the deployed application is failed i've installed it several times and the state is still failed
i checked the configuration on page 160 on the admin guide and i did everything as stated in the guide
i don't know what is the problem can any body help me

I am not able to understand anything from the error message which you have pasted. But I have successfully deployed the primavera web access for company.
I have written down the steps properly using some images also for my future reference in a M.S. Word document.

Outlook Web App - What do I need to configure in order to get my Exchange account to work with the OWA app on my iPhone? Is Office 360 required on the server that hosts Outlook Web App in our organisation? When I configure the settings and

New option to open custom Excel content type in Excel Web Access

Hi,
This question is specifically for Sharepoint Online if that affects the possible solution.
I would like a custom content type with Excel template to open up in Excel Web Access when a library's New>"My Content Type" option is chosen. I have configured the content type (deriving from "Document"), pointed it to the spreadsheet
template I've uploaded, added the content type to the library and set the library to "Open documents in the browser".
However when I choose the new option for the content type it always opens it in the Excel desktop client. If I then save the document to the library, then it does view and edit in Excel Web App after that.
Is there any way for the initial "New" Excel document to start editing in Excel Web App?

Make sure Office 2011 is fully updated. It shouldn't have a problem opening those documents.
When I open a 97 - 2004 workbook, it states that it needs to be converted. That may be what is crashing on your copy of Office.
Have you tried creating a new account and see if you can open them there.

Primavera P6 Web access

I have installed primavera P6 web access, so the question is what is:
1- what is the next steps to connect to the database.
Note: the weblogic has been installed, and only run weblogic admin console whenever I run WEBLOGIC SERVER from ORACLE WEBELOGIC

Hi Laszlo,
the admin users has the right license attached and the other users haven't a license. Just go into the PM-Client under Administration/Users and then the license tab.
Just give the the users who should access the primaveraweb the appropiate license like Project Management, Resource Management, Portfolio Management and they will be able to access the primaveraweb.

Hi Alaa,
Sounds like you need to be in the 'Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management' forum... this is for the old Product name Prosight not P6.
From my understanding, Oracle Primavera PPM provides and 'Enterprise' version (which includes the Web services and Timesheets) and a 'Professional' version that provides upto 100,000 activites in each project, with not web services or timesheet tools, this may have been what you have purchased/recieved/installed.
Best you check with your sales contact and confirm with them that you need the Enterprise version.
Or if you have the enterprise version, you can download the required tools from the Orcle website.

I cant send/recieve email by wi-fi, but I have Web Access by Safari.

I have a Iphone 4.
I desable the Data Package from my Cel Phone.
I am using just WI-FI connection.
My Web access is perfect using Safari, iMessage and Whatsapp...but, I cant send/recieved my YAHOO mails using just Wi-Fi connection.
What could be happining?

It could be possible the email client you have does not work on that wi-fi network. In other words, if it is not connected to their network, you cannot send, however you should have no trouble receiving. I suggest deleting the accounts from the phone and re-entering them. Do it while you are connected to wi-fi which will give it the chance to verify. If it verifies, you should have no trouble.

I teach at an online university. We use Office Web Access at the University. Using OWA, Internet Explorer offers me options (like searching old emails) that MF doesn't provide. Why is this?

To repeat, MF seems to offer fewer options at this university when I use Office Web Access.

I talked with the team about this on Friday last week, I'm sorry we haven't gotten back to you sooner.
Our initial recommendation would be to recompile your application to use HTMLLoader. While StageWebView uses the OS web rendering engine, the HTML control still uses the built in webkit. However, I realize that you might not have access to the original code, be unable to distribute an update, etc.
Our intent with this change was to have StageWebView use a light weight interface to the OS rendering engine. We wanted you to have the best performance possible with the most up to date security. There were other issues we were also trying to tackle, such as decarbonizing on Mac that also influenced our decision.
All that said, we get where you are coming from, especially with Windows. I don't think it would be unreasonable to have an api that would allow you to choose if you want StageWebView to use the internal webkit or the OS version. Maybe the default would be to use the internal webkit so that older apps aren't impacted. This would be a great bug report / feature request. Getting comments and votes from other developers would also allow us insight into who is using this feature and has been effected by our changes.
If you'd like to enter a bug, please let me know the bug number and I'll take it to the team for review.

For email you you need an Internet connection and that requires either wifi or cellular data.

Oracle Primavera Cost manager v 6.2 web access issue

One other thing to check is that iptables on your Oracle VM Manager box/vm is not blocking the Oracle VM Manager UI, to test type /sbin/iptables status, if iptables running turn it off by typing /sbin/iptables stop.
