Sending an e-mail automatically

Hello everyone,
I've been searching high and low but I can't find any answer.
Here's my issue :
After a 551 (scrap) movement on MIGO (Good Issue - Other), I want to send a mail to the SAP inbox of the MRP controller of that item (MRP1 view on MM03 transaction).
-How do I create a new mail form ?
-Where do I specify that at Material Doc creation, if 551, send said mail to target person ?

Is there anyway that I can get that to go away? I obviously would prefer a nice, cleanly formatted e-mail to be sent just like I would send if I were creating it on the spot.

Send result e-mail automatically

Hi,
I've just finished my quiz asking a bunch of Word and Excel
questions. The questions I added are a combination of Multiple
choice questions and blank slides with a click-box (which has to be
clicked on the good position to proceed).
The results are published to an e-mail which will be sent to
the tutor. Only problem is that when clicking the 'send e-mail'
button at the results page, the e-mail is still editable. In this
way it is possible to cheat (just change the values and then send
it). Is there a way to have the e-mail sent automatically when
finishing the last question (even without clicking a button to
actually send the e-mail).
The second thing I would like to add is a summary of the
questions and all the given answers in such a way that the trainee
is able to review the questions and the end of the test.

Hi Fabrizio81 and welcome to our community
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to accomplish what you
are trying to do. About the only way I can fathom it happening is
through some custom developed JavaScript.
Warning - Theory ahead
Using JavaScript combined with Captivate, you might be able
to construct a form in the companion HTML page that Captivate
produces when you output as .SWF and have the "Export HTML" check
box selected. You could have some trigger that invokes JavaScript
that would then interact with a hidden form on the companion page.
This hidden form would then interact with some PHP scripting on a
server that would send E-Mail from the server side and the user
would be totally unaware.
Again, this is total theory at this point. I'll have to put
it to the test soon and see if I can make it fly, as I do have all
the building blocks configured to do so.
I'll post back with specifics after I test.
As for the summary bit, that too may be possible using
JavaScript, but it would be more tricksy to accomplish. Certainly
cannot do this with Captivate "As Is". I'll ponder that one.

We have to create Auto Responder application where we need to send mails automatically to customers(clients) at regular intervals. we need to send these mails automatically without any manual involvement.Wat we know is just the client's email and once we get the clients mail,our application should be able to send these mails at regular periodic intervals. Mail automatically sending attachments - ON ITS OWN!

So, When I write an email and send an attachment, everything is fine. Then, when I send the next email, with NO attachment, email sometimes takes the last attachment I sent and sends it. It ONLY does this AFTER I hit the "send" button, so.... I have no way of telling if THIS time is going to be the time that mail automatically sends an attachment.
This has been very embarrassing because two times today clients of mine have received zips of files, including source files, that belong to ANOTHER CLIENT! Imagine being afraid to send an email because you are not sure if mail is going to attach a random attachment!!
Please help! --> if it is of any help, when I drag an attachment to my mail icon in the dock, it opens two new email messages, but might be unrelated. Please help me understand what is going on!

What, you want wisdom as well as solutions? Not that I have either to offer, only a couple of suggestions.
If you are using that second new mail message that opens, don't- delete it and start a real new one. I would also suggest not dragging a file to the Mail icon as there are known issues with this, and you might be experiencing a strange side effect. Before clicking send, disconnect from the network. Your outgoing message will land up in the Outbox where you can check it and if necessary remove any attachments. When you reconnect the message will go.

SLAW Sending User Type Result by mail automatically

I user SLAW in our Solman system as a Central Law system for our 80 SAP Systems.
I succeed to put in place automatic mesurement in satellite systems, automatic consolidation and grouping of users in Central Law and now I would to send weekly by mail a pdf with User Type classification result.
Could someone let me know how to do because I succed to send it once but I don"t know how to do it by a background job.

Store all your texts like dear sir , please find the attachment in text elements example text-001 contains please find the attachments and text-002 contains thank you and so on.
Once you do this the place where you call your pdf palce them there and concat them.
example:
data: wa_msg type solisti1,
i_msg type standard table of solisti1.
wa_msg-line = text-001.
append wa_msg to i_msg.
then you fill the receivers and call the FM for sending pdf mail

I switched e-mail clients from windows live to thunderbird in mid december to alleviate problems in sending group e-mail. I have thunderbird on a different laptop and the product works flawlessly. The client works flawlessly with one exception: It automatically deletes any read e-mail in my inbox every 14 days without any input from me. I have had ITOK & Hughes.net look at the problem as I am using my inbox as a staging area for for pending business that tracks progress of different events. I have checked settings and there are no evident features that I can switch on or off with that time frame. This has occurred 3 times since December and I have resorted to printing e-mails to prevent loss of data.
The desktop uses windows 7, IMAP for incoming mail...

Log into your account at the providers web mail page and look for any retention options that might be there. Do not put too much into what their help desk tells you. Most help desk agents are lucky to know that the ringing sound means to answer the phone.

I am using the Mail Program with my Gmail acoount. It works fine except Mail automatically bcc:s me on every email I send. I checked the Mail preferences and the box is unchecked in the composing section "Automatically cc: myself".

I'm using ADF Logger, and I wonder if there is the possibility to make the WLS to automatically send an e-mail when an error occurs.
