This Blog explains the RFC to WEBSERVICE scenario.
Configure your scenario like this except making the changes to the sender as IDoc instead of RFC.

  • Sending and receiving SOAP over JMS in XI

    Hai All,
I am working on a scenario in which I have to send a SOAP message over JMS adapter to XI and receive again the SOAP message over the JMS adapter.
    Here my questions are:
1.How can I configure the JMS adapter to get the SOAP messages into XI.
    Thanks in Advance
    Srikanth

    Hi,
    1. Get the WSDL of the soap message and send it as a payload to the JMS adapter including the SOAP envelope.
    OR
    2. You can create the structer of teh SOAP body and while sending it and receiving it you can use either XSLT or JAVA or ABAP mapping to add and remove the SOAP envelope. So you can send/receive them as a payload to the JMS adapter

  • PI 7.1 Sender Interface and Receiver Interface  gets interchanged

    Hi All,
    I m facing a strange problem in PI 7.1
For many of my scenarios, the Sender Interface, sender namespace and receiver Interface, receiver namespace  information gets interchanged and displayed incorrectly.
    But sometimes its working fine.
When we analysed the Log messages, found that, after xml validation step, the sender and reciever interface gets interchanged.
    Any idea why this happens?
    How to rectify this error?

    Aarthi,
Please check your message interfaces once again. Sender is outbound and Receiver is inbound.
Also please check your receiver determination.

  • Sender DEBIT and receiver DEBIT

    Dear all,
I notice in settlement, there are 2 button : sender and receiver. Now, what confused me is why both also called sender debit and receiver debit?
    Why both also DEBIT?
    Please advise me.
    Thanks

    Dear All,
I see mostly it is like that where sender debit and receiver debit. If you go into KO88 previous settlement, you will get this.
I read in forum also it is explaining in debit.
You assign the debit cost element groups to a settlement cost element.
You settle by cost element - that is, the debit cost element is the settlement cost element.
so i would like to know why the title is sender debit and receiver debit. why both debit.
    thanks

  • Regarding Sender query and receiver query

    Hi Masters
I have one sender query and receiver query. Both queries contain G/L account.
First I got sender query report, in this report I drill down one free charactteristics field to get correponding field sales document in receiver report.
Is it mandatory which field i drill down in sender report should be in receiver report?
    Could you please help ?
    Thanks in Advance
    Raja.S

I would rewrite the first one to:
    Select t.id_entity,t.id_trade_ref,p.am_stock
    from trade t,posting p
    where t.id_trade_ref = '5V973781B'
    and p.id_trade_ref = t.id_trade_ref
This way, you really make the join between the table.
I think the join is better because it uses less code. I do not think you will notice much performance win between one or the other, especially because it concerns only a few rows.

  • Send Task and Receive Task

In our beta test, we came upon several issues, one of them is when we create a BPMN process that consists of the following simple flow: Start -> User Task 1 -> Send Task -> User Task 2 -> Receive Task -> User Task 3 -> End
When we deploy and run the flow, it always stops at the Receive Task. But when we remove User Task 2 from the flow and redeploy and run, the process runs fine all the way to the end. I am wondering if this is a bug in BPM 11g where if you put an activity between Send Task and Receive Task, it does not work, but when you do not have a task between Send Task and Receive Task, it works fine. Can someone confirm this scenario please?
Within the Send Task and Receive Task, we are invoking a BPEL process that has a simple asynchronous service. The Send Task invokes the BPEL process, and the Receive Task has the callback to the BPEL process.
    Makes sense?
    Thanks.

What does the bpel process do? Does it work with a synchronous bpel process?
I think you should submit an SR for this since it works when there is no activity between the send/receive.

i need an application that will enable my ipad to receive calls, make calls send sms and receive sms. line2 is not available in south africa

Skype would be a possibility for phone calls, though I don't know if it's available in SA. Search the iTunes Store for "SMS" and you'll quickly see if there are any SMS apps you can try.

