Hi HK,
I see that there are two keyfield names in your content conversion. Are they for different nodes?
" Keyfiled names: NumFacture,Constant "
Yes...those are coming from two different nodes like one from Header and another one from Items.
And also the you have provided key field value as 05 and what about the other key field?
Another key field value have given 43
one more thing Key filed value must be always constant right?
Thanks,

  • Empty file handling in Receiver File adapter (FCC - Premature end of file)

    Hi
My interface is Flat file to Flat File interface with file content conversion which is working fine in SAP PI 7.1 EHP1.
If I want to process the empty file from sender system, PI should place the same empty file in the receiver FTP Location as per my requirement.
I am facing the below error message when PI tries to place the empty file.
Message processing failed. Cause: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.
But if I am not using FCC, I am able to get the empty file at the receiver end.
Please suggest on this, If I am using FCC in the receiver side.
    Thanks
    Gabriel

    Hi Gabriel,
You can write a simple script to copy a file from source folder to target in case the fiel size is ZERO bytes. The script will not copy the file if the filesize is more than zero bytes, This will be processed normally by PI server. You can call the script from sender communication channel parameter : "RUN OS command before message processing". Could you please specify the Operating System (OS) you are using in your PI server.

  • FCC file channel cannot process the empty file

    Hi,
My requirement is like that a msg mapping getting two files from different sources and combining into one file and send to the receiver. There is a possibility that any one of the file can be empty.. now  problem is how to process the empty file in FCC file channel. When we trying to process the msg we are getting the error msg like "file end of exception". we already check the option empty file in file comm channel....under processing tab. But no use.Though we achieved through a module in sender channel. i want to know how to achieve this through simple content conversion by the FCC channel.
In Content conversion. Record----> item,.. here what is mean ''? 0 to outbound or 1 to outbound?
    Regards
    Balaji

    Hi Balaji,
here what is mean ''? 0 to outbound or 1 to outbound*
    means 0 to unbounded.
Let me remind u ... the requirement cannot be achived in this way.. if file is empty.
I hope u already checked the option..
    process empty files.
I think u can handle this by, using a adapter module, in which..
if file size(ASMA) is zero.. create a empty message and send it
    to the PI.

  • FILE receive adapter deleted the empty file --Biztalk

    Hi Team
Using scheduled task job, I put an xml file to Biztalk receive location path which has parameters(we can say as trigger file to output some results) and cannot be empty any time....But somehow not always...at times Biztalk receive adapter assumes it as an
empty file and delete it....and in result the required important output file is not generated in the scheduled windows....Not sure why sometimes it assumes as empty file though it has values...
kindly can anyone help me with suggestions/what could be the root cause for such strange behavior........
    Regards

    Hey!
As Morten explains below it looks like the file may not be locked, you often get this problems when Reading files from a *nix share since the *nix platform doesn't Lock the files like a Windows share (NTFS). If you are reading this from a *nix share I recommend
using the FTP adapter rather then the FILE Adapter (there are some workarounds, but I would advice you to use the method I suggested).
Be aware that communicating with *nix shares over FILE is not supported (shoot me if I'm not correct).

  • Downloading files - can I block the empty file from appearing at all? I'm not talking about the .part file, but the one that disappears later anyways.

Let's say I'm downloading several files, for each file that I'm downloading two new files appear in my download folder. For 'vol1.rar' I have ''an empty'' 'vol1.rar' and a 'vol1.rar.part' file, same for 'vol2.rar', 'vol3.rar', etc.
I would like to block this empty 'vol1.rar' file from appearing at all - it disappears after the download is finished anyway, and the .part file gets renamed with the actual name.
I'm downloading files to my desktop, from where I move them to the folders I want them in - having this disappearing 2nd file messes up the order I download the files in - if I add a new file after one of the files I was downloading has finished, the file be placed in the empty spot that the finished file has created, making it harder for me to move to the correct folder.
A lot of people have asked if it was possible to turn off the .part file, but I haven't seen a single thread about the empty file instead.
I know this file isn't necessary, because I moved it to another folder/deleted it many times before the download was finished and the real file was still fine.
So, any ideas as to how to block this file?

I don't believe there is any way to prevent file downloading if you allow internet access at all. as Király says, whatever they download and install will be limited to the guest account and will go poof on the logout.
however you can disable CD/DVD and external drives access. some of it can be done by enabling parental controls on the guest account. for more options you can install server admin tools
    http://support.apple.com/downloads/ServerAdmin_Tools_105
and use workgroup manager to set further restrictions on the guest account.
P.S. workgroup manager can also forbid guest to mount disk images which will effectively make it impossible to install any programs at all even in the guest account.

  • My project file opens up in an empty file, where are my clips titles sound effects that were there? premiere pro cc

i had dozens of clips, a few titles and a couple mp3 files..... the timeline layers are there, with no files, and my project file is empty......
all of my media sources are connected to the computer.....
will i need to start over?
I am using a 30 day free premiere pro cc download, it that the problem? I am connected to the internet.....

    Hi,
As long as you saved the changes in your project, you should be able to see it there. A few times i have seen a similar issue happen where Premiere would not open the sequence you were working on the last time. Make sure you have the right sequence open. You can search for the right sequence in the Project Bin.
Using the trial version is not the problem.

