Send to Speedgrade dpx workflow only converts about half of the timeline

I am using RED footage (and some QT stock) and sending this footage from Premiere CC to Speedgrade using dpx files.
(I can't use EDL because of multiple resizes/reframes throughout the project, so please don't consider that as an option)
I have split the 100 minute project into 5 20-minute reels, each with its own Premiere sequence.
When I send a sequence, the Speedgrade file is created as well as the folder structure for the dpx's. This all seems perfect.
The problem is that Premiere does not fill all of the dpx folders. It leaves about half of them empty and skips to other folders.
This seems random and I cannot see any pattern as to what would cause this. The error is repeatable in that each export of a given sequence yields the same empty folders.
The Premiere sequences play just fine in Premiere.
Premier gives no errors when exporting. It appears to finish successfully, but just skips certain areas.
In Premiere I've tried batch disabling/enabling clips as well as duplicating sequences and cutting/pasting the clips into the duplicate sequence.
Any help would be apprecited - the lack of options is frustrating.

Hello Epasc, I am also a newbie to speedgrade, and honestly I am still trying to see if it is actually 100% usable for my needs. (very simple ones..)
anyway what is happening to you happened also to me in a little different way, the clips that were missing where at the end of the timeline and not in the middle.
We then found out that it was a problem with the Hard Disk not having enough GB available for all the dpx files that Speedgrade needed to create to complete the task. ( for a 9 minutes shortmovie shot on 5dm2 it created a 60gb folder with the DPX inside it , so if you're working with R3D material, it must be way more than that )
if your hard disk has already a lot of GB available, then this is not your case.
check it out. if it is already full ( I am talking about the Hard Disk containing the DPX and SG project folder ) that may be the problem

I recently purchased a Creative Zen Nano GB MP3 player. I hooked it up, and tried to transfer mp3's to the player. It allowed me to transfer 550 megs of music, then said the dri've was full. When I clicked on "Removable Disk" under "My Computer", the little graph on the left side of the window it said I had 430 megs of free space, and the picture of a circle representing the disk space also showed it as only a little more than half full. I tried to drag-n-drop more files, only to get the small window saying the dri've was full again. I returned it to the store and exchanged it for an identical player, and I am getting the same problem. Anyone know what the problem may be?

Your previous purchases are saved on iCloud even if you bought them on another computer. If you can't find them on your current computer, you might need to unhide them. Go to iTunes preferences, and click on Store Preferences. Then click the box for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Then click on OK, and everything you've ever bought from iTunes on that Apple ID will show up in your library. You will need to download them from iCloud first before you can synch them to your iPod Classic. To do this, click on the little cloud with the arrow in it next to your song, and it will download to your computer. When you have the music that you want downloaded, plug in your iPod and synch away. Hope this helps!

I can not get imac w/Snow Leopard's address book to sync with ipad 1correctly? I only get about half the contacts?

I have tried repeatedly to get my address book on my imac w/ snow leopard to sync to my ipad 1 correctly and have failed every time. I only get about 1/3 the number of contacts and they don't all even correlate with the ones on the imac. Like one will have full middle name and the other only the initial. I don't know where itunes is getting these contacts but doesn't match those in my address book. I keep telling itunes to replace the contacts on the ipad with those on my mac but it doesnt work. Can't do it with icloud cause snow leopard doesn't support, it still wants to use the non existant mobile me format. Hope someone can help. I added the all amnually once before but they screwed up when I sync each time.

You are correct in that whenever you type a series of letters, Address Book (as it always has) finds every single thing with that combination of letters - Names, businesses, adjectives, people's dogs' names, letters in product serial numbers, etc. This is useful for finding a subject on the Web, or finding all documents related to 'iPhoto' on your Mac, etc., but not useful, quick or convenient when trying to find one person to call in your Address Book (which is what people use Address Book for).
What is DIFFERENT in the Snow Leopard version, is that the ability to type one letter to instantly go to last names with that letter has been removed. Previously, you could easily find 'Bill Tilman' in one second by simply typing 'T'. Now you get every word that starts with T and all the words in the card that have a T in them. If you type out a full name like 'Bill', it finds every person named Bill. No one would ever want to find all their contacts named Bill to call them. You could type out the full last name 'Tilman', but there again you are forced to type out a complete name to do a search. It would actually be quicker to scroll down and find it manually. The ability to type a single letter to find the last name (or business name) of a contact you needed to call, was much quicker and easier than having to type out the entire name.

If an app freezes on you - you can try force quitting the app.
Force quit the app by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears. Let go of the sleep button and then hold down on the home button until the app quits. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I assume there is more than ample space remaining on your iPod to hold all the videos? Are you getting any error messages during the sync process?
Do all of these videos play okay in iTunes? Is the sync only checked songs and videos option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab?
What other setting do you have enabled from under the iPod's video configuration tab in iTunes?

Printed webpage only shows about 20% of the page, centered

Never had a problem, suddenly can't print a webpage. Instead of everything on the page, it only prints about 20% of the horizontal line, starting from left margin; the printed part is centered on the paper. Also, the amount that is printed spans five pages, when normally I could print the webpage on a single sheet. Maybe the best description is that the printed appearance looks as if the printer thinks the paper is 2.5 x 4 inches. Have checked paper size, margins, etc.

Did a printer reset and that fixed the problem. Got so focused on checking all my settings I forgot about that universal antidote! Thanks for your prompt and helpful reply.

Cloud apps are only available via subscription via a Cloud plan.
If you need 3 or more apps then a Cloud Complete membership is the way to go.

Brand new laserjet pro 400 only prints about 1" down the left side of the page

I just unboxed a brand new Laserjet Pro 400 for a teacher, and upon running a test print, the printer only prints about 1" of the text down the left side of the page. The text fades to white, and the entire remainder of the page is blank! I re-seated the toner cardtridges, ran the cleaning program, and am still getting the same results! Any suggestions? A scan of the page is attached. It came out this way after each solution that I tried!

Further to my question, when I plug in and select my iPad 2 I don't have the same problem. I have restored the settings on my iPod Touch and updated both iTunes and iPod Touch software and restarted my iPod touch. Nothing has made any difference.

Hi, I have loaded an AVI DV file of 9GB (45 minutes) in Premiere Pro CS6 but it shows only 2:50 minutes in the timeline. I have loaded much longer files in my timeline and edited it without any problems. I also tried to decode the AVI file but this lowered the quality too much. Can anybody tell me how to solve this problem?