  • WSDL url for sender and receiver SOAP adapter

    Dear Experts,
I am working on SOAP --> SAP PI --> SAP ECC synchronous scenario. That means I have to create 2 Cc for SOAP i.e. Sender as well as Receiver adapter. I am responsible for creating the Request as well as Response structure in SAP PI. The sender application team is dependent on me to get the WSDL file.
Please provide the suggestions on the below.
    Sender SOAP adapter.
    1. I will create the WSDL from Sender Aggreement. How to get the url and what is the navigation step? Should I provide the    same url to sender application team to call the service.
    Receiver SOAP adapter:
    2. In the receiver SOAP adapter , Should I have to get the web service parameter of the sender application. As mentioned , I am creating the response structure as well. That means I can not import the WSDL from the sender application. How to get target url in the receiver SOAP Cc.
I refered to the forum SOAP SENDER - test in soapui but its not clear.

    Dear Bhaskar,
    For synchronous scenario
                                                                Request
    MS Application (SOAP)<--> SAP-PI <--
    > SAP ECC.
                                                                                    Response
I am creating the Request as well as Response structure in SAP-PI and its agrreement for both
    the ways.
So for the MS appl team, I will give the WSDL url from the sender agreement to make the request to SAP-ECC.
Now for receiving the response from SAP ECC, from where I should find the value to enter in the target url of SOAP
    receiver channel.
1.Should I take the target url value from the MS Application team?
2.How to know whether  the MS Application or SAP ECC is hosting the web service?

  • IDOC Sender Adapter and Receiver Adapter

    Hi,
Why we don't require IDOC Sender Adapter to communicate with PI and why IDOC Receiver Adapter is required to communicate with SAP ?
    Regards,
    J Augastine

    Hi,
    >>>Why we don't require IDOC Sender Adapter to communicate with PI
you're talking about sender and receiver agreements right ?
as this adapter is based on abap stack - with new functionalities of IDOC adapter
    require sender agreement
    >>>and why IDOC Receiver Adapter is required to communicate with SAP ?
as we need to put the RFC to the destination system somewhere...

  • Are sending box and receiving box IDOC same?

my sending client is Box1, receiving client is Box2, every month, we send GL balance from box1 to box2 thrugh IDOC
I compare WE82, WE30, SM59, WE20, all setting are same in BOX1 and Box2. I doubt this, in SM59, we only maintain RFC connection to Box2 in both Box1 and Box2.
Are the above correct? under what circustance, we should maintain different configuration in box1 and box2 for GL balance transmission?

    Hi anand,
in we 19 when you send the idoc, the sender port refers to the port used by R3 to send the idoc and the reciver port is the port used by XI to recive the idocs.
If you are going to use the same sender and receiver port, then where is your idoc being sent from r3 back to r3??

  • Send attachment with receiver SOAP adapter

    Dear Guru's,
We have created a scenario SAP ERP (ABAP Proxy) -> PI 7.0 -> (Webservice) OSB.
In the ABAP Proxy have we attached a file (jpg). In the SXMB_MONI we see first the file (named attach), and second the MainDocument. It seem's this is the wrong sequence.
We tried to correct this with AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean in the receiver SOAP adapeter, but it does not work.
There are blogs who tells about how to configure the parameters. We did it as follows:
    AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean swap1
    AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean swap2
    swap1:  swap.keyName = payload-name
    swap1:  swap.keyValue = attach
    swap2:  swap.keyName = payload-name
    swap2:  swap.keyValue = MainDocument
In the communication channel audit log the swap is processed succesfully, but we don't see nothing changing in the message sequence.
Can somebody please help me with this issue?
    Kind regard,
    Jeroen Jung