  • Deleted files show as ghost or empty files

I've been clearing out a ton of old files from my MBP and an external Maxtor HD. For some I've used Spring Cleaning and for others I've used Find and deleted from the results.
My problem now is that I search and find literally thousands of titles of deleted files. The icons show as a square formed by dotted lines. If I ask for Info, the pane shows Read Only but appears to contain no data. If I ask to open the enclosing folder, nothing happens.
    Would appreciate any help I can get -- very difficult to search among all these titles even though they don't seem to be affecting performance in any other way. ;-}

I have seen those "ghost" files a time or two. I don't remember the circumstances, but my guess is there is a file system inconsistency. Try booting from your install disk, then dismiss the install window and go to the menu bar, select Disk Utility and then repair your startup disk. If it finds errors, run it again until it comes up with a completely error free run. You can run Disk Utility from the startup drive on the external disk, but to fix the startup drive itself you need to boot from the install disk. If there are errors it can't repair you may have to invest in a copy of DiskWarrior. After the disks' file systems have been repaired you might try having Spotlight re-index the drives: add the drive to the Privacy pane (System Prefs->Spotlight), wait a bit, then remove it.

  • Thunderbird sending pdf attachment problem – 'empty file' from mac to mac & PC

    OSX 10.9.5 with TB 31.6
This problem has just started happening when sending PDFs to clients at different location who are using a mixture of email systems on Mac and PCs (different PDFs over the last week to differetent people but not everyone). The file arrives but it says 'empty file'. I have tried sending the same PDF though gmail and that arrives with no problem.
I can see this is a reoccuring problem with older TB releases but there doesn't seem to be a solution.
    Can anyone help?

I've now asked 2 people who have received PDFs either as "message saying that they are corrupted" ...
"Hi Martin. Many thanks - the files sent via MailBigFile have all opened up OK. I deliberately use a Mac to try and avoid viruses! No one else in the

    and
"I haven’t got anti-virus software. The third one you sent was openable (the one from from gmail). – Tim" ... this one said "empty file" also on a Mac.

  • Problem in Archiving File From FTP Server to XI File Server Using FCC

    Hi,
The scenario is file to IDOc. XI has to read the input file from client FTP server and archive it to XI local file server. Archiving on XI server is working fine without FCC (for xml files). But with FCC, the sender FTP adapter is archiving empty files (0 kb files).
I've checked SXMB_MONI, even there I can see the file data and the IDoc is getting posted with proper data. But, the archived file is empty. Not sure about the problem.
    Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
File adapter has the functionality which support the empty file handling.
    Handling of Empty Files
Specify how empty files (length 0 bytes) are to be handled.
    ○ Do Not Create Message
No XI messages are created from empty files.
The files are processed according to the selected Processing Mode.
For example, if the processing mode is Delete, empty files are deleted in the source directory.

It is saying that you are not using the fieldSeparator parqameter.
have you provided the field separator parameter? if not then give like below
order_row.fieldSeparator : ,  (give what ever the separater you are using)
    or
order_row.fieldSeparator : 10,5,...  (if you are using fixed length)

  • How to Handle Empty Files

    Hi Experts,
I am doing File to File Scenario.
If my Sender systems file is Empty , that means there is no Records in the File .
How to Handle Empty Files ??????????
I want to know For both Sender and As wel as Receiver Adapters
    Please Let me know..
    Regards
    Khanna

See if u are having a sender file adapter and the file is empty u can tell the if it has to 'Process the empty file' or 'Skip the empty file processing'.
Similarly if you have a message to going to your Receiver file adapter and the message is empty then you can decide still if you want to create a 'File with empty records' or skip creating the same.

  • Process 0kb empty file and deliver to target directory

    Hello Experts,
We had a requirements to process an empty file handling and send it to the receiver/target directory. We had configured to "Process Empty File" Handling and “Write Empty File. The 0KB file polling successfully and archived to the directory with empty payload, but the message output was never created/sent to the target directory. In smxi_moni error message displayed:

Since this is an empty file, there are no mappings involved.  Is there a way to that we could check for 0kb file? If it is empty file, we want to pass/place the empty file to the target directory and if it is not empty, we want the message to process in the standard way.

    Hi David,
"Since this is an empty file, there are no mappings involved. "
do you mean you didnt do the mapping at all cos it is empty file ?
though it is empty file still you need to do the mapping as usually, but when you check the option process the empty file both in sender and receiver adapter ,then it will process even an empty file comes.if you dont check these options and you get an empty file during the process then the mapping will fail.
in real time you don't know which one is empty file right, but her you know cos you are placing empty file.
I think you got to do all the steps you do in eneral for a scenario and top on that you have to check process empty file in both sender and receiver adapters, but you may not see the payload in SXMB_MONI.
but search in SDn you get lot stuff.

  • Empty file to process in customer J2EE adapter module

    Hi All,
if i give an empty text file to a sender communication channel, then no message is generated by XI.
i want to generate a dummy XML if empty file is given.
so is it possible to make a customer-specific J2EE adapter module - then deploy it - then if in sender comm channel this adapter module is written before SAPAdapter module, then should XI generate a dummy XML for this empty file.
i am asking this because i developed a J2EE adapter module, then deployed it, then tried to invoke it  from sender comm channel but this J2EE adapter module is not getting invoked - this i can tell because i have written the following lines only in Java class process method:
    <i>Message msg_audit = (Message)inputModuleData.getPrincipalData();
    AuditMessageKey amk = new AuditMessageKey(msg_audit.getMessageId(),AuditDirection.OUTBOUND);
    Audit.addAuditLogEntry(amk, AuditLogStatus.SUCCESS,"FileCheck: Module called");
                                                 return inputModuleData;</i>
but still in the audit log only 3 messages of entire file content converted to XML format, empty doc so no sending of message and deleting of empty file are coming.
