Sending 3B2 document manually to test B2B setup and BPEL SOA composite

I am trying to setup a new 3B2 agreement with a customer.
Can I send a 3B2 document to B2B manually,on behalf of the would be customer to test if my B2B setups work
Is there a way to do this.

Hello,
we are setting up a new system using B2B, ESB and BPEL. The development team is more experienced working with PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow and we are worried that Jdeveloper generates changes to the source files during development and that we might have problems with the version control.
Is there any best practice for setting up version control for these systems? Do we need to take anything in particular into consideration when setting up the projects?
We are using Serena Dimensions 9.1 for version control with the add-on in Jdeveloper.

I believe JDeveloper has a plugin for Dimensions.
I havent used it but to get it, go to tools (It may be help I don't have JDeveloper on this machine to confirm) check for updates.
If you select the thrid party check box - next, you will see an entry for dimentions.
Configure the connection and develop as you would any other project.

Changing a PDF with a text box, and then flatten the text box onto the underlying PDF before sending the document out.

I download PDF documents from municipalities, often and from numerous municipalities.
They have a scanned image of a form that I need to fill out,
I enter my contact info as a text box onto the form, along with other information,
but when I save the document, there seems no way to flatten the fields so that the person I send the document to has a true PDF and cannot change the document.
They could delete one of the text boxes or change the text in the box (by mistake),
which could case some major complications.
How do I flatten the document, so I can send it back to the municipalities as a PDF that cannot be changed.
I am using Acrobat X Pro, on windows XP machine

I doubt you could fix this. Generally a "garbled" file is considered unusable for copying, and that's that. If a PDF uses random mappings instead of standard ones it looks fine on screen, but text extraction is impossible.
Short of converting every page to bitmap and OCRing again.

Agreement Configuration for B2B and BPEL integration

I configured a listening channel on B2B to pick up custom xml files from a folder. I have a BPEL SOA composite that has a B2B adapter as a service to receive the custom xml files from B2B through direct integration. Since B2B has to send the xml file only to a SOA composite and not to another trading partner, how do I configure the agreement in B2B?

Thanks a lot for your responses.
This is the problem that I am facing now.
As per your suggestion, I deployed an inbound agreement that specifies that the Sender is the Other TP (EPCOD) and the Receiver is the Host TP EPCOZ). Also I left the channel for the Host TP blank in the agreement - did not select anything from the drop down.
When I drop the file into the folder specified in the internal listening channel, with the following naming convention (EPCOZ_PayableInvoice_1.0_Custom_1234.xml), the file gets picked up, but I get the following error message:
Description: Agreement not found for trading partners: FromTP EPCOZ, ToTP EPCOZ with document type PayableInvoice-1.0-OUTBOUND.
For some reason, it thinks that both the sender and the receiver are the same. If I reverse the file name as EPCOD_PayableInvoice_1.0_Custom_1234.xml, then it thinks that the From TP is EPCOZ and the To TP is EPCOD.
Any ideas? Appreciate your help.

B2B - Error While sending the document to GXS from Oracle B2B server.

When I am trying to send the document to GXS, getting the following error. This message is show in the window that pops up when you click on Reports->WireMessage->Details of the Message.
I am trying to find what is causing the issue.

Now again goto STMS> System overview>SAP SYSTEM >Create ->Virtual system- give name V<SID>
till this point your domain controller is created and virtual system is created .Next our aim is to setup STMS
again goto STMS>transport routes> change > configuration>statndard configuration ---> select second option (development and productino System ) because here your dev system will your own system and virtual system would be production system .
---> pop up will come -> give DEV - SID and Productino SID- it willl automatically create the route .
Save this and exit.
This way We can set single system landscape.

B2B setup question.

I have a requirement, where the PO reqest will come from the partner in a ftp server and B2B will pick it up from that server and send the document to BPEL for further processing. I tried to set up B2B by following the purchase order tutorial present in B2B user's guide. Here the difference is that I have setup the remote trading partner is in the same server as the host TP and using the same repository. What is happening is that after I enqueue the message(test.xml) in IP_OUT_QUEUE, it seems B2B is picking it up because I don't see that IP_OUT_QUEUE after a few minues, but it is not going to IP_IN_QUEUE. I have set my BPEL process to look into IP_IN_QUEUE.
I also don't see any b2b.log file where I can see the errors(if any).
Do I have to use some other setup?

I manually created everything present in that tutorial(because the import was giving some error) where GlobalChips is the Host partner. But what is the proper way to test it. As per the tutorial I should run the enq_ordrsp.sh . I did it and it enqueued in IP_OUT_QUEUE, but then nothing happened. Also, since the transport protocol is File, shouldn't I test by downloading the Acme_orders.xml file in the directory I mentioned in my URI?
My next question is if I can make EDIFACT tutorial work then I have another issue to sort out, which is, my document is in Rosettanet format. Somewhere in the discussion forum I saw that for my business case scenario, if I take purchase order tutorial and change the DCs to File/FTP it should work. But for the version of B2B I have File/FTP are not supported protocols for Rosettanet. Is it added later? or do I have to setup something else for getting those protocols for Rosettanet?

New Apps Tab in document definition page of B2B Console

Hi All,
I am trying to figure out a way to convert all EDI formats into a single Canonical XSD format before sending it to SOA layer. This is to avoid different SOA services for each EDI format.
Could you please let me know something about the Apps tab in document definition page of B2B Console. I am seeing an XSLT File field there. What can we use here?

If I upload standard 850 ecs file in B2B, can B2B read all custom 850 files, transalte based on standard ecs and send it to SOA layer in a single XSD(850) format?It will be supported in future release. As of now, you have two options -
1. Handle it at SOA by using XSLT transformations. Recommended.
2. You may create a generic 850 ecs which can handle all custom 850 transactions at your end though this will have some limitations and I do not recommend it personally.
And regarding Apps tab, can i create an XSLT file to convert EDI format to canonical format in B2B itself?No. B2B does not execute any XSLT to transform the messages.

The first role is "Author" , is a initial task and sends a document (composed by attach and some metainformation) to the examiner.
The second role is "Examiner" and examines the document from approve or reject.
The members of this role are "examiner1", "examiner2" and "examiner3".
In some case the Author must send a document at only one examiner ( for example "examiner2" ) ; in the Author form I insert a selectOneChose to select a single examiner.
In the BPM process how do I send a documento at only one examiner of the role "Examiner"?
Must I create a role for every single examiner ( one role for examiner1, one role for examiner2 ... and so on)?
How can I solve this problem?

Hi,
you can assign it to the whole group, but as soon as one member did review it the process can continue.
or
you setup a business rule and based on a certain condition a certain member gets the taks assigned.
