Sending a mail to Outlook as a Meeting Request

I am having problem while sending a mail to Outlook as a meeting request using JavaMail. If any of know or worked on it, please help me. Please send me sample code if you have.

Hello Madhu,
The only way to send an email without opening a client is: using server-side mail objects invoked by your app.
This would be the workflow:
- your user fills in form data (subject, body, mail_to)
- your application sends form data to a server (via httpservice or webservice or AMF)
- the server takes care of sending the mail in a way that is transparent to your user
So: it is not possible to send emails without opening the iPhone client (I think by "outlook" you mean the "mail client" with an Exchange account) for security reasons. You wouldn't want any app to send mails without you pressing "Send" in a known interface.

Can't send E-mails using Outlook Express on WRT300N

Hello, I searched through the forums to find problems similar to mine, but everyone had a different router than mine, plus none of the solutions worked for me.
I just purchaced and installed my router yesterday. Since the install, I have not been able to send e-mails using Outlook Express, but I do recieve e-mails. I am using the WRT300N Wireless-N Router.
Trying to get my local news service up and running, and right now, e-mail communication is vital........

Well of course, but the error message says socket error, which doesn't tell how to fix it. Even the Outlook Express help site doesn't give any suggestions to fix anything, other than "Your internet connection has failed," which is not the problem.
To the disable firewalls suggestion: I did try disabling my firewalls and all of my virus/ e-mail scan software just to check it out. The thing is, I don't see how my Windows XP Firewall, or anything I've been using could be a problem. Right now, because of the error all my sent e-mails are stuck in the outbox, when I disconnect my router and connect everything back up leaving the router out of the picture, the e-mails are sent out as normal. This problem only occurs with the router connected.
I also need to stream live audio, and I've heard it's a pain using a wireless router...
Thanks for the suggestions, hopefully someone will provide the winning suggestion so I don't have to call customer service!

Problem Sending E-mails with Outlook 2007

We have multiple e-mail addresses here at my office, all on the same server, same domain, etc. 2 users are unable to send e-mails, but can receive just fine. The e-mails they send are showing in the "sent folder"; however the recipient never receives
the e-mail, and there are no error messages! My e-mail, again it's associated with the same domain and server, works just fine, I can send and receive e-mails all day. The ports are correct, the settings are correct, I have checked EVERYTHING! I have even
deleted those 2 e-mail accounts and set them up again as new accounts, and no luck still. PLEASE ADVISE!!!

What about when using Outlook Web App [OWA] or Outlook in Online Mode? See if they have any anti-virus software components integrated with Outlook, disable them and verify result.

Can't send iCloud mail from Outlook 2011

I have recently installed Office 2011 for Mac on my Macbook Pro and I want to set up my iCloud mail on it. I can receive mail just fine but I can't send mail at all. I keep getting error code 17092 saying that the SMTP server doesn't recognize any of the authentication methods supported by Outlook. How can I fix this problem or do I have to just use the native Mail app? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I was having the same issue. I was able to fix by login into appleid.apple.com and setting my @me as the primary email adress.( Make sure you verify it) The deleted your i cloud account on you Iphone, Ipad or Touch then added it again. You should be able to send email using icloud

Sending e-mails from outlook

I've just switched Broadband to BT from EE and everything seems fine so far. However, I run a small business with an e-mail address linked to my website provided by namesco. It worked fine using Outlook 2010 with EE. Now, however, I am receiving e-mails OK but am unable to send. I assume its something to do with the outgoing server. I've changed it to mail.btinternet.com but it doesn't work. I tried phoning the helpdesk but she couldn't help either and after half an hour I hung up the phone. Can anyone help me? Under 'settings' in Outlook I wonder if its something to do with SMTP requires authentication.

