Sending a google image in body of my e-mail.

I want to send a photo from google images in an e-mail from my Apple to a receiver with Windows.
I recently got an Apple MacBook Pro after using Windows. I was able to copy and paste an image and put it into the body of the e-mail when I had the PC. Now with the Apple I am having problems using the same method. I was told to try to download the image and send it as an attachment. I did this and it worked, but the receiver of the e-mail needed to download it as a file attachment. Is there any way I can avoid this. I want the image and my message to appear without the reader needing to download an attached file. Thanks

All images are attachments; the only difference is whether or not the image is rendered in the body of the email. If your recipients are using Outlook, that program converts Rich Text emails to HTML, embedding the image in it, which can't be separated. If you sent Plain Text emails in Mail, the recipient can download the file to save it if they like, though it may not be rendered in the body of the message using Outlook or other email clients.
Those are the only two choice anyone has when sending attachments, so if your recipient is a Windows user, they need to decide whether they want to stick with Outlook and deal with it's quirks, or switch to a better email client, such as Thunderbird for Windows.

  • Re: Sending report output in the body of Email (Not as an attachment)

    Hi,
    My requirement is to send the report output in body part of the mail itself.  I am able to send the mail with the output as an attachment but requirement is it shoud be in the body part not as an attachment..
    Thanks,
    Anshuman.

    Hi Anshu,
        Can you please let me know is the ERMS configured in your system or you are sending
        the mail to the customer using Action Profiles. If you are sending the mail using a smartform
        assigned to an Action profile  then you can display that report internal table data or etc.. in
         the smartform itself so that the output data will be available in the e-mail body itself.
        Please let me know the way you are sending the e-mail if the above ones are incorrect.
    Thanks
    Arun

  • Newsletter in body of an e-mail?

    is it possible to send a newsletter in the body of an e-mail (not as an attachment) via pages?

    Odds are, you would be better creating the newsletter in HTML directly (something like PS and DreamWeaver) and using an inexpensive software program (like MaxBulk) to send the email for you.
    Email HTML is a more delicate business than regular webpages. I can't find an "import from..." option, nor an "insert text > from file" in Mail like there is in Outlook Express.

  • Low resolution of Google Image Search results in Firefox Android

    I'm new to Android, and I've noticed that Firefox brings up lower resolution Google Image search results in comparison to the same image search on Chrome for Android. When I click on an image result in Firefox it gives me the option of going through a low resolution slide show of all the image results, or clicking to see a single full size image. But that takes me out of the slide show, and then I have to backtrack to continue on with the low resolution slide show.
    Chrome allows you to see the full resolution images within a slide show, allowing you to swipe from one full res image to the next.
    Is there a way to get a slide show of the full size image results in Firefox Android without having to jump through all the hoops to see the full size images?
    So far this is the only drawback I've seen with Firefox Android. I would much rather use it vs. Chrome because of Firefox's ability to use plug ins, especially adblock plus.

    Perhaps I didn't write my post clearly enough. A Google image search on Chrome produces image results (via slideshow) of superior quality than an identical slideshow on Firefox. Your answer implies that Google sends higher resolution images to Chrome than it does to Firefox. I find that hard to believe.
    Chrome apparently renders its Google image search slideshows using full size images, while Firefox does not. Rather than providing the full size images within a slideshow, Firefox seems to use lower resolution thumbnails, then forces you to click on a "Full-size image" button for each image that you want to see clearly. I was hoping there was a way around that.
    My original question was if there was a way to increase the quality of the slideshow results in Firefox so you don't have to click on the image to open it up at full res., then backtrack to get back into the slideshow, then do the same thing all over again for each and every image you want to see clearly in full size. On Firefox you have to do all these extra steps that you don't have to do in Chrome. So, based on the answers so far I guess I guess that's just the way it is and there's no way around it.

  • Google images poor quality

    Hi there,
    I have noticed that when i serach for images in safari it comes up with a list similar to the desptop page with a grid of images, then when you select anygooles mobile interface opens for previewing. (The black interface) the pictures in there are really low resolution, grainy.
    Its really annoying and is there a way to change this?
    When i used the google app to search for images I get clear images in this preview mode. in safari it appears that the hi-resolution image is not loading for some reason?
    has any one expirence this or know a fix to this problem?
    The attached image is a screenshot of a poor resolution image in google images search preview, same image in google app is super sharp and clear.

    Google detects the browser and determines what quality image to send. Talk to Google about it.
    There is not a lot of love flowing between Google and Apple these days.

  • Sending rtf content in javamail body

    hi all,
    i am trying to send a newsletter in the body of the mail instead of an attachment.
    can anyone tell me how to acheive it.

    hi bshannon,
    first of all thanks for your reply. Let me explain you what i am trying to acheive. I have a rtf doc with me with lots of images and text. I want this to go in as body of the message and not as an attachment. Here is what i am trying..
    MimeMessage message = new MimeMessage(session);
    message.setSender(new InternetAddress(sender));
    message.setSubject(subject);
    DataSource fds = new FileDataSource("D:/Documents and Settings/karthik/Desktop/test/NewsLetter.doc");
    message.setDataHandler(new DataHandler(fds));
    here is where i am unable to understand how to put this message.setDataHandler() thing in to the body of the message as we dont have a method addBodyPart() in mimemessage object as we have in the MimeMultipart..
    message.setContent(body, "text/rtf");
    Transport.send(message);
    thanks again,
    karthik.

  • Unable to load google images properly with FF 24.0 on Android 4.1.2 on Samsung Tab 7.7.

    the correct image is not being shown, and images are being overlaid when I select an image after a Google image search. I am running the latest version of Firefox for Android (v24.0) my Gt-P6800 Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Is this a common fault/bug? I can't use FF for images as a result.