    Hi Stefan,
The main thing at this moment is to change the sequence of the payload and attachement. PI puts the attachement first and than the payload and in that sequence the receiver application can't deal with it.
This is a multipart related message and in the header it refers to the image (image/jpeg) first instead of the payload (application/xml).
As you can see in the first message we have used PayloadSwap Adapter module in the receiver SOAP Communication Channel to change this sequence and in the Audit Log of the SOAP CC we can see that it does SWAP functionality succesfully but the result is the same and nothing happens.
Here below you can see the result of a http snapper grabber:
    POST /EnterpriseContentManagement/ProxyServices/PS_EnterpriseContentManagement_v1 HTTP/1.0
    Accept: */*
    Host: localhost:8090
    User-Agent: SAP-Messaging-com.sap.aii.messaging/1.0505

    Content-Length: 939196
    SOAPACTION:

    content-id: payload-9A6BAB4B2FE1273DE10000000A503151 @ sap.com
    Content-Type: image/jpeg
    *********binary attachment data************
    --SAP_00e371ef-3ca3-11df-9503-001f2966194a_END
    content-id: payload-9B6BAB4B2FE1273DE10000000A503151 @ sap.com
    Content-Type: application/xml
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    *********XML Message************
    --SAP_00e371ef-3ca3-11df-9503-001f2966194a_END--
Do you have an idea how we can switch the sequence of payload and the attachment? Or why the SWAP functionality doesn't have any result?
    Kind regards,
    Danke

  • Mail sending issue and receiving sound intermittent

I have three mail accounts on the 3G iPhone if that matters.
The primary SMTP server I have setup for when using email at home on wi-fi. Set up the same as on the Mac to the ISP I connect to. Works fine sending and receiving on the iPhone.
Under other SMTP servers I have set to reflect the mobile provider I connect to when not on wi-fi.
The only way I can send mail using the mobile provider is to turn off the primary server.
The instructions on the screen say " If mail is unsuccessful using the primary server it will try the other SMTP servers in succession. Clearly not doing this as if it can't connect using the primary server it doesn't continue searching through other servers.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
In addition the sound on receiving mail is intermittent and generally doesn't work. If it does it only works the one and then only one of the three accounts. And then goes away again.
I was hoping that the 2.1 update may have fixed both of these.

  • Sender system and Receiver system

    Hi,
I have installed xi on on the server name is XI1 and there is two client 001 and 300. i have created xisuper user on 001. Pls tell me which is sender system or receiver system and xi system.
    Please give me some secnario
    Thannks

    Hi,
you can Use Either (001 or 300 )one of the client for XI Perspective.
And you can send the data through this Client in Xi to any Application
    Example:
if you want to send the data from FTP Server to SAP R/3 (100 Client)means
Here You can use either 001 or 300 client of XI as Middleware to send the data to SAP R/3
    in this case
Your sender is the FTP Server(File Adapter)--XI is the Middleware--SAP R/3(100 Client) is the Receiver

  • ALE, IDOC - need to send IDOC and create a text file

    Hi,
i need to send idoc to some other system and create a text file in that.
I want sent data to Channel Cluster.
what are the settings required for that in transactions
    BD54
    SCC4
SM59 - which connection is required
WE21 - which type of port
    WE20 - which partner
    BD64
Is there any other function modules required.
which function module is suitable like MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE.

    Hi,
    SM59 - Use TCP/IP Connection with connection type 'T'
WE20 - Partner Name can be logical system name, if it is a vendor/customer you can configure it under the respective names.

    Hi
    Receiver is FTP only.....
    SAP side is RFC.........
RFC sender will be initiating the scenario, and there is receiver is File, PI should go to file directory and take the file then send it back to RFC as response.
    Sender: RFC
    Receiver: File
    1. is this scenario with condition based routing.. so that each time outof many receiver systems it will trigger any specific system.
if above is the case then you can achive this without BPM also..
    Yes...its condition based routing...
I Used async in this scenario.....sender side configurations also done....
But when when I am triggering BAPI from SE37 I am getting an error
    Exception SYSTEM_FAILURE
Message ID: 00 Message number: 341
    Message:
    Runtime error CALL_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND has occurred
    How to Solve this????
I checked the RFC destination which i created in TCP/IP..a nd i mentioned the same in se37 RFC target system..
    Connection is Ok
Or we need to create proxy for MI and report for this?