Email user name: (Normally you only need the prefix of your email address but some users have found the need to enter their full email address.ie [email protected])
Password: Your BT email password.
Log on using clear text authentication
Out Going Server in requires Authentication (Use same as incoming mail server. Some users have found that they need to enter the password and username instead of ticking box “use same as incoming mail server” )
Outgoing Port : 465 SSL security
Incoming Port : 995 SSL security

Trouble sending e-mails using OUTLOOK for MAC ;MAC I-PAD or I-PHONE.

I have the 3 devises MAC; I-PAD and I-Phone. My normal e-mail account was working fine then suddenly it stopped SENDING mail (I can still receive).
I am using OUTLOOK for MAC as my mail account.
My regular laptop works perfectly with all the same settings-it is only my apple devises.
I have attempted the following:
Reboot.
Checked all settings and changed both the smtp and the outgoing port.
Contacted the various service provider who have checked all of their settings and all is fine.
I get an error message saying OUTLOOK CAN NOT FIND THE SERVER or SERVER CONNECTION HAS FAILED, but sitting right next to me the laptop is sending/receiving as normal.
Any ideas??

Based on my knowledge, getting an alert before sending messages can't be achieved by Exchange Server.
I would like to know what your purpose is. If you want to avoid users from sending wrong messages, recall feature can help them when they send wrong messages.

Sending an Outlook 2003/2010 Meeting Request via CF

Well, that about sums it up!
OK, a few more details: my application is sending out emails without any problems, but now the user wants to be able to receive appointment requests to the public calendar that she maintains instead of having to retype the email information that is coming to her inbox. Her ideal solution is to receive an appointment request to the public calendar which she can accept, tentatively accept, ir decline.
This public calendar (called DMV-ISB) is available to everyone in the department and we can manually add our leave information to it. However, as humans are inclined to do, no one bothers. This creates an administrative nughtmare for her and there are days she spends up to four hours coordinating the calendar.
We are currently using Outlook 2003, but expect to migrate to Outlook 2010 by the end of the year, so the solution has to be either robust or easily converted. I've tried using cfmail with the cfmailparam/cfmailpart tags, but all I get is an email, no appointment request.

As you pointed out, the owner still has to interact with the request (although a lot less interaction than before). An email appears and the owner has to open the attachment (which is the appointment request, properly formatted!) and then accept the request.
This is frustrating because I have seen other examples where the request arrives without being "cloaked" in an email as an attachment.
If you want to do this, find an example email and view the original email message directly.

if writing a module does not help you...I would suggest you go for a Java proxy for sending this mail and refer to this link for creating a Outlook meeting request using Javamail.

How to send meeting request by mail adapter

Hi,
I'm doing scenario from file to mail. I have a sender file adapter to pick up the meeting request standard format file(*.ics) from file system. On the other side I have a receiver mail adapter to send mail. What I want to do is the sent mail by mail adapter should be a meeting request instead of a normal email with meeting request as its attachment.
I use localejbs/AF_Modules/MessageTransformBean as first module in mail adapter, but the sent mail is also a normal with meeting request as its attachment. This is not what I expected.
I also created own module for mail adapter to realize it. Do I need to change the format of meeting reqeust information in payload? Actually I have chance to do it in module. But what should I do? Thanks.

How to send a mail with rich text content like using outlook

Hi All. I have a serious problem. When we send the mail from
outlook express or yahoo, we can send the mail with the text appearing
in the mail with bold font , with different colors, underlined etc.
If i type this kind of text in any word processor and mail that content through java mail then the message should be received by the recepient with all that bold,color and underlines etc as it is. Can anybody please help me in this case ASAP.

Go to this site and download the htmlArea Javascripts. Embedd them in your HTML and it will turn your normal HTML Text Area into Rich Text Area. Your real code will include all HTML tags. For example if you select some text and make it bold , the real HTML output will look like YOUR TEXT . So i guess your recipient should be able to receive HTML contents.

I suggest you can have a look in the example program BCS_EXAMPLE_1 for sending mail using the class CL_DOCUMENT_BCS.
Try for other example program also by searching with BCS_* in se38.