    Hi, thank you for your reply, but this is one on the first things I tried. With further investigation, I am now experiencing the same problem with Opera mobile. However, I don't get the problem with the built in web browser or chrome. I am up to date with Android for my tablet, and I have the latest version of Firefox. This means that I am on the verge of dispensing with Firefox as it's virtually unusable for Google images.

    You can try disabling the "AVG Safe Search" extension (if you have it.)
    1. Go to 'Tools'<br>
    2. Click 'Addons'<br>
    3. Go to the 'Extensions' tab<br>
    4. Find 'AVG Safe Search' and disable.<br>
    5. Restart FF and test Google image search.<br>

  • Google Images not working in Safari on Iphone

    Since a while back the "images"-tab in google does'nt work on the iPhone in any of the browsers I've tried. I've searched the net to find others with the same problem but with little luck. Here's a description of the problem.
    For example I search for "dog" in google in the Safari browser, this works just fine.
    Then I press the "images"-tab and get a thumbnail view with pictures of dogs, of course.
    But this is where it all goes wrong, when touching one of the images I get an enlarged view of an image next to it. The "back to the results" and "full image" buttons dim out (without being touchable) and swiping does not work. I don't know what has caused this to stop working properly, I know its not the new iOS version though.
    HERE is a youtube video I prepared that explains the problem.
    First, is there anyone else out there with this problem?
    Second, this is what I've tried:
    - Other iPhone web browser applications, for example "Mercury", "Opera Mini", "Skyfire" and none of them works except "Dolphin" (good work).
    - Resetting any of the settings in the phone, clearing cache and such have no effect.
    - Resetting the iPhone totally, factory settings. No effect.
    - Using someone elses iPhone. I've tried on an iPhone 4 and iPhone 3S, same problems (with iOS 5.01).
    - Trying out all of the settings in google, no change.
    - Setting the google view to "classic" instead of "mobile" works of course, but that makes the site look just like on a PC or Mac and is not what I'm after.
    Third, this problem seems to just affect Swedish users from what I can tell. There would be thousands of posts about this if everyone in the world was affected by it, but so far I've seen no posts on this matter. But after searching a while I found a swedish forum site on the subject. Link (in swedish). Also, when visiting google from Sweden some form of script automatically changes the url from .com to .se. I don't know if this has something to do with it?
    Anyone know what causes this problem and how It might be resolved?
    Best Regard
    Stefan, Sweden

    Hi Stefan,
    First; this must be the most thorough error discription I have ever seen. Impressive.
    Second; yep for a couple of weeks now I've been having exactly the same problems as you describe. One other thing that I've noticed, is that for me, the 'word suggestion drop down list' or whatever it's name is, no longer works. More specificly:
    I open Safari in my iPhone, surf to Google image search and type for example "dog" in the search field. Below the field, I now get a list of suggested words or phrases that I think is based on the most popular searches. For me, the first suggestion in this list is "dogo argentino" (a specific and popular breed of dogs). When I tap on the words "dogo argentino", the search field normally would switch input from "dog" to "dogo argentino" AND starts the image search automatically. However, since the problem showed up, when I tap on "dogo argentino" the input field is not affected (still reads "dog") and I would have to type "dogo argentino" manually and hit "search".
    I use a Swedish iPhone 4S (5.0.1 (9A406)) in the Telenor network. I also have tested the same possible solutions that you describe in your post, but with no luck.
    All the best,
    Ingo

  • When I want to attach a file to an e-mail I'm sending from my iCloud account it makes the file show up in the body of the e-mail instead of attaching it as a separate file the receiver can open.  How can I change this?

    When I want to attach a file to an e-mail I'm sending from my iCloud account it makes the file show up in the body of the e-mail instead of attaching it as a separate file the receiver can open.  How can I change this?

    It should be an attachment.  Your Mac just displays a preview of certain attachments (such as .pdfs) in the body of the message.  A PC, for example, will see it as an attached file rather than a preview.
    You can save the attachment on your Mac by Control-clicking on it and selecting Save Attachment.

  • APERTURE users: how do we send full size images without compression? Mail compresses, Drop Box, all that have a tag "badges" next to JPEG under 'Info' in Aperture compress? What can I do, HELP Please.

    In Aperture under INFO at bottom it says Badges; if it has an Icon in the block it compresses JPEG image down to KB? Using mail, using drop box with my Aperture and can't figure out how to get rid of 'Badges with the Icon in the box to be able to send full size. Also have been using: "onOne Software" an add on editing program thats awesome, works as a stand alone, Aperture, & Lightroom.
    Bottom Line I can't send to lab my web page, or individule without it compressing. Even created a desk top folder droped & dragged in ZIP & still Compression?

    See this link:  Aperture 3 User Manual: Understanding Badge Overlays
    The badges in the Info panel have nothing to do with compression. The tell you, if your image has keywords attached, if it is a raw or jpeg image, if has been externally edited, or if it is referenced.
    When you send an jpeg using mail, you need to set the image size in Mail to "Acual Size", otherwise will Mail compress the image.  For example:
    If you have really large images, Mail may not be optimal, because the server of the recepient may refuse to accept large Mail attachments.  In that case export the image from Aperture in the resolution you want with "File > Export" and compress it as a zip file. That will not reduce the quality.
    Send the zipped file, if it is small enough, otherwise upload it to an ftp-server.
    The receiver can uncompress it.

  • Help with removing images from Google image searches with Dreamweaver

    I made a sight in dreamweaver, and need to remove a page from that website with some old images. So I removed the link and moved the webpage from the root folder. And If I go into dreamweaver the page is blank showing the image has been removed.
    But the images are still showing up in google image searches even though I removed them in dreamweaver and re-uploaded the sight successfully. How do I remove them form the internet completely so they no longer show up in google images??
